A Hotel Hanging Off A Cliff Demands Only Brave Guests
Just in case you have never dared to do this, there are 900 meters high hotels that have rooms hanging off a cliff. Take a look at this video and see what it looks like to stay in the world’s most dangerous hotel.
Indonesia has just joined the adventure hotel industry with new "rooms" that are not for guests afraid of heights. Have you ever wondered what is like to sleep in an eagles nest? Well, this hotel room offers you that particular height and view!
Located in Purwakarta, Indonesia, the Skylodge adventure hotel is just a two-hour drive from Jakarta. The trick to get to your room is simple. You have to climb at least 500 meters up at a 60-degree incline. Guests climb via ferrata, a latter-like framework made of iron. The rooms hang precipitously off the side of a mountain. It’s not unlike camping, visitors say, except for the fact that you’re hanging from a rock cliff, 500 meters above the ground. And the bathroom is Different! Haha!
For people who like to travel abroad and live on the edge, quite literally, there is always a room with a view in the Skylodge hotel. For only $300, you can get a room with air conditioning, WI-FI, a toilet and breakfast. There are 10 rooms available in the hotel and more to come after the grand opening.
Are you fascinated? You can check out the video footage of what the entire experience looks like and see if you are ready to take such a challenge!

The Revolutionary Concept Of Leasing A Pair Of Jeans: The Selfless Jeans
"One of the most beautiful moments was when we were lying down in the grass. I’m going to miss you. You were my favorite."
People love their jeans. They have become very deeply integrated in our culture of living that we cannot even imagine our world without them.
But have you ever thought of a concept where you do not own but lease ‘your’ jeans?
MUD Jeans is a Dutch denim company that has thought of a brand new concept called ‘The Selfless Jeans’, which is word play on a Richard Dawkin’s book on evolution. And what a revolutionary concept it really is!
"Today I’m wearing a sweater made from 100% waste. Consumers really want this, but a lot of companies aren’t offering it," says Bert van Son, the Concept Founder MUD Jeans.
"There are so many reasons for leasing your jeans at MUD. One of the main being that you can return them after you’re done with them and it seems like a new item every time. I love it! And I like to feel like I’m part of a good cause. When you begin leasing, you sign an agreement stating you solemnly swear to return the jeans if you are no longer wearing them," says one customer.
There’s a huge pressure to produce new things every day. Leasing your jeans means that certain resources are returned to the production cycle. 1.5 billion jeans are sold annually worldwide. 1 pair of recycled jeans uses 80% less water and 60 % less CO2.
Leasing jeans is a way of consuming goods without owning them. The principle is getting more and more followers. Their goal is not only to make profit but also to contribute to humankind and nature and hope to be a model for the fashion industry.

See What Message This Young Woman Has For Her Generation
What do the voices of our generation have to say about say about life, people and the world we are living in?
This is what one young woman has to say:
“I love fashion. Who doesn’t love fashion? I think fashion is really important to everybody because it is a really great way to express yourself.
There’s needs and there’s wants, right? So I think what we all need most is to not be so engrossed in social media and the media and what it portrays. But I feel that people like that, as opposed to need it. But I suppose it has become a bit of a need, and a bit of a thing where people don’t put their phone down because they are so on Instagram and Twitter, looking at people that are skinnier than them, and comparing themselves.
I think there’s a lot of people in this world that enjoy bad things. From corruption and people in higher power and how poor people remain poor and rich people remain rich. I think there is a lot that goes wrong in this world, and I really strongly feel for world peace. If I was in a position of power, that would be the one thing I’d try to achieve.
I would say my message for my generation is to learn to be happy and comfortable in your own skin. Know that you don’t have to look a certain way to be happy, or you don’t have to be in a certain occupation or have certain dreams. Just believe in yourself and follow it through, whatever that might be.”

This Woman Goes Grocery Shopping In The Oldest Clothes In The World
Meet Zhiluo Gao who is awakening a 3500 year old Dynasty with her dressing and hairstyle. Zhiluo is Chinese from Luoyang living in Kyoto, a very modern city in Japan. However, in her Hanfu wardrobe she looks like an ancient goddess trapped in this modern world.
She is obsessed with Hanfu, she wears it at home, she wears it when she goes out, because she feels that Hanfu is wearable anywhere and anytime. Hanfu is the traditional clothing of the Han nationality. It’s endowed with rich historical and cultural meaning.
People often comment on Zhiluo’s clothes when they see her strolling down the streets and believe that it is super cute, and that she looks like a high-ranking aristocrat. The Hanfu clothing makes her stand out from the crowd.
When she was nine-years-old, she started learning the traditional Chinese instrument ‘Pipa’ and she would often perform in ancient style costumes, starting to understand and appreciate the style. After that she fell in love for the beauty of Hanfu and regularly spends a quarter of her salary on Hanfu.
She doesn’t think that wearing a Hanfu is that much different to wearing modern, casual clothes every day. It is good that her husband supports her passion for Hanfu and even wears Hanfu to hang out with her. When she wants to experiment new hairstyles, he lets her practice on his hair. What a supporting husband! Beauty is what makes you comfortable and free, concludes Zhiluo.

Your Scars Are Not Your Flaws, They Are Part Of Your Personal History
“People consider scars as flaws when actually they are part of someone’s history.”
Sophie Mayanne is a 24 years old photographer, the creator of the “Behind the Scars” photography series and she is trying to change the way people view the human body with her stunning captures of people and their scars.
“My scars are self-inflicted. I was diagnosed with bi-polar and severe depression when I was 14. So many people have different kinds of scars and bringing them together makes you feel that everybody has their own battles, everybody’s fought something. It just brings everybody together and, kind of, just makes everybody like a big family,” a participant said.
The project celebrates scars of all shapes and sizes and the stories behind them. The participants can write as much as they want about the story behind their scar. Some prefer to write more about their emotions and their relationships with their scar, whereas other people give more factual stories. All that is left up to the person.
“My scars come from when I was a kid and was treated for a rare condition called chronic thrombo-embolic pulmonary hypertension, that requires multiple open-heart surgeries to fix. We are all so similar in the amount of struggles that we have been through, and despite all the hardships we have went through, we are all united, no matter who we are,” said another one.
This calls for a change of society’s perception of bodies, but it’s not something that will happen overnight. Hopefully, it will create a domino effect and reach a larger auditorium. Sophie’s camera provides a platform for people to share their experiences and stories to other people in a really positive way.
