Wrong priorities lead to wrong decisions which may lead future generations to a place that they were not originally destined for. The stops of the Hebrews can be likened to chapters in our lives today. Each one has a start and a finish that when combined make a complete story.

One can only be zealous for the right thing if they know what the right thing is. The right thing is found in a Scripture which has the same theme in the end that it does in the beginning. That theme will not be found in modern day prophets for hire, but by time spent in The Book itself.

So much is happening in the world. What is really important?

What do you get when you mix an enemy of Israel a prophet for hire and a talking donkey, who is by the way smarter than his co-stars? You get a story of the faithfulness of Yah even when we don’t see what He is being faithful in!

It has been 38 years since the Hebrews left Egypt. Frustration is setting in, a frustration which will cost their leader Moshe a very high price. Once again, the mantra is grumbling and complaining. Once again, the outcome is death.

In the days of the wilderness there were many voices trying to lead the people back. Times have really not changed much. We must set our focus on what lies ahead. Seeking Godly anointing instead of man’s outward appearance is vital.

The more we understand, the less we may understand. Good thing faith is not about our understanding.

This Torah portion has it all. Lack of faith, complaining, grumbling, rebellion and a desire to go back where they came from. Before we point fingers, it may be a good time for a look in the mirror. Just remember that those who focused on giants became bird food. We can do better, but will we?

The set-up of the menorah gives us so many pictures for our lives. Yah has placed order into His creation. When humans try to change His order it never goes very well. Lesson to learn here.

Hanoch is in the final planning and packing for his 24th trip to the US. It is time to look toward the Kingdom clock instead of the doomsday clock.

Everyone has their place in this journey of exile to Kingdom. Our walk is to be as anointed by the blessing of His name and presence in our lives. The Blessing contains everything we need for our walk, spiritually, emotionally, physically and financially.

Before we look at the las chapters of Leviticus I give a brief update of my Israel trip. How is our walk and is it bringing life? To that question, it is not as important what our answer is, but rather what is the answer of those who are watching?
