God spake His laws regarding theft and restitution. God's laws regarding a witch, bestiality, sacrificing unto other gods, vexing and oppressing a stranger, afflicting widows and fatherless children. Laws regarding killing a man, smiting father and mother, stealing and selling a man, cursing father and mother, and hurting a pregnant woman and killing her baby. Laws regarding an ox that gore people and the responsibility of its owner.

The children of Israel chided with Moses about no water. The Lord made water cometh out from the rock. Joshua fought and defeated Amalek. Jethro came to see Moses and offered his counsel. God's presence on mount Sinai.
