A beautiful Cooper's Hawk that's graced my day with his presence.

Happened upon a patch of wild corndogs and noticed this one unraveling in the wind as she send her babies out into the great big world....

This is Lil' Blew, another of my wild pets here at the lily ponds. He's a total character. He gets right up close and personal with me some days, even to the point that he flies to my side on days when the hawks invade and are chasing him around the place. Another of my Morning Moments. I love this little blue bird.

This is Cracker, a White Heron aka the Greater Egret. He stays in the lily ponds, follows my bestie and myself around the park fishing the ponds when we feed the fish. He gets so close to us, it's awesome. Another of my wild pets.

Spring is in the air! It was a hot, balmy sunny Florida day on June 16th, 2021. All across the lily pond, frog egg strings were strung. The frog moms and frog daddys-to-be were all paired up and mating; as little froggy eggs they were a laying. A few days shall pass and oh alas! Tadpoles burst forth from eggs to fill up the ponds. And so, the circle of froggy life shall continue on.
