The legal memo, “Potential Paths of Federal Incursion Into District Law Enforcement,” focused on whether the Insurrection Act would allow a president to take control of the MPD. The document, the existence of which has not previously been reported, also contemplated the possibility of the White House using the National Guard and federal law enforcement agencies such as the US Marshals Service and the Bureau of Prisons to effectively secure the safety of all Americans. It is an interesting coincidence if you believe in coincidences, that Trump is down at the Alamo as thousands of troops take over the swamp.

Lansing, Michigan - Ahead of possible protests Lansing Police, Michigan State Police and the National Guard are all out today patrolling the streets surrounding the Capitol in Lansing, Michigan. The city looks like a war zone as hundreds of members of the National Guard were seen unloading rifles, shields and other riot gear. Also, big numbers of Humvee's are lined up outside the Michigan State Capitol as protests are expected later today.

People who were on the grounds for the inauguration rehearsal had to leave. Shortly after the first videos appeared online the following statement was made by DC and EMS: "#DCsBravest responded to an outside fire in the 100 block of H St SE that has been extinguished. There were no injuries. This accounts for smoke that many have seen." Later the U.S. Secret Service also gave an update about the situation: "Public safety and law enforcement responded to a small fire in the area of 1st and F streets SE, Washington, D.C. that has been extinguished. Out of an abundance of caution the U.S. Capitol complex was temporarily shutdown. There is no threat to the public"

(Jan. 23), ended in a bizar violent clash between Russian police and supporters of Putin's arrested opponent Aleksei Navalny. Navalny had called on his supporters to protest on Saturday after being arrested last weekend as he returned to Russia from Germany for the first time since being poisoned with a nerve agent he says was applied to his underpants by state security agents in August. The authorities had warned people to stay away from the protests, saying they risked catching COVID-19 as well as prosecution and possible jail time for attending an unauthorised event. But protesters defied the ban and bitter cold and turned out in force. The OVD-Info protest monitor group said at least 2,131 people – including 300 in the capital, Moscow and 162 in Saint Petersburg – had been detained across Russia, a number likely to rise. It reported arrests at rallies in nearly 70 towns and cities.

WASHINGTON, USA — The Biden administration say they are worried about an insider attack or other threat from service members involved in securing President-elect Joe Biden’s inauguration, prompting the FBI to vet all of the 25,000 National Guard troops coming into Washington for the event. The massive undertaking reflects the extraordinary security concerns that have gripped Washington following the deadly Jan. 6 insurrection at the U.S. Capitol by pro-Trump rioters. And it underscores fears that some of the very people assigned to protect the city over the next several days could present a threat to the incoming president and other VIPs in attendance. Biden’s transition team has revealed there is a very real fear that members of the national guard who support President Trump might kill Biden during the inauguration so they’ve asked commanders to confiscate all ammo and magazines from the soldiers.
