List Of Interesting Facts About Mario
Remember the Super Mario? If your childhood passed in the late 1980s - early 1990s, then, of course, this game did not pass you by. A little fat little man in overalls with recognizable black mustaches, - perhaps, the most famous character of computer games. If you too could play Super Mario for hours, you might be interested in some facts about this game. Celebrate the return of Mario and his kart with these ten curious facts about everyone's favorite plumber.
How did Mario become a mass murderer? And when did he develop a penchant for knitting?
The first Super Mario game was developed and released by the Japanese company Nintendo in September 1985. The character of Mario is older than the game: he was created by Japanese designer Shigeru Miyamoto and first appeared in the arcade Donkey Kong in 1981. It was actually to be a game about Popeye rescuing Olive but things did not go very well, actually, they became even greater than that! The frame of the game was taken from the game Donkey Kong. The character Mario is an Italian plumber in the Mushroom Kingdom, and his mission is the rescue of the princess. He is often helped by Luigi's younger brother. It is possible that Miyamoto took the name of Mario's brother from the name of the pizzeria "At Mario and Luigi", located next to the Nintendo office in Redmond, Washington. Despite the fact that Luigi is the youngest of the brothers, he is almost a head above in height over Mario's. This often happens, doesn't it?
The character of the game was not always called Mario. Originally he was called Ossan, which means "middle-aged man" in Japanese. Then his name changed to Mr. Video, the Jumper Man and finally came to Mario, after the creator's landlord!
Initially, Super Mario was an action game in which the character flew on a rocket, fired a laser cannon and a gun. Some elements are taken from another popular action Nintendo game - the Legend of Zelda. Both games were developed by Miyamoto himself and have similar motives (for example, in both games fiery sticks appear). There are more than 256 hidden levels in the game.
The mushrooms in the game were copied from Amanita Muscaria, and simply - from fly agaric, which, to all other things, can have a psychotropic effect on a person: you see things bigger or smaller from what they really are.
The soundtrack to the game, also known as Ground Theme, is one of the most recognizable melodies in the history of computer games. This simple theme, written by Koji Kondo, remained in the ringtone charts for 125 weeks.
Super Mario Bros is the best-selling video game in history: it sold about 300 million game cartridges around the world. In Super Mario Bros 3, the action takes place on islands, the shape of which resembles Japan. The castle is located on the site of Kyoto, the hometown of Nintendo.
Times change, the fashion and the new technologies and games come and go, but such a modest and unpretentious action game as "Super Mario Bros" will forever remain the best memory for those whose childhood was in the difficult nineties.

Facts About The Moon One Should Always Remember
With plans to have man set foot on the Moon again in 2019, we thought you'd enjoy 10 incredible facts about the moon.
First of all, when Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin first landed on the Moon in 1969, they left a variety of stuff there. One of those items was Yuri Gagarin’s cosmonaut medal.
There are 160 missing rocks from the Apollo 11 and 17 missions; 0.2 grams of lunar dust was sold at an auction for staggering $442.500. Who needs such expensive dust?
Out of all the insane marketing tactics, Pizza Hut takes the crown with their idea to place their logo on the Moon using lasers back in 1999! They abandoned the idea when they were told the logo would have to be the size of the state of Texas, which is 268,597 square miles. Talk about space-age advertising!
When Apollo 12 crashed a 2.5-ton empty Lunar module on the Moon’s surface, it rang like a bell for an hour, hinting at underground structures.
The Moon also has rainbows on its surface, only they’re called moonbows. They appear when the light hits the surface, although they seem white to the naked eye.
The most unusual fact about the Moon is that scientists still have absolutely no idea how it was formed. It could have just dropped into orbit, or a Mars-sized rock could have crashed into our planet, forming the Moon.
There, we know more about the moon now. But what about other celestial bodies? Luckily, we now can learn together with NASA's TESS Spacecraft.
As science and technology continue to improve, we are finding new ways to discover the universe. NASA, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, is responsible for aeronautics and aerospace research. This video discusses their new TESS spacecraft! TESS is actually a planet-hunting satellite and actually stands for Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite. Recently this summer, it began searching the universe and stars for exoplanets. An exoplanet is a planet that is outside the Sun’s solar system and orbits another star. These exoplanets can have many different features, big giant gas planets bigger than Jupiter, rocky planets such as earth, boiling hot planets, freezing cold, planets that orbit 2 suns, and even ones whose year last only 2 days!
TESS’s main focus is the closer stars that are much brighter. Since the focus will be on closer stars and exoplanets, scientists can research these more efficiently. The farther and more distant stars are harder to research because of the lack of information and data on them. With this new focus on closer stars, these scientists can gather more useful information!
TESS’s mission will last more than 2 years and hopefully is expected to find more than 1500 exoplanets! That is some pretty good numbers for a 2-year mission! It actually launched in April of 2018 as a test to see how well it did. It sent back its first image in a month and they decided to fully send it off for its 2-year mission a couple months later! NASA has been working extremely hard on their research and it is very amazing seeing their research in action. This video will be sure to inform you on their new mission and hopefully we will hear about the amazing results in 2 years’ time!
How crazy is that! Be sure to check AllTime10s other videos for more unusual lists.

Ten Things That Happen When A Human Dies
We might not all agree about what happens in the afterlife, but we can be certain about the science behind death. Watch the clip to find out the 10 Things That Will Happen After We Die.
Apparently, you get eaten by enzymes since within three days of death enzymes used for digestion begin to eat you. Stomach bacteria eats cells ruptured by increased acidity levels caused by CO2 build-up. What happens when death is coming is truly something!
Another creepy thing is that skin cells live on for several days after days. Brain cells die after just three minutes of oxygen starvation while muscle cells survive for several hours. When the heart stops pumping gravity pulls red blood cells to the body’s lowest part. Congealed blood causes purple patches which coroners use to ascertain time of death.
Some bodies will develop a soap-like wax if in contact with cold soil or water. Adipocere is natural preservative formed as bacteria breaks down tissue. The body turns green after death as bacteria in bowel walls moves into the skin. It takes three to four days for hemoglobin caused by decomposition to cause the green tinge.
Organs with the greatest blood supply liquify. Mix with blood and seep from bodily orifices. As the fluid builds up pressure breaks down the abdominal wall flooding the body. Bodies decompose twice as fast in water than on land and eight times quicker than a buried body. Skin on bodies left in water will begin to ‘deglove’ falling from the body in thick sheets.
Bacteria in the body creates a foul-smelling gas that causes bloating. The abdomen, scrotum, breasts and tongue swell up while eyes bulge out. A build-up of gases can expel a fetus from the decomposing body of a deceased pregnant woman causing the body to swell. The pressure pushes the womb and baby from the body.
Muscle contraction caused by rigor mortis around the scrotum can lead to an erection, commonly seen after hanging as the noose places pressure on the cerebellum.
What did you think of these weird things that happen to the human body after death? Did they make you reconsider to reconsider your life decisions or realize that you have a better way to live your life? Think twice and make wise choices. We only have one body and we need to take good care of it if we want to lead a long, healthy life!
Talking about death, you should also check out this video that discusses the causes of death that are most common around the world. Did you know that these are the most common causes of death in men? Fortunately these kind of videos make us reconsider our life decisions and improve our health condition!
What do you think about this video? Make sure you tell us more in the comments down below. If you like what you see, don’t forget to share it with others who might like it as well. It just might be the highlight of their day and help them start leading a better life before it’s too late!

9. Americo Lopes worked for a construction company and pooled money together with his colleagues to buy Mega Millions lottery tickets. One day Lopes found that one of the tickets had won $38.5m. They sued him and the court ordered him to share his money 5 ways.
8. Denise decided to divorce Thomas after 26 years of marriage, because she won the Lotto jackpot of $1.3m, 11 days before. When Thomas mistakenly received a letter addressed to her about the lottery winnings two years later he sued her. The judge and jury gave Thomas every last cent of the haul.

6. Jose Antonio Cua-Toc won $750,000. He was delighted, but worried about his legal immigrant status being discovered, he asked his boss, Erick Cervantes, to cash it for him. Cervantes claimed the ticket was his and kept all the money and Cua-Toc filed a lawsuit. Cua-Toc won the money back, but due to his citizenship status he faced deportation.
5. Evelyn Adams won the New Jersey lottery TWICE in the space of 4 months accumulating a total of $5.4m. Years later it was reported that she was little to no money and lives in a trailer park.
4. Christina Goodenow bought a lottery ticket that ended up being worth $1m but she had bought the ticket using her deceased mother-in law's credit card. When the police found out, she was stripped of all the money and sentenced to probation.

2. John Ross Jr. won $2m in California's lottery and said that he was going to buy his own car. Three months later, Ross Jr. was arrested for supposedly helping to steal a Honda Civic.
1. Two unnamed brothers won the Kansas lottery receiving $75,000. They celebrated by having a weed and crystal meth-fueled party at their house, but accidently the house caught on fire. When firefighters and police got there they could see the amount of narcotics present and arrested them both for possession.

Learn About The 10 Most Dangerous Insects In The World
We all have our fears. Most of us are afraid of bugs, while others get scared by snakes or sharks. Imagine noticing the grossest, hairiest, most nightmarish-looking centipede you have ever seen inches away from your lunch box. How would you react?
Would you scream like a banshee and call someone in hysterics or would you finally get yourself together and gather enough bravery to squash the beastly bug with the first thing that gets to your hands?
If you hate bugs this much, here is a good reason not to kill them. Yes, you read it right. According to entomologists, different bugs have different roles in the circle of life. Some of them transmit very deadly diseases, so killing them on your own might not seem like a smart idea. If you happen to be fascinated by insects, here are 10 extremely dangerous insects.
The Bullet Ant’s sting is so painful it feels like being shot. Many people believe that this tiny insect possesses the most painful sting known to man.
A Botfly larva can burrow into the skin of their host and remain inside for weeks. You can feel them moving while they are inside their raised pustules.
Fleas are one of the most common parasites that get caught on your skin. While sucking the blood out of the animal, they can spread numerous deadly diseases.
The Kissing Bugs usually bite their victims during the night in the area around their lips or eyes. These deadly creatures spread the Chagas disease which is the reason for the deaths of over 12,000 people every year.
The bite of a Giant Japanese Hornet can cause intense pain, while its venom can dissolve human tissue. Imagine turning into human pudding!
We all have heard about Fire Ants. They are an aggressive species, whose sting causes red welts and pustules. In some rare cases, the sting of a Fire Ant can actually kill you.
Tse Tse Flies are large flies that suck your blood. This way they can spread sleeping sickness, which kills people in Africa on a regular basis.
You wonder which insects are on the top of this list? We invite you to keep watching the video, but brace yourself because it’s the one we all hate.

List Of Top 10 Interesting Facts About The Solar System
Think Mercury is the hottest planet in the Solar System? Think again. Find out which planet is superheated, along with these 10 other incredible facts about the Solar System.
#10 The Sun makes up 99.86 % of the Solar System’s mass. The sun’s gravity is the majority force for 2 light years, nearly halfway to the nearest star. The Sun is It is by far the most important source of energy for life on Earth.
#9 There are 5 dwarf planets: Haumea, Ceres, Pluto, Eris, and Makemake. with the exceptionofCeres, which is located in the asteroid belt, the otherdwarf planetsare found in the outer solar system. Vulcan was a false dwarf planet created to explain away irregularities in Mercury’s orbit.
#8 Jupiter, Uranus, and Neptune all have rings, too thin and dark to see it from Earth. Saturn has 53 Moons, 2 are within its rings, controlling ring f’s movements. Saturn is the sixth planet from the Sun and the second-largest in the Solar System, after Jupiter.
#7 Saturn’s moon Enceladus has a cryovolcano, blasting water into space. Caused by Saturn’s gravity, heating an underground ocean on the moon. Saturnis a gas giant and is composed of similar gasses including hydrogen, helium, and methane.
#6 There are 535,000 minor planets measuring over 1km across, 3000 are registered each month. Each member of ‘Monty Python’ has one named after them. Minor planetscan be dwarfplanets, asteroids, trojans, centaurs, Kuiper belt objects, and other trans-Neptunian objects.
#5 We actually live within the atmosphere of the sun, in an area called corona. The Northern lights are evidence of this, created by Solar winds. The materialinthecorona is an extremely hot but very tenuous plasma.
#4 A huge asteroid hit mercury, creating a 1300 km crater, called the Caloris Basin. The shock wave wrinkled the crust on the opposite side of Mercury, creating hills. We only know what half of the crater looks like because the other half was in darkness when Mariner 10 flew by the planet.
#3 Mercury is not the hottest planet in the Solar System, its lack of atmosphere prevents heat being trapped. Venus, however, reaches temperatures of 465 degrees. Mercuryis the hottest planet because it has anatmosphere made ofcarbon dioxide; it also has clouds of acid inside itsatmosphere. This is called the greenhouse effect.
#2 Volcanoes or asteroids can sometimes blast rock from Mars towards Earth normally landing in Antarctica or the Sahara, the eldest dates back 4.5BN years. Theasteroidsareorbiting the Sun, each one traveling around theSunfast enough for theorbitsnot to degrade.
#1 Earth spins on its axis at 460m/sec, orbits the Sun at 30km/sec and whirls around the galaxy center at 220km/sec. Earth rotatesonce in about 24 hours with respect to the Sun, but once every 23 hours, 56 minutes, and 4 seconds with respect to the stars.
