Early February Update on Legislation in Idaho - with Lauren Walker of AssembleXIdaho
In this interview, Lauren Walker discusses how she was asked to assume the helm at AssembleXIdaho, an online digital town square that happens weekly on the X platform (formerly Twitter).
For several years, Lauren has been very active in reporting on Idaho politics, and in this interview she brings us up to date one some of the high profile legislative items currently in the pipeline. Topics include:
The fight in the Joint Finance Appropriation Committee (JFAC) on how budgets get passed in the state.
When Governor Brad Little first assumed the office, the state’s annual budget was $8.3 billion. Six years later it’s nearly $14 billion. Legislators are working to curtail pork spending, because Brad Little has never seen a tax dollar he didn’t like.
ALSO: Walker discuses the history of what’s become known as “The Library Bill,” which would restrict access of what amounts to pornographic books to children, placing those books in the adult section of libraries.
Contrary to the Leftist narrative that this would be a book ban, it’s simply keeping smut out of easy access to kids. And yet establishment Republicans and Democrats want kids to have easy access.
Interestingly, those who support kids having free access to smutty books in libraries, they want to restrict porn access to kids on their cell phones. This is a slippery slope that could easily lead to governments restricting “misinformation” on cell phones, which would be defined by the government. Given the censorship of truthful information that ran counter to the government narrative during the Covid plannedemic, this should be a concern.
Medicaid is also a contentious issues at the statehouse, with Democrats and establishment Republicans voting to continuing out of control spending. Malfeasance has been discovered in Medicaid spending to the tune of more than $100 million, as the state is paying for people to be on the program that are not qualified to be on the program.
Legislation has been proposed to clean up the problem, but Democrats and Establishment Republicans are sitting on it.
The state’s attorney general office has been asked to look into the problems, but left-leaning bureaucrats are claiming it’s a conflict of interest for an executive branch office (AG) to investigate another executive office department (IDHW).
Walker also discussed how the new Transparent Idaho website can be used to search state government expenditures. Bobinski and Walker discussed some of the different ways government agencies hide what they’re doing.
AssembleXIdaho is an online live townhall hosted by Lauren Walker each Wednesday evening at 7pm Mountain / 6pm Pacific. It can be found at https://twitter.com/AssembleXIdaho.

Making a Difference in Idaho - it's the TIN Podcast featurig Asia Williams & Shane Klaas
Idaho is in a dangerous position. Leftists are bringing a Marxist agenda to the state but they’re covering it with the cloak of First Amendment, diversity, equity, and inclusion. Their talking points sound compassionate and they tug at people’s hearts, but these policies are moving Idaho further to the Left, and they’re succeeding by co-opting people who claim the label Republican but don’t vote for Republican principles.
Complicating matters are groups that use terms like “conservative” when their positions are nothing of the sort.
Further complicating matters occur when two or three true conservatives enter a race for a particular elected office as they challenge one “squishy” / Leftist Republican. The result is the conservatives split their votes and the left-leaning Republican gets elected. To truly return the Republic, conservatives will need to figure out a solution to this.
With that, it’s time now to start recruiting TRUE Constitutional conservatives to challenge those who put Rs after their names but don’t support the platform on which they run.
Also, not all elected officials are alike, so you need to get to know those who are holding elected office. This show features multiple views on how to approach your representatives so that they’ll listen.
As Col. John Mills points out in his book, The Nation Will Follow, if we want to restore the Republic, we need to get involved at the local level.

Soros-Funded County Prosecutor Fumbling the Trump Indictment - and How to Fix the Country
Join Keep the Republic host Daniel Bobinski as he interviews Colonel (Ret) John Mills, who has 33 years in the military and is the former Director of Cybersecurity Policy at the Department of Defense. He spent a lot of time at the White House and in the Pentagon, and as he says in his book, The Country Will Follow," he used to be part of the Deep State. Only he didn't know it at the time. Through several key encounters at the Pentagon and in high-level meetings, Colonel Mills saw the truth - the Deep State is not looking out for America's best interests.
In this interview, Bobinski and Mills explore the goings-on of Alvin Bragg, a county prosecutor in New York who is taking unprecedented action to indict Donald Trump on a case that has been dropped by US / Federal prosecutors.
ALSO - Colonel Mills' book is explored and the two discuss the importance of what needs to be done at the local level if we can return this country to its Constitutional principles.

In the second half of the show, True Idaho News editor Daniel Bobinski and Asia discuss the progress on the effort to create a “Greater Idaho,” as well as some of the pros and cons.
Also discussed: The Idaho Session website (www.idahosession.com) and how easy it is to use to find and learn about legislation making its way through the 2023 legislative session.
REMEMBER: The key to restoring the Republic: is having more conservative Constitutionally minded people filling the Republican Precinct Committeeman positions. Contact Josh Gibbons: josh@rightwingmedia.net

Raw & unfiltered - True Idaho News hosts unload on those telling the lies permeating our culture
In their casual open, podcast hosts Daniel Bobinski and Josh Gibbons discuss weight loss, Daniel’s plant-based diet, and the dangers of statins.
Idaho’s new Attorney General Raul Labrador dismissed the state’s case against Sara Brady, the “Playground Mom” who was arrested by Meridian Police because she wouldn’t remove herself or her kids from a public park. The case made national news, and former AG Lawrence Wasden assumed the role of prosecuting attorney. The general belief among observers is that Wasden purposefully kicked the can for several years, trying to get Brady to cave due to escalating legal costs. Was it a purposeful vendetta from Wasden? Daniel and Josh discuss.
Also discussed: much MISINFORMATION was given us by the media and people in government agencies. People like Dr. Ryan Cole were “canceled” by various medical organizations, but abundant research is pouring in now showing that Dr. Cole was right all along. The people in the medical industry have been lying to the public (and to themselves). All evidence shows that those in the medical industry as well as those in the media and politicians all lied for one main reason: money.
Also discussed: Fantasy blogger Brian Holmes who is employed by KTVB-TV in Boise has been described by a former neighbor as a “flaming socialist.” That may be, but it was recently discovered that Holmes lives in a gated community. Kind of incongruous.
Also discussed: The techniques used to turn Colorado blue will not work in Idaho. More dangerously, leftist mentalities are filling establishment Republicans, and those people are smearing conservative Republicans.
Also discussed: The composition of the Idaho State Senate is much more conservative for the next two years. The problem: House and Senate leaders set up the education committees to be conservative on the Senate side, but “establishment liberal” on the House side. Similarly, they set up the Government Affairs committees to be conservative on the House side but “establishment liberal” on the Senate side. This will result in the leaders being able to block/prevent a lot of conservative legislation.
The key to restoring the Republic: more conservative Constitutional need to fill the Precinct Committeeman positions.

End-of-year podcast! Lies from the Governor and Health & Welfare, Josh’s trip to the border, & more
What unique things did Daniel & Josh do for Christmas?
Idaho Health & Welfare and Governor Little have regularly been telling us that the mRNA jabs are “safe and effective,” when neither is true. Daniel & Josh discuss the latest article at www.TrueIdahoNews.com on the misinformation coming from the governor, Health & Welfare, and the legacy media.
Listeners are also encouraged to watch Daniel’s interview with embalmer Richard Hirschman, which has gone viral. The video of that interview can be found at www.KeepTheRepublic.us.
Preventative treatments are discussed.
BONUS: Watch Daniel’s Keep the Republic show with Dr. Karladine Graves on what supplements help in treating cold and flu. https://www.brighteon.com/c05aec8d-d8b8-4c95-99d8-fcd2c3b624e1
Josh Gibbons reported on his trip to the Texas border with Rebel News to report on the flood of illegal immigrants coming into the United States. From the moment Josh got to the El Paso airport he was shocked – illegal immigrants were sleeping in the airport.
In his interviews with border crossers, Josh realized that the United States government is responsible for creating the humanitarian crisis that exists. Even border patrol will not enter certain portions of U.S. land areas because the drug cartels run the areas. Josh explains his eye-opening and shocking observations.

Idaho power plays, embarrassing kangaroo court in Idaho's GOP, and studies show masks don't work
The TIN podcast returns after a month off to bring you incisive commentary! In this episode, listen to TIN editor Daniel Bobinski and co-host Josh Gibbons discuss:
• The embarrassing Kangaroo Court in Idaho’s GOP that didn’t need to be.
• Wayne Hoffman’s Op-Ed on how the new House Speaker (Mike Moyle) has tried to throw off the dogs by removing a Democrat from the Joint Finance-Appropriations Committee (JFAC) all while obviously colluding with Senate President Pro Tem Chuck Winder to ensure conservative legislation will not get passed.
• Daniel Bobinski’s Op-Ed exposing that in 2002, Mike Moyle, Scott Bedke, and Brad Little all voted to repeal term limits for Idaho’s House and Senate members, and then voted to overrise the veto by Idaho’s governor!
• Mask studies have shown that they have ZERO impact on preventing viral transfer and all mask mandates are correspondently useless. Even “Mr. Science” Anthony Fauci cannot cite one study showing that masks work.
• Daniel Bobinski’s interview with embalmer Richard Hirschman and what he’s finding in deceased people’s arteries and veins since the “jabs” started – and how it was so informative, that “InfoWars” literally claimed the video as their own, placed their logo on it, and uploaded it to their website. Bobinski wants it known that neither he nor anyone at Shadowtrail Media gave InfoWars permission to re-label the video and upload it to the InfoWars website.
• Boise Police leadership (and former leadership) have been under the microscope for multiple reasons.

TIN podcast - Rep. Heather Scott Elaborates on Illegal Actions in Idaho's "Special Session"
Special guest: Representative Heather Scott discusses the “extraordinary” legislative session held this month. The bill presented and passed had THREE different topics – in violation of Idaho law – yet many so-called conservative legislators voted for it anyway, even after acknowledging the bill was not written in accordance with Idaho law.
Rep. Scott said, “It’s sad that this is where most legislators are … Fearful or intimidated to actually stand on truth or actually stand up for what they’ve taken an oath -- to protect the Constitution.”
Scott pointed out that it was the executive branch that wrote the bill and handed out strict instructions that nothing could be changed, and both House and Senate leadership carried out his instructions. “The Governor is acting outside his authority,” Scott said, and in her opinion, “like a tyrant.”
“Really, the people should be in charge,” Scott said. “We are not a business or a corporation that is supposed to be run top-down. We are supposed to be run ‘bottom-up’ government with the people in charge – the people directing their legislators – their representatives – to pass legislation that THEY want.”
In the second half of the show, hosts Daniel Bobinski and Josh Gibbons discussed their experience at the Reawaken America tour that took place in Post Falls on Sept 16 and 17.

TIN Podcast 37: Rep. Tammy Nichols on the Special Session; Paul Engle on the Constitution
Tammy Nichols on the Special Session
Rep. Nichols questions why Governor Little is calling this “extraordinary” session. How is this issue more important and more urgent than the Covid-19 “emergency,” where Little and (outgoing) Attorney General Lawrence Wasden performed feats of pretzel logic to say the Legislature didn’t need to meet 60 days after the declaration --- AS STATED IN THE CONSTITUTION? Nichols’ perspective: Little has offered no reason this issue can’t wait until January when the state legislature resumes.
Paul Engle on the U.S. Constitution
Coming up in Idaho in September are two talks on the power of the Constitution. One will be in Idaho Falls the evening of September 28 at the Snake River Event Center. The other will be in Canyon County.

U.S. Constitution class #4 -- Article 3: The Judicial Branch, PLUS the Articles of Confederation
Article 3 of the U.S. Constitution outlines the role and powers of the Judicial Branch of America's government. This is the shortest of the articles that create the three branches of government, so Jeralynne also provides an overview of the Articles of Confederation - and explains why they weren't working for the nascent nation. Her review of the Articles of Confederation provides an even deeper understanding for why certain things were written into the 1787 Constitution.

U.S. CONSTITUTION CLASS #1 -- THE DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE PLUS THE JUDEO-CHRISTIAN WORLDVIEW
To truly understand the U.S. Constitution, one must first understand the Declaration of Independence and the worldview of the Founders. Without that foundational knowledge, one does not fully understand the WHY behind the Constitution's structure.
In this video, Jeralynne Bobinski, founder of Meadowlark Academy, presents the Declaration of Independence and explains its contents line-by-line, all in an engaging, relatable, contemporary way. Then she presents the framework of the Judeo-Christian worldview held by our America's Founders, because - again - unless one understands their mindset and values, one cannot fully appreciate the content and structure of the Constitution.

Liz Cheney’s Loss, Idaho’s Abortion Law Controversies, & more
Liz Cheney loses BIG in Wyoming
Wyoming voted more for Trump than any other state, so for Liz Cheney to try to win re-election by regularly attacking Donald Trump was foolhardy. Even her father (former VP Dick Cheney) donned a cowboy hat and told Wyoming voters that Trump was a coward – pretty much sealing the fate of his daughter’s loss.
Susan Lang does jail time
Since when does an unelected and unconstitutional body have the right to create laws that result in fines and jail time? The virtue signaling board of Central District Health tried to do just that with regard to mandatory masks, and they were tone deaf to the input of citizens. Susan was arrested days after standing on the sidewalk outside Democrat Diana Lachiondo’s house and banging on a 5-gallon bucket trying to get the attention of the board. Hosts Bobinski and Gibbons discuss the asinine judicial finding and Lang’s statement on the matter.
Idaho’s Abortion Ban
A while back, the Idaho legislature passed a “trigger” law that would go into effect if Roe v. Wade were ever overturned, thus making abortion illegal in Idaho. Now that Roe v. Wade has been overturned, the Federal Gov’t is suing Idaho. Seems they like being able to kill unborn children. Multiple issues have arisen about the new law, some of them controversial – Bobinski and Gibbons discuss.
Little Brad’s Special Legislative Session
Finally, Gibbons discusses the charges that have been brought up against a former Caldwell police officer, exposing the corruption that [allegedly] has existed in that town. Bobinski and Gibbons then discussed their observations on the mentality changes occurring in law enforcement over the years.
Most Idahoans are unfamiliar with Brad Little’s ties to the big business lobbyists in the Idaho Association of Commerce and Industry and that his re-election campaign manager used to be Chief of Staff for a Democrat Senator.

Coming Food Shortages, the IRS Expansion, FBI Overreach, and the Re-Awaken America Tour
Housekeeping topics on today’s podcast include host Daniel Bobinski speaking at the upcoming Re-Awaken America Tour at Post Falls, ID on Sept. 16 & 17 (see info below), and Josh Gibbons’ “What’s Happening Idaho” podcast is now being produced in video format.
The Mar-a-Largo FBI Raid
Bobinski and Gibbons do an in-depth discussion on the FBI raid at Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Largo residence and the implications to all conservative Americans. As is evidenced by the behaviors of government agencies, every patriot is now a potential target for government harassment.
87,000 New IRS Agents
Also discussed: The IRS is hiring 87,000 new agents. Included in some of these job descriptions: The ability to arrest people, carry a firearm, and use deadly force, if necessary. The White House says these new hires will audit only the rich, but when pressed, White House spokespeople say that’s not true.
Again – people in our government are giving the public false information.
The Coming Food Shortage
Bobinski and Gibbons presented information on the coming food shortages, emphasizing that it is a serious matter, but not enough people are taking the topic seriously. Listeners are strongly encouraged to connect with food providers and build those relationships. Continuing along in status quo thinking will result in families not having the nutrients they need.
Evidence shows that people involved in the push for global governance (the Great Reset) will benefit financially from a shift away from beef. Bill Gates is encouraging wealthy countries to buy fake beef instead of real beef, but he never discloses that information.
Bobinski presented data – funded by Bill Gates – that says a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup is healthier than ground beef, and that Count Chocula cereal (compressed sugar) is healthier than a chicken breast.
Caldwell Police Officer Under Investigation
Finally, Gibbons discusses the charges that have been brought up against a former Caldwell police officer, exposing the corruption that [allegedly] has existed in that town. Bobinski and Gibbons then discussed their observations on the mentality changes occurring in law enforcement over the years.

Calling Out Reclaim Idaho, Idaho’s Propaganda Media. and Its Left-Friendly Republicans
Reclaim Idaho is working to increase Idahoans’ taxes. They are the group that used lies and deceit when promoting Medicare expansion, and they are using the same tactics to fool Idahoans into thinking a new ballot initiative (to be called Proposition 1) will not impact the average Idahoan, but only “wealthy” Idahoans – and the state’s evil, wascally corporations (even the small mom-and-pop S-corporations).
This is a typical Marxist approach that needs to be called for what it is – Hosts Daniel Bobinski and Josh Gibbons discuss.
Bobinski also reviews the purpose of True Idaho News moving forward – to counter the Propaganda Media. Bobinski and Gibbons discuss several stories in the news lately – and their authors – and how those stories present false information to Idahoans.
Also discussed: Steve Scanlin withdrew from the Democrat race against Raul Labrador for the state’s Attorney General seat. That gave the D’s a new candidate, and alleged Republican Jim Jones has come out as the campaign treasurer and possibly the campaign manager for the Democrat. Calls are being made for Jones to be removed from the Idaho Republican Hall of Fame.
Jim Jones is a key member of “Take Back Idaho.” Bobinski said that the organization’s mission statement should reveal the truth – Take Idaho back to a time when politicians can practice graft without fear of getting caught. Gibbons pointed out their tactics are deceptive and dishonest, presenting blatant misinformation to the state’s voters.

TIN Podcast #33 - Idaho's New State Republican Chair: The Dorothy Moon Interview!
Our special guest on today’s show is Dorothy Moon – the new chair of Idaho’s Republican Party! Dorothy gives us her perspective on the recent Republican state convention. She says this was the most fun convention she’s attended, but not only because she was elected chair, but because of the electricity that was in the air.
“It was just explosive,” Moon said. “There was just a lot of love in that room.” She said this was the first convention for over half of the attendees, and they were excited to be the voice for the people.
In this show, Moon shares her vision for the Party moving forward, and how wants to unite the party.
After our time with Dorothy, Josh Gibbons gives his take on what he experienced at the convention, and both him and Daniel discussed several of the issues that convention delegates

Vehicle Charging Stations, Plus ‘Statesperson’ Editorial Board is Smearing Conservatives
Idaho’s Transportation Department is seeking input regarding $28 million of your great grandchildren’s tax dollars being sent to Idaho to create Electric Vehicle charging stations every 50 miles on Idaho’s freeways.
Also, the Editorial Board of the Idaho Statesman recently wrote an editorial smearing conservative groups. This is obviously a part of a concerted nationwide effort by those in Propaganda Media to discredit and paint as “extreme” any organization that seeks to return government to Constitutional principles.
Evidence is clear that what the Editorial Board writes is either outright false or purposefully twisted and misrepresented perspectives.
Host Daniel Bobinski provides historical evidence of people who shot up a county jail in Tennessee in 1946 because of voter fraud, and nobody was charged – because the fraud was there. He also explains how Mike Pence did not correctly respond to vote count challenges that occurring during the official count on January 6 of last year.
Bobinski also pointed out how the Statesman misrepresents words and actions that occurred at the Idaho Statehouse – even challenging the Editorial Board to travel to Dearborn, Michigan to explore Islamic “no-go zones” in that city where even the police don’t go because it’s not safe for people who are not Muslim. Beyond that, Bobinski even offered to raise funds to pay their way.
Other topics Bobinski addressed:
• The right (and proper way) to protest in front of someone’s house
• The lack of emotional intelligence in the legislature’s leadership
• How the legislature tried to pass immunity legislation in an unconstitutional way
• The TRUTH of what happened and why when door glass was broken at the Capitol
• Double standards and selective enforcement of alleged threat against conservatives versus actual threats made by leftists / statists

Homelessness Fix a Fiasco in Boise, Questionable School Board Candidate, Gas Prices & More
On this week’s podcast, hosts Daniel Bobinski and Josh Gibbons talk about Idaho’s birthday (July 3) and:
Homeless in Boise – The city’s mayor seems to want Boise to become the next Portland. During her campaign, Lauren McLean deflected on the accusations that she is a Socialist (and never denied it). She’s now a proponent of the “Housing First” approach to dealing with the homelessness situation, but as Bobinski pointed out, people experienced in successfully working with homeless populations say Housing First is the absolute wrong solution. Bobinski and Gibbons discuss.
A Young School Board Candidate – an 18-year-old is running for a seat on the Boise School District Board of Trustees. Does an 18-yr-old have the wisdom to make decisions which will impact all elementary students in the district? An interesting discussion addresses this.
Gas Prices – Joe Biden tweeted that companies selling gasoline should charge only what they paid for the product. Bobinski and Gibbons rightfully mock this.
Hold the Line Conference – on August 13, from 9a – 2pm, Sean Feucht has organized the “Hold the Line” conference to encourage Christians to get involved in their government. Speakers include David J. Harris Jr. and Priscilla Giddings. Conference will be held at Harvest Church in Meridian.
Idaho’s Republican Party Convention – During July 14 – 16, Twin Falls is the site of the Republican State Convention. Party leadership will be decided, and some believe a more conservative leader for the Party should be elected to the Chair.
