Expository Study: Proverbs

This is one of those Proverbs that is not well known or understood. But the message is pretty clear and straightforward. It is a challenge using the physical example of a sloth to teach us spiritual truth. We will use my own grass cutting as a teenager for an illustration. https://bbfohio.com

The child of God should not be the source of undue strife. And if we are not "slow to anger" then we will do just that. But God's words gives us some important additional information about what is the root cause of this sin, while corrupt new Bible versions distort this teaching to the point of making Jesus out to be a sinner! You're better off having "little" as far as things and stuff is concerned WITH a Biblical "fear of the LORD" than to have all that stuff but NO fear of the LORD. That may seem obvious to a small number of Christians, but it remains an unknown or, at least, unaccepted truth to the masses of humanity running from God and chasing more "stuff". https://bbfohio.com

God's love is misrepresented and misunderstood. The way of the wicked is to remain separated from God and out of His way. Sin is a "way of life" in the way of the wicked.
