The purpose of the convoy has been largely achieved, there's still some political pressure to be applied, but the convoy itself, as a demonstration of strength and popularity with the people for their issues has been fulfilled

Maureen Steele of the People's Convoy sat down with TL to discuss the present and future of the convoy as well as upcoming projects of her own.

The attendance both in trucks, campers, cars and locals was massive, more than anything seen before and more trucks coming tomorrow. It must take a lot effort to fail to notice something this immense. The lead truck, the faded red cabover, was driven by Mike Landis and the passenger, you might know if you watch Steve Bannon's podcast, was Ben Bergquam, who does a lot of reporting from the border.

We discuss issues from the convoy to war to internal threats. Michael is a war correspondent who has spent most of his life overseas covering almost every conflict on every continent. He’s been down south to discover the source and severity of the illegal immigrant convoys storming the southern border and across the seas covering the Honk Kong protests. Michael is a former Special Forces soldier and uniquely qualified to be a real correspondent on the ground in the war zone, not a nation away in a hotel room, relying on drones to get the footage. I have a lot of respect for Mr. Yon and was very happy to get to know him better.

I took a day off from following the convoy to go out and talk to those who support the convoy's efforts to better understand their point of view and concerns.
