Unboxing of 1byone® Super Thin HDTV Antenna With 50 Mile Range & Signal Amplifier
This is an unboxing and initial setup of the 1byone® Super Thin HDTV Antenna. The antenna can be found on Amazon.com and while being affordable has a ton of features. If you're looking to cut the cord this is definitely a viable low cost cord cutting alternative. Just hook it up to your TV, and you'll get 94 of the top 100 shows - which are all found on broadcast TV.
Some features:
Free over-the-air broadcast: Just hook this antenna up to your tv or digital tuner on your computer like I did.
Detachable amplifier: If you are far from the broadcast towers, you can use the included amplifier to boost the signal.
High quality build: Durable hard plastic antenna and 10 ft. cable. Should stand the test of time.
Nice Long cable: 10 foot long cable should be plenty long for hooking it up to your TV.
Warranty: The antenna has a one year warranty.

#MoneyMinute - Save Money By Becoming A Cord Cutter
One Minute. One Tip. #MoneyMinute
Find more details about how to cut the cord at http://www.biblemoneymatters.com/cordcutter
------------------------------------------------
Pay-TV customers have an average monthly bill of $123 according to NPD Group. My tip to save money is to get rid of your expensive satellite or cable TV package and become a cord cutter.
Hesitant to cancel because you love having a ton of entertainment options? You're in luck! You can still get a huge amount of content for free over the air, or through affordable online streaming options. Here's what you need to do.
- First, Get an over the air DVR like the Tablo Over The Air DVR. You can record all your favorite over the air shows, and watch them on all your devices- smartphones, tablets, computers and of course on your TV. http://www.biblemoneymatters.com/tablo-tv-over-the-air-dvr-the-cord-cutters-dream/
- Second, get a video streaming device. My current favorite is the Amazon Fire TV Stick for only $39. http://www.biblemoneymatters.com/amazon-fire-tv-stick-review-a-device-for-the-cord-cutters-toolbox/
-Third, subscribe to a video streaming service after determining which ones have access to your favorite shows that you want to watch. Some of my favorite services include:
- Sling TV
- Netflix
- Amazon Instant Video
- Hulu
- HBO Now.
Once you've setup your cord cutting package, instead of paying $123/month you'll likely be spending more in the range of $20-30/month or less. Who couldn't use an extra $1200 a year?

Channel Master DVR+: A Subscription Fee Free Over-The-Air DVR To Help You Cut The Cord
An Unboxing & Initial Impressions Of The Channel Master DVR+: http://www.biblemoneymatters.com/go/channelmasterdvr
Full Review: http://www.biblemoneymatters.com/channel-master-dvr-the-fee-free-over-the-air-dvr-for-cord-cutters/
Cutting the cord on cable and satellite have never been easier. The Channel Master DVR+ is one of several over-the-air DVRs that have come on the market, but the DVR+ has several things that set it apart.
- NO FEES: It has no subscription fees. Other devices will have fees that run anywhere from $5-15/month all the way up to $150-600 for a lifetime subscription to program guide data. The DVR+ has no monthly subscription fees. After you buy it, it is fee free. This is huge!
- Familiar Cable Box Feel: It allows you to watch your broadcast television in a familiar format and with a guide similar to what you've seen in your cable company's box. The only difference is that this is only broadcast TV, and you also get online streaming channels and apps for services like Sling TV, YouTube, Vudu and Pandora. Other services will be coming soon I'm told.
- Expandable: Add USB hard drives to expand the storage.
- Recording Flexibility: Record one show, or record an entire series of shows. When you watch recordings you can skip forward or back just like you do with your cable company DVR.
- Streaming channels integrated into the unit, now including Sling TV as well!
In short, this DVR is the cord cutters dream machine. Watch and record all of your favorite broadcast shows. After all, 92 of 100 top shows are all on broadcast TV.

Putting Together Your Own Cord Cutting Package
Putting Together Your Own Cord Cutting Package, And A Look At Mine..
Full article: http://www.biblemoneymatters.com/the-great-big-cord-cutting-manual-for-cost-conscious-consumers/
In the past year or so we've seen a lot of big changes in the streaming TV world, and it has made dumping expensive cable and satellite TV packages that much more feasible, without having to worry about losing access to your favorite shows.
So what are some of the changes that we've seen in the past year or two?
We've seen the rise of over-the-air DVRs that make it easy to record high definition TV programming for no cost other than the cost of the DVR itself.
We've seen several new streaming services pop up, like Sling TV and PlayStation Vue, that promise to make cutting the cord much more pain free. And we've seen big cable TV empires like HBO, that traditionally are only available via a cable TV subscription, launch their own a-la-carte online streaming channels.
The TV landscape is changing, and it's easier than ever to drop your expensive cable subscription. So let's get started and look at what you need to have in order to create your own cord cutting package.
You'll need:
High speed internet
Streaming device
Streaming video services
DVR
Antenna

Amazon Echo Review, Unboxing and Demonstration. You Say It, Alexa Plays It.
Amazon Echo Unboxing, Review and Demonstration
Full review:
http://www.biblemoneymatters.com/amazon-echo-review-voice-controlled-bluetooth-speaker-and-virtual-assistant/
A short while ago I heard about a cool new product that Amazon was releasing called the Amazon Echo. The Echo is a Bluetooth speaker, an audio player, and a virtual assistant along the lines of Siri or Google Now. When I heard about it, I thought it sounded pretty cool, and knew I had to have one. The only problem was that you could only get one by invitation. So I signed up to be put on the waiting list.
A week or two ago I got an email from Amazon saying I was able to order one of the devices (only one). It could be at my house within 2 days. I hesitated for a day, and by that time the delivery date was 3 weeks out. Finally I jumped on and it just arrived this week.
Here's my unboxing and review video of the #AmazonEcho. If you want to just jump in and watch as I ask the Echo questions, head over to the 7 minute mark: http://youtu.be/q-9qdDvCt4w?t=7m
Get put on the waiting list for the Amazon Echo here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00L9EOQCO/?tag=bibmonmat0f-20
So what's my verdict on the Amazon Echo? We’ve been having a lot of fun with the Echo and really enjoy it.
When the Echo first arrived, my wife said she couldn’t imagine that she’d ever use it. Later that night I was putting my son to bed upstairs and I could hear her asking the Echo to play music from one of her favorite artists downstairs. She’s been converted by how fun the Echo is to use. You say it, Echo plays it!
My son is no different. He’s been having a blast playing his favorite songs. The only problem? I’m not sure yet of a way to lock him out – he tends to turn the volume up as high as he can by saying “Alexa, louder!”, and the Echo is plenty loud when it’s turned up.
I’ve been using the Echo every morning as I eat my breakfast, I ask it for a flash news briefing and it gives me the news of the day from NPR and other sources. Handy.
I’ve been impressed with the Echo and how well the voice recognition works. While it still needs a bit of work in the number of questions it can answer, that can only get better over time. The Echo’s speech sounds very natural, and it’s easy to start thinking that you have adopted a new member of the family when Alexa starts talking.

Unboxing & Review Of The Nuvyyo Tablo TV Over-The-Air DVR: The Cord Cutters Dream
Full Tablo TV Review: http://www.biblemoneymatters.com/tablo-tv-over-the-air-dvr-the-cord-cutters-dream/
Putting together a cord cutting package: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=alqqltYpicc
For the last few years I've written quite a bit on my site about cutting the cord and finding ways to dump your expensive cable or satellite TV package.
On a recent post that I wrote about using a digital antenna to get HDTV programming, one reader mentioned that if they canceled their cable TV package that they would miss their cable company's DVR because they like to record series of their favorite shows, watch local football games, and so on. Another commenter chimed in that they would suggest checking out the Tablo TV over-the-air DVR which should give you much of that same video recording functionality.
I reached out to the company that makes the Tablo device, Nuvyyo, and asked if they might be able to send out a device for me to review. They were kind enough to do just that. So let's take a look at the Tablo TV Over-The-Air HDTV DVR!
A few specs for the Tablo DVR:
2 ATSC digital tuners (or 4 depending on which unit you buy)
10/100 ethernet port
2 USB port
WiFi included: 802.11n dual band 2.4 and 5Ghz with MIMO
Upgradeable firmware
RAM 512 MB (2 Tuner), 1GB (4 Tuner)
Flash 1 GB
Bluetooth 4.0 (for future applications)
Features of the Tablo DVR:
Watch, pause and record live TV
Skip commercials
Schedule recordings
Manage existing recordings
Record up to 2 shows simultaneously
Watch on up to 6 devices simultaneously
Watch on PC/Mac or iPhone/Android smartphone via browser
Stream live AND recorded shows anywhere in the world
Streaming to TV via AppleTV/Roku/Chromecast (More devices planned in the future)
iPad & Android tablet app interface

Cut Your Budget Some Slack - Song
Song: Cut Your Budget Some Slack
http://www.biblemoneymatters.com/cut-your-budget-some-slack-by-slashing-your-recurring-expenses/
If your pockets are empty and dinero is short
Take time to examine before you are poor
The bills in the mail and your other big costs
You’ll be glad that you did, save money, you boss!
If you want to save money and your bills just ain’t funny
It’s time … to cut back
If your costs are sky-high and you’re asking why
Cut your budget some slack
Cutting your cable and your magazine scrips
Your Netflix and your cell phone and life insurance
Refinance your mortgage, insurance and car
You’ll be well on your way to being a star
If you want to save money and your bills just ain’t funny
It’s time … to cut back
If your costs are sky-high and you’re asking why
Cut your budget some slack
Ah yeah, time to cut..
