Sadly, all Zeus' lying around and sleeping has cause him to lose the use of his legs. The only way he can get around now is for his caretaker Sandy to push him around the house in a wheelchair. Brothers Zeus & Pancake share a meal together, before they were separated.  Sandy, the owner of Zeus and Pancake, went out of town, and allowed a neighborhood lady to watch out after Pancake. When Sandy came back home, the lady had taken Pancake to the vet to give Pancake a rabies shot. Since the lady did this, she thought she then owned Pancake. Sandy never got Pancake back. Zeus is treated with a ride in the car by his owner, and they cruise down 75th Street past a few shops and restaurants that Zeus wishes they'd stop at and get some yummy vittles and treats! I had to go feed Zeus the other evening. It has been a while since I made a video of Zeus, so this provided that opportunity. The "Prima Donna" that Zeus is, he got all bent out of shape because I didn't feed him the moment I walked into the front door. To display his impatience, he jumped up onto the kitchen countertop to let his "need for food" be heard! It's quite amazing that with his added weight, he can STILL jump up that high and get up onto the kitchen countertop! Very impressive! Zeus The Cat, not able to go outdoors anymore because he might end up as lunch for the neighborhood foxes, longs to go outside in the backyard. He’s so close he can almost touch freedom. But all he can attain is just the smell of the freedom he once had. Oh well, just more time to lounge around the house and sleep.

Zeus plays around while hiding under a carpet. November 4, 2022 

Zeus anticipates that the human in the kitchen might be getting him some food, so Zeus springs into action. He's so anxious, he cannot contain himself! This footage was taken on Sunday, October 30th, 2022.

"Sorta-hungry" Zeus acts like he is starving, and quietly hops up upon the kitchen countertop to demand that his food is delivered to his food tray pronto! It's cute how he purrs the whole time.

Zeus was feeling a little grumpy later in the evening, so it was time for him to play a little bit to get some of his aggression out. And he went nuts!

Moments Zeus is caught after escaping out of the house early Saturday morning, he talks the human that captured him into petting him for punishment.

Zeus is lured into playing and getting worked up, which usually ends up leading to total chaos. Don't do it, Zeus! Don't do it!

When Zeus is in a bad mood, he doesn't like anyone touching his tail. And if you DO touch his tail, it just roils him up into a frenzy. This video footage was taken on October 11th, 2022.

A human tries to feed Zeus a cucumber, but Zeus is wise enough to just walk away.

Before I could get my camera out and ready to record, Zeus was already halfway up the stairs. We just rattled some cat food, and he came running like a banshee!  😂 😂 😂 This video was taken on Wednesday, October 12th, 2022. Check out the slo-mo replay as well.

 Zeus gets a free cruise ride down the hall on his grandmas walker. Zeus never had it so good. This video was taken on Saturday, September 3rd, 2022.

Well cooped up inside, Zeus encounters a free chipmunk running around on his back patio. Zeus is totally enraged, because he wishes he was free and running around outside like the chipmunk. The chipmunk is blatantly trespassing on his patio! Zeus thinks the chipmunk is ultra lucky, because if Zeus was back there, he would teach that trespassing chipmunk a lesson he would never forget! Zeus is perplexed by a cardboard game, where he has to try and grab what is inside the holes.. Every time he sticks his paws into one of the cardboard holes, he comes up empty.
