Tim Hoven is a fourth-generation Alberta farmer and rancher. He lives on a farm on the eastern edge of Clearwater County, near the small town of Eckville. Tim is a former Reeve of Clearwater County and served on the municipal council from 2017 to 2021. He and his wife Lori raise organic grass-finished beef. Born in small town British Columbia, Sims has been employed (and taxed) since she was 12 years old, working in horse stables, fast food joints and gas stations before attending journalism school at BCIT. She worked in radio on Vancouver Island before moving to Ottawa to work as a legislative assistant on Parliament Hill. She then joined News Talk Radio 580 CFRA as a producer, reporter and anchor, eventually becoming a journalist for the CTV Parliamentary Bureau. Sims was a founding reporter for Sun News Network and proudly covered issues of big government, personal liberty and the rights of small town and rural Canadians until Sun News was shut down. She then worked as a director of communications on Parliament Hill, and as the senior producer for Evan Solomon at CFRA Radio. Dr. Jessica Rose is a Canadian researcher with a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Mathematics and a Master's degree in Immunology from Memorial University of Newfoundland. She also holds a PhD in Computational Biology from Bar Ilan University and 2 Post Doctoral degrees: one in Molecular Biology from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and one in Biochemistry from the Technion Institute of Technology. She was also accepted for a 2-month program as a senior researcher at the Weizmann Institute prior to completion of her latest post doctoral degree at the Technion. Brian Lee Crowley, one of Canada’s most original political thinkers, has produced a stunning road map for how we can steer Canada into a brighter political future. He claims that we can divide political culture into two categories: designers and gardeners. From 2004-2019 Brad Trost served as a Member of Parliament for the Saskatoon area. Ray's political involvement began at an early age, when in the late 1950s he was a youth member of the Social Credit Party, begun by William Aberhart, continued by Ernest Manning and then Harry Strom, Ray's uncle. It was during this time that much of his conservative values were formed largely within family but also the larger community. This has shaped his views right up to the present, with memberships in the conservative movement (UCP) parties right up to the present. Ray currently owns and operates a geological laboratory based in Calgary, but serves clients worldwide. One interesting sidetone is that his innovative technical skills have led him to travel to interesting places, not the least of which are Jordan and Israel. Verifying obscure passages of the Bible, sometimes thought to be myths, has deepened his and other's faith. Expeditions to Grand Canyon and other sites in the U.S. Southwest have verified formerly questioned statements. Ray has been an active part of the home education movement in Alberta and Canada. Active engagement with government in those early years of home education in the 1980s led to leadership in that movement, constant interaction with government, and now continues with his board position on the Home School Legal Defence Association Canada. Ray's motto: "Follow your God-given passions and hang on for the ride of your life." Raymond Strom was born in Southern Alberta, and grew up in the community of Burdett.
