Episode 54 - Prophecies of the Bible Pt. 20 - D-Day

There will be threats to the power of the Antichrist from the south, and he will also move to destroy a revived Babylon in the east before finally turning his forces towards Jerusalem to subdue and destroy it. As he and his armies move on Jerusalem, God will intervene and Jesus Christ will return to rescue His chosen people, Israel. Episode 51 - Prophecies of The Bible Pt. 17 - One World Government

Episode 49 - Prophecies of The Bible Pt. 15 - Sticks and Bones
By now you have probably read the iconic story in Ezekiel about the valley of dry bones and how God told Ezekiel to speak to the bones. They would come together and grow sinew, skin, and God would breathe life into them. It's kind of an odd story to say the least but is 100% full of a prophetic meaning. This week on Connecting the Gap we continue our study on Prophecies of the Bible and we discuss this prophecy. Please visit our website at www.connectingthegap.net for more podcasts and my blog.

Episode 47 - Prophecies of The Bible Pt. 13 - The Shout In Russia
There are those who say the Northern Kingdom of Israel has been wiped out and only a remnant of the Jews from the Southern kingdom are left in the world. Then there are nations that once refused to release their Jewish citizens. There are skeptics who said most of the Jews will never leave the land of their birth to live in Israel. But God said He is God of all the Jews. They will be reunited as one nation and regathered back in the land. In spite of their sins, God loves the Jews with a love that will never cease. He will draw them back into the land, rebuild the nation, rebuild Jerusalem, and give them crops. This week we continue our discussion in the book of Jeremiah, Lamentations, and we start Ezekiel. Episode 43 - Prophecies of the Bible Pt. 9 - Job Knows a Thing or Two
This week we get into the books of Poetry in the Bible. It has been suggested that at least up to 1/3 of the Old Testament is comprised of Hebrew Poetry. It is a little bit different type of poetry than what we are used to in the current times as poetry in Hebrew days repeated thoughts in various ways instead of having rhyming lines. We start out with a prophecy in Job and then continue into Psalms where prophecy is heavily scattered throughout the whole book. Episode 35 - Prophecies of the Bible Intro
This week on Connecting The Gap we are starting a new extended study on Prophecies in the Bible. You may not be aware but there are many covenants and prophecies sprinkled throughout the Bible from Genesis to Revelation and a huge majority of those have been fulfilled. The argument is out there whether God or His Word is real or not but the Bible stands firm and true to what is written inside of it. When God said something was going to happen in His word, so it has been hundreds of times through history. There are still prophecies to be fulfilled in the future as the end of time as we know it draws near. We will also get into those as well. This series will be an extended one as this will be a pretty thorough study. This week is the intro to set the foundation of what we are getting ready to study together. This week we continue last weeks discussion on having a relationship with the Holy Spirit. It's a mundane, boring church service if the Holy Spirit isn't included in worship. Do you treat Him like a person or an it? He is one of the three Godhead and they are all equal. We should be treating Him the same way as the Father and the Son. Episode 30 - Holy Spirit Relationship Pt. 1
There is virtually no Christianity without the Holy Spirit. If you take out the Holy Spirit, you are left with a dry, boring, monotonous religion that seems to have no meaning at all. You remove the Holy Spirit from the church and the church will dry up and become more like a social club that is there to just make you feel good. The Holy Spirit is a person in the Trinity. not just an "it". So many times we refer to Him as an it. This week we are starting a two week segment in our Holy Spirit study about having a relationship with the Holy Spirit. Please share and subscribe on your favorite podcasting platform.
