Trump Wins Big In Court, But Will It Be Enough To Keep Him on the Ballot?
Lawsuits in several states have attempted to keep President Donald Trump off the ballot. Their argument is predicated on the 14th Amendment, which states that states no person can hold high office that, "shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same."
The Left claims that President Trump engaged an insurrection against the United States.
Yet, court after court (the latest being in Michigan,) has ruled that this argument does not fly.
It's a big win for Trump. But will it stop those who want to keep him from running for president again?
Cornell Law Professor William Jacobson explains. Plus, what is the latest antisemitic madness happening on college campuses.

Jamaal Bowman: ‘Calling for a Ceasefire…Uplifting Deeply What It Actually Means To Be Jewish’
BOWMAN: “And I’ve heard what was said here this evening before, that by me calling for a ceasefire with my colleagues and centering humanity, I am uplifting deeply what it actually means to be Jewish. Because I’m centering the way in which God wants us to live with each other. So, I feel grateful to be standing here.”

New Day. Same Border Crisis. Sen. Mike Braun Reports on the Stalemate in Congress
When will we see action on the Southern border?
We see plenty of action: human trafficking, fentanyl and drug running, border patrol agents stretched so thin they can't do their job, politicos giving lip service. Lots of action, indeed.
But when do we get to an honest plan that addresses all of the issues? Hell, even some of the issues?
Indiana Sen. Mike Braun was at the border recently, and gives a report on not only what is happening there...but what isn't happening in DC.

Biden: ‘A Lot’ of Palestinians Are ‘Just Thugs’
Biden: “This lawlessness that takes place although initially generated by a — a — a — a — a ideological group, Hamas or whatever, you also it spawns just lawlessness generally. And what you have now in the Pales — among the Palestinians, there are a lot of just thugs, just plain old criminals, who are able to roam and reach in a way that they wouldn’t if, in fact, there was a Palestinian government that had the capacity to maintain order on their streets.”

Kennedy to Mayorkas: ‘You Are Not Qualified to Manage the Costco Food Court'
MAYORKAS: “Our administration has pursued a comprehensive strategy to manage this unprecedented migration. Our strategy includes expanded lawful pathways for migration, strengthened consequences for unlawful entry at the border, removing a record number of individuals found to be ineligible for protection under the law, and increased partnership across the region to curb irregular migration.”
HYDE-Smith: “So, the — the situation at the border, you’re saying, is not a disaster?”
MAYORKAS: “That is correct”
>> KENNEDY: Now, in 2023, this is senator hoven’s chart, how many — what percentage of the illegal immigrants who came across the southern border were not from Mexico? Do you know?
>> MAYORKAS: Senator I know third country nationals has been on the increase.
>> KENNEDY: What percentage — you don’t know, do you? It is 71%! Are people who are not from Mexico. So if we had a safe third country policy, that means that 71% of the 8.4 million people that you have allowed to come into our country illegally, let me be conservative and use 6.6 million, because they — the 8.4 includes got a ways. 71% of the 6.6 million people that you have allowed into our country illegally would not be hurt in a way. They could claim asylum from political, religious or racial persecution but they would have to do it in another country and more than likely Mexico. Is that not the case?
>> MAYORKAS: Senator that is inaccurate and incomplete.
>> KENNEDY: Did you not say when we last spoke and we propose that, is on it was a bad policy.
>> MAYORKAS: Senator let me share a prerequisite to a safe third country agreement and that is
>> KENNEDY: No, I am almost out of time and I’m not can I let you filibuster.
>> MAYORKAS: Senator I have to say.
>> KENNEDY: I am just not going to let you do it. It is my time madam chair and I will use it the way I want. Here is where you let others go on. I think you are a smart guy. Only one or two things going on here. Either you are not qualified to manage the Costco food court or you believe in open borders. And I think it's the latter.
>> Senator Kennedy, your time has expired.
>> Number one you are 0 for 2 on that. You are inaccurate in both respects number one and I would like to let the record reflect that 60 minutes is not 45 minutes because I can’t seem to answer a question without being interrupted.
>> KENNEDY: Well if you would answer a question —
>> Thank you very much, Madame chair. I appreciate the recognition.

Student's Emotional Testimony on what it’s like to be a Conservative on College Campuses
Jordan: “... became in the club, the more I discovered that the playing field for freedom of speech on college campuses was not equalized. The first time I noticed this was when Iowa YAF hosted Kellyanne Conway as a speaker. In response, I was doxxed in a group chat of over 800 students, and was falsely labeled as a Nazi, a token, a white supremacist, and a bigot. Some individuals even expressed that I made them uncomfortable and fear that I might commit a hate crime against them, simply because I’m black and hold conservative principles. These students believe that if you are conservative, you are hateful, support oppression, and only one benefit straight white men even though such beliefs are untrue.”

Netanyahu: ‘There Would Be a Ceasefire’ if Hamas Releases Hostages
>> NETANYAHU: First of all, let me say that I deeply appreciate, as do the entire people of Israel, President Biden’s and the American government and the American people’s support for Israel with great moral clarity. I think there’s a — the question of a cease-fire, the president himself has said that a cease-fire would be a surrender to Hamas. It would be a victory for Hamas, and he would no more have it than he would have a cease-fire after the al qaeda bombings of the world trade center.
>> MUIR: I know the Biden Administration has also said now is not the time for a cease-fire. What they’re proposing is a humanitarian pause. There will be no pause?
>> NETANYAHU: Well, there will be no cease-fire, general cease-fire in Gaza without the release of our hostages. As far as tactical little pauses, an hour here, an hour there, we’ve had them before. I suppose we’ll check the circumstances in order to enable goods, humanitarian goods, to come in or individual hostages to leave. But I don’t think there’s going to be a general cease-fire. It’s not that I don’t think. I think it will hamper the war effort. It will hamper our effort to get our hostages out because the only thing that works on these criminals and Hamas is the military pressure that we’re exert exerting.
>> MUIR: If Hamas agrees to release the hostages, then there would be a pause?
>> NETANYAHU: Well, there would be a cease-fire for that purpose, and we’re waiting for that to happen. It hasn’t happened so far.

Ilham Omar and Cori Bush OUTRAGED over Censure of Rashida Tlaib

>>BUSH: “St. Louis and I rise today in opposition to this censure resolution, and also on opposition to the reckless manner that people in this House speak when they don’t realize or don’t care that they put targets on the backs of actual people, most of whom are black and brown, because of a lack of care and the lack of understanding, and a lack of seeing the humanity of folks who look like Rashida Tlaib. It’s outrageous that my colleagues are blatantly, blatantly attempting to silence the only Palestinian American representative right here. It’s outrageous, but it’s not surprising. And let me tell you, it’s not surprising because this place is where 1,700 members of Congress, this elected body, enslaved black people. It’s not surprising because they thought it was right. It’s not surprising because this is the place where members can tell you, to claim that the insurrection on the Capitol just appeared to look like a normal tourist visit! It’s not surprising because this is the place where our black and brown staff members repeatedly speak of experiencing racism and sexism, Islamophobia, get pushed off the elevators, xenophobia, and more right here in this workplace. This is the place, and let me say this: She mourns for the 1,400 Israelis —“

UNKNOWN: “Gentleman from Maryland is recognized.”
BUSH: "I said what I said."
>>TLAIB: “— and anti-Semitism makes us all less safe, and worry that your own child might suffer the horrors that six-year-old Wadea did in Illinois. I can’t believe I have to say this, but Palestinian people are not disposable. We are human beings just like anyone else. My sissy, my grandmother, like all Palestinians, just wants to live her life with freedom and human dignity we all deserve. Speaking up to save lives, Mr. Chair, no matter faith, no matter ethnicity, should not be controversial in this chamber. The cries of the Palestinian and Israeli children sound no different to me. Why — what I don’t understand is why the cries of Palestinians sound different to you all. We cannot lose our shared humanity, Mr. Chair.”

Bill Maher SLAMS Progressives for Anti-Semitism: ‘You’re the Ones with the Tiki Torches Now!’
MAHER: “I don’t know where this comes from. I guess it’s ancient. Obviously, the hatred of the Jews goes way back. But I was taken aback by this.”
BREMMER: “You can’t tell me you don’t think social media made it much worse.”
MAHER: “I — so you think that’s the answer? Because it’s gotta be something about the Jews themselves, because there are other people around the world who are oppressed. There are other colonized places — not that Israel colonized anything. But why this one place? Why does this arouse, especially among young people, I mean, young people who hated Trump because he wouldn’t to condemn the people with the tiki torches talking about the Jews, but you are the ones with the tiki torches now!”

Jayapal: Israel Will Only ‘Radicalize’ Palestinians with Death of Innocent Civilians
JAYAPAL: "I don’t think the question is about whether we should allow Israel to take out Hamas and whether all the international allies would be in favor of taking out Hamas. That is absolutely true. The question is how to do that. And there is increasing toll, both with civilians in Gaza, you know, violence in the West Bank, but also a question of whether, when you kill thousands and thousands of Palestinians and thousands of children and you bomb refugee camps, even if you are taking out some Hamas leaders — and it is unclear to me exactly who is being taken out, but let’s say you are — the reality is, if you keep doing that, you will radicalize the population and another Hamas will arise. Most of the top leaders of Hamas are not even in Gaza, they’re in other countries. And so I think we have to be clear that we need a cease-fire. And when I say cease-fire, I understand that you can’t ever have a permanent cease-fire. That’s not really realistic. But what you do is you call for a cease-fire. It is a negotiated settlement, which is why I say that you can at least have a cessation of hostilities immediately. But I do think that we need to recognize that this crisis is not going to end and Hamas is not going to be taken out unless there is a political situation that allows both Israelis and Palestinians to co-exist with self-determination next to each other. And that is something that can’t happen while Israel is continuing to bomb and kill innocent civilians in Gaza.”

‘I Don’t Want My Family’s Name Associated with the University of Pennsylvania Ever’
ROSS SORKIN: “I know you’re a major benefactor to the University of Pennsylvania — “
EISMAN: “I wouldn’t say major.”
ROSS SORKIN: “You’re a significant benefactor to the University of Pennsylvania, I believe you got involved in this larger debate about what’s happening at universities right now.”
EISMAN: “Yes.”
ROSS SORKIN: “What’s going on?”
EISMAN: “Well, I mean, your interview with Marc Rowan woke me up a bit. My history with the University of Pennsylvania is pretty deep. I went there, my wife went there, we met there. My sister went there, my brother-in-law went there, and they met there. A lot of members of my family have been there. I’ve gone back to the university many times to speak. After — after the interview, I called my contact person at the university and I said, ‘You know, we have a small scholarship that we created about a dozen years ago.’ I called my contact and I said I wanted our names removed from it immediately. I do not want my family’s name associated with the University of Pennsylvania, ever.”
QUICK: “What was the response?”
EISMAN: “She was very nice. She understood. She’s gotten a lot of calls like that. And she said she would take care of it.”
QUICK: “Is there anything they could do to change your mind?”
EISMAN: “Yeah, you could fire the president and the chairman of the board of trustees immediately.”
ROSS SORKIN: “I believe they’re having a board meeting today.”
EISMAN: “Well, I doubt they’ll do anything. That’s the only thing that would even move me at all.”
ROSS SORKIN: “Steve — go ahead.”
QUICK: “I mean, this is something that’s played out again and again. Larry Summers pointed to a letter that came to the association of university heads of Israel today, with a long letter they have, that’s out, just talking about how there should be no moral equivalency when you look at a nation defending itself versus terrorist attacks that come through.”
EISMAN: “Let me just say one thing. You know, one of the things that the protesters are saying — one of the things I really sincerely believe is that when people tell you who they are, you should believe them. The protesters, their slogan is ‘Free Palestine from the river to the sea.’ The river is the Jordan River, and the sea is the Mediterranean. Free Palestine from the river to the sea means ‘Get rid of all the Jews.’ You know, the Nazis had a different way of saying it, it was ‘Judenrein,’ ‘No Jews.’ What we have in the protesters right now, dressed up in the clothing of progressivism, is pure hatred of Jews. Any — my view is any student who holds up a sign that says ‘Free Palestine from the river to the sea’ should be expelled. That’s not free speech. That’s calling for murder.”

Ayaan Hirsi Ali: ‘Free Palestine’ March in DC Is Really ‘Pro-Hamas March’
>> It's really a pro-Hamas demonstration and a lot of people there who think of themselves as progressives and who have progressive causes and are going to March for Hamas and not for Palestinians because if you are truly for the Palestinian people, you would be marching against Hamas. There is a concept and radical islamist theology and it’s called – "fool the infidels" and a lot of people fooled by Hamas will be marching out there tomorrow.
>> People forget Ayaan, the whole goal of a lot of people is to wipe Israel off the map completely, kill them all, get rid of them. Maybe people just don’t quite remember that part. They know, yeah, October 7th. I think that was propaganda. People are being told. Joe Biden- who has been very vocal- we are in complete solidarty with Israel. Yet his progressive flank, they’re the ones who are supporting all of these pro-Palestinian groups.
>> I was a very harsh critic of Joe Biden and the way he left Afghanistan. Right now I complement him and his administration for the strong position they have taken. It is a very strong model position in support of Israel. And I think by extension true Palestinians. Yeah the track party is divided. The younger generation has gone woke and progressive. And they have been fooled by Hamas in disguise. They have been told that they are marching for the rights of Palestinians and for the lives of Palestinians but they are not. In fact, these people are marching to obliterate Israel off the map. When you hear ceasefire, what it translates into is let Israel stop fighting for itself let Hamas regroup and let Hamas come back and do what Hamas says in its charter. And that is to completely eradicate and obliterate Israel off the map.

With new Speaker Mike Johnson, the GOP now has to deliver on supporting allies, reducing spending and showing America that Republicans can lead and are worth their vote.

Rep. Kat Cammack (R-FL) explains where the House is at, whether Ukraine is the litmus test for re-election and why not expel the antisemites that exist in the Democratic Party.

Public Sq. Jumps Into Politics with Don Jr. TownHall
People know Public Sq. as a marketplace for those on the political right. Since it's founding, and going public Public Sq. has become a darling of Republicans and Conservatives across the country.
The founder, Michael Seifert, has not been shy about the purpose of his company, and his desire to support like-minded Americans and others.
But now, in Indiana, Public Sq. is jumping in to the political with a townhall featuring Republican candidate for Senate in Indiana, Rep. Jim Banks and Donald Trump Jr., son of President Donald Trump.
Why the townhalls? Is this all part of the marketing for the public company, or is this brought on by another force?

Scarborough: Netanyahu is 'Responsible for the greatest slaughter of Jews since the Holocaust'
SCARBOROUGH: “Willie, I think for many supporters of Israel, right message in many ways, wrong messenger. Certainly, him defending himself in the lead-up up to the attacks, that’s not a message that the overwhelming majority of people in Israel believe. There’s no way they could believe that. He left Israelis completely vulnerable to the most vicious attack since the Holocaust. So, again, I think it’s wildly inappropriate for him to — but, of course, it’s what he is going to do. But to somehow try to tangle — entangle Israel’s survival with his own. But, again, many things he said, true. We wouldn’t have talked about a cease-fire on December 8th, 1941, or on September 12th, 2001. Also, very true that Hamas has hidden behind civilians their entire career. We said this the day after the attacks. We said, when a Jew dies, that’s a victory for Hamas. When a Palestinian dies, that’s a victory for Hamas. They are just excited about Palestinians dying, maybe even more than they are when Jews die, because they consider that a victory. That’s why they hide in hospitals. That’s why they hide in apartment buildings. That’s why they hide behind civilians. So, again, I think most supporters of Israel would agree with Benjamin Netanyahu in many ways, except the Benjamin Netanyahu part. He was responsible for that — not just directly, by Israel sleeping and the defense forces sleeping and him obsessing over wars against the courts instead of war against Hamas, and also because what he did for well over a decade, doing everything he could to avoid peace talks that would lead to a two-state solution. He was so obsessed with the West Bank and so obsessed to allowing religious extremists to bulldoze down Palestinian homes for political purposes, because he knew that would help him with the far-right, the far-right religiously, politically, that he took his eyes off the terrorists who promised to kill Jews, took his eyes completely off of it for political reasons. So, yeah, that speech last night, a little discordant for a lot of people, and I’ll say, including myself, that are fierce defenders of Israel. You can’t be a fierce defender of Israel and listen to what Benjamin Netanyahu said and go, ‘Yeah, yeah, that sounds about right.’ Because 80% of people inside of Israel think he is responsible.”
GEIST: “Well, that’s the thing. In this moment of national unity inside of Israel, there is dissent about the man leading the country right now, big dissent. You hear it in the questions he’s asked even in those news briefings. He is a man who has built his reputation as a national security hawk, as the man who can protect Israel from all the aggressors that surround it, every minute of every day. And on October 7th, that all fell to pieces. The fact that people could walk across the border, effectively, and murder a couple thousand civilians, that fell away for him. He is vulnerable to that. And his argument now, Joe, is, ‘There will be time to talk about who is responsible. There will be a time for that. Right now, we have to crush Hamas.’”
SCARBOROUGH: “Well, Jonathan, Willie is exactly right.”
BRZEZINSKI: “I wouldn’t want to put off that conversation.”
SCARBOROUGH: “Why? You’d want the same people that allowed the attacks to happen on October 7th to lead this war? No. Because he put clowns around him. I have friends in Israel that told me for a year that he was taking out the pros and bringing in idiots and clowns.”
BRZEZINSKI: “What does that sound like?”
SCARBOROUGH: “Yeah, what does that sound like? It sounds like Donald Trump in the United States. Again, they didn’t tell me this on October 8th. They were telling me this in June and July. They were telling me it’s a certain kind of show over there. And I had warnings time and time again, people saying time and again, ‘He’s dividing the very people who protect our existence.’ So now he’s going out — Willie is right, you know, he’s built himself up as this hawk through the years. He will be remembered as the man who was responsible for the greatest slaughter of Jews worldwide since the Holocaust. I’m not saying that. Israelis are saying that, the ones who were there, the ones who lost sons, the ones who lost daughters, the ones who lost kids, who lost parents, who lost grandparents. They’re the ones saying it. That’s why he can’t go out and answer questions from Israelis. That’s why the cabinet ministers won’t go out to the people, because they know they’re responsible.”
LEMIRE: “Yeah, his legacy will be that he took his eye off the ball. The number one job for an Israeli prime minister is to keep Israeli citizens safe. His focus was the battle of the courts, his focus was the settlements, his focus was appeasing the far-right members of his coalition, and he lost the — you know, he lost the ability to keep those Israelis safe. He’s facing a lot of questions now. There’s real sense in the Biden White House that his days politically are numbered. They suspect he’ll keep his position through this first wave of the war, but at certain point, polls suggest Israelis want a new leader.”

Netanyahu: Fighting the Iranian Axis of Terror is 'Fighting the Enemies of Civilization Itself’
Netanyahu: “Until recently many believed that the promise of progress in the 21st century would enable us to move beyond the barbaric horrors of the past, towards a better and brilliant future. Many believe that we could go about our comfortable lives and that evil will simply pass us by. It will not. The horrors that Hamas perpetrated on October 7th remind us that we will not realize the promise of a better future, unless we, the civilized world, are willing to fight the barbarians. Because the barbarians are willing to fight us. And their goal is clear: Shatter that promising future, destroy all that we cherish, and usher in a world of fear and darkness.
Ladies and gentlemen, this is a turning point, a turning point for leaders and nations. It is time for all of us to decide if we’re willing to fight for a future of hope and promise or surrender to tyranny and terror. Now rest assured, Israel will fight. Since October 7th Israel has been at war. Israel did not start this war. Israel did not want this war. But Israel will win this war. Hamas launched this war by perpetrating the worst savagery our people have seen since the Holocaust. Hamas murdered children in front of their parents, murdered parents in front of their children. They buried people alive. They raped women. They beheaded men. They tortured Holocaust survivors. They kidnapped babies. They committed the most horrific crimes imaginable.
And they’re part of the axis of evil that Iran has formed, an axis of terror that works by arming training and financing Hamas in Gaza, Hezbollah in Lebanon, the Houthis in Yemen, and other terror proxies throughout the Middle East and beyond the Middle East.
In fighting Hamas and the Iranian axis of terror, Israel is fighting the enemies of civilization itself. Victory over these enemies begins with moral clarity. It begins with knowing the difference between good and evil, between right and wrong. It means making a moral distinction between the deliberate murder of the innocent and the unintentional casualties that accompany every legitimate war, even the most just war.
It means holding Hamas responsible for the double war cry it commits every day by deliberately targeting the Israeli civilians, while deliberately using Palestinian civilians as human shields. It means making clear that the use of human shields is not only an immoral tactic of terror, but also an ineffective one. Because as long as Hamas’ use of Palestinian human shields result in the international community blaming Israel, Hamas will continue to use it as a tool of terror and so will others.
Hamas will continue to use the basements in Gaza’s hospitals as the command post of its vast terror tunnel network. It will continue to use mosques as fortified military positions and weapon depots. It will continue to steal fuel and humanitarian assistance from U.N. facilities. While Israel is doing everything to get Palestinians civilians out of harm’s way, Hamas is doing everything to keep Palestinian civilians in harm’s way.
Israel urges Palestinian civilians to leave the areas of armed conflict, while Hamas prevents those civilians from leaving those areas at gunpoint. Hamas is also preventing foreign nationals from leaving Gaza altogether. And most despicably Hamas is holding over 200 Israeli hostages, including 33 children, holding them, terrorizing them, keeping them as hostages. Every civilized nation should stand with Israel and demanding that these hostages be freed immediately and freed unconditionally.
I want to make clear Israel’s position regarding a ceasefire. Just as the United States would not agree to a ceasefire after the bombing of Pearl Harbor, or after the terrorist attack of 9/11, Israel will not agree to a cessation of hostilities with Hamas after the horrific attacks of October 7th. Calls for a ceasefire are calls for Israel to surrender to Hamas, to surrender to terrorism, to surrender to barbarism — that will not happen.
Ladies and gentlemen, the Bible says that there is a time for peace, and a time for war. This is a time for war, a war for a common future. Today we draw a line between the forces of civilization and the forces of barbarism. It is a time for everyone to decide where they stand. Israel will stand against the forces of barbarism until victory. I hope and pray that civilized nations everywhere will back this fight. Because Israel’s fight is your fight, because of Hamas and Iran’s axis of evil when you will be their next target.
That’s why Israel’s victory will be your victory. But make no mistake, regardless of who stands with Israel, Israel will fight until this battle is won, and Israel will prevail. May God bless Israel, and may God bless all those who stand with Israel.”

Dershowitz Urges Donors to Stop Donating to Harvard: 'These Are Hitler Youths'
These kids who signed these statements, while people were still bleeding to death from the rapes and murders, these are Hitlers youth. These are the same as the people who conducted Kristallnacht 85 years ago. These are the same people who fought for the Ayatollahs to come to power. Students have been responsible for some of the worst blood baths and abuses in history. Stalin relied on children, Hitler relied on college students, there’s no excuse. These are Hitler Youths. They are on the wrong side of history. And President of Harvard refuses to condemn them. She’s now, finally, after a lot of pressure been willing to condemn Hamas, but she’s not willing to condemn Hitlers Youth among her Students and among her faculty and until she does that I urge everybody to stop contributing to Harvard, Yale, the City University of New York to the University of Pennsylvania. Send your contributions to decent organizations that know the difference between right and wrong.
