The Cincinnati Bengals practiced outside in the rain on Monday, instead of going inside their new practice bubble.

Matthew 25 will deploy a team to the island later this week. It’s nothing new to the organization, which has responded to disasters all across the world already this year — from flooding in Fort Lauderdale to earthquakes in Syria and Turkey.

The new facility will have meeting spaces, a lounge area, gym space and more for local veterans.

Bryce Stewart would have started his junior year at Carroll County High School on Wednesday. A family friend said he was at a friend's house at the time of the shooting. His friend's father was arrested.

Mixon is accused of waving a gun at a woman in January and is facing an aggravated menacing charge. The trial began Monday afternoon, where the judge determined the proceedings would not be allowed to be live streamed; in addition, every witness testifying opted out of audio and video recording, so none of their testimonies could be filmed. Mixon allegedly pointed a firearm at a woman and stated, "You should be popped in the face. I should shoot you, the police can't (sic) get me," according to court documents.

It's a special first day of school for some Tri-State students. That's because next year, their schools won't exist. All of St. Bernard’s Elmwood Place City Schools will be under one roof in one school. The school district is combining both elementary schools and the high school into one Pre-K through 12th grade building. “It’s going to be both exciting and kind of a relief to have our kids in there under one roof and be a tightened roof,” said St. Bernard - Elmwood Place High School Principal Bret Bohannon.

Bengals running back Joe Mixon is expected to be in court Monday for the start of his trial. He's accused of waiving a gun at a woman in January and is facing an aggravated menacing charge. The offense allegedly happened the day before Cincinnati took on the Buffalo Bills in the divisional round of the playoffs in the 2022 season.

The Red Bull Flugtag will have roughly 40 teams aiming to take the air over the waters of the Ohio River on Saturday in the hopes their homemade flying devices soar, not sink. Teams of up to five people, bearing names like Cincy Til I Fly, Weenie Hut Jr., and Arabian Flights, will put their human-powered flying machines to the test at Sawyer Point Park & Yeatman's Cove.

Kentucky State Police investigators said on March 12, after pursuing 22-year-old Ryan Mitchell across the river, Savage failed to render aid and kept driving after Mitchell crashed off the side of a two-lane road. Mitchell was found dead at the scene, his car fully engulfed, KSP said. Savage resigned from his position with the Ripley Police Department on May 26, the day the indictment came down.

Police said Miquan Barfield was arrested following a police chase. He is accused of murdering Nia Booker, who was nine months pregnant at the time of the shooting. Her baby survived.
