Chaos going on with Utah Lt. Governor Henderson, whose office had to unredact her private text messages with a hostile reporter about Jen's public records request. Henderson has intervened in Jen & Sophie's election data lawsuit and has the Attorney General's office trying to get it immediately dismissed. State Records Committee has suddenly skirted their own process to deny Jen the ability to present her case against Lt. Gov after Salt Lake County serves Jen & SRC with a lawsuit to prevent Jen from getting access to public records about election issues without cost, which state code encourages for broadcasting to the public. The original requests were almost $100,000 (illegal rates which Jen had them overturn to a more reasonable ~$4,000). Utah Gov Cox office is finally admitting that he uses email, and Jen & Sophie are hoping to get some of those regarding the election soon. Jen & Sophie share insights into the documents they obtained showing the ES&S voting machine coverup of 2019-2020. The DS200 machines are NOT certifiable with modems that can be enabled or disabled. Instead of correcting the problem, the federal agency EAC (Election Assistance Commission) hand slaps ES&S by having them "update" their materials and asking them to send a letter letting the counties know it "wasn't their intention" to mislead by stating the decertification. EAC had ES&S send letters to all counties notifying them, but so far no records have been found to confirm if this happened or not. If not notified, ES&S has some problems to address. If they did notify the counties, then how much responsibility for this lies on counties who still used those machines? This board also courageously recognized that the Lt Gov does not have the power to make or interpret law and that her "opinions" do not matter in their decision. WAY TO GO, Weber County! Jen & Sophie explain the latest update in the never-ending struggle to get election emails from Salt Lake County clerk's office. Jen's Aug. 2021 public records requests for election info came with a price tag of almost $100,000.... after numerous appeals, SLCo admitted the price charged was "excessive." Jen's appeals made the illegal fees PERMANENTLY reduced (about 90% less once adjusted to legal rates), as well as got the formula for calculating time spent per email adjusted permanently. Because of broadcasts and public support for election integrity, the State Records Committee agreed that Jen should receive the records without charge because of their broadcast and social media support. Salt Lake County, who repeatedly tried to dismiss the case during the process, has now filed a lawsuit against Jen and State Records to prevent this from happening. Utah citizen Mike Brown, who already has been criminally charged by his school board for calmly using the district's own organizational chart to show that parents rights for their children supersede the board's, now finds himself again being removed from a public meeting—a Senate bill hearing.
