LAWSUIT: Exposing Racial Discrimination in NY State Education
William Jacobson is taking on the state of New York. Through his project, EqualProtect.org, Jacobson is bringing suit against a long standing New York practice in education that allows schools to discriminate against students by only offering educational opportunities to students of a certain race or color.
In this case, Jacobson, a lawyer and law professor at Cornell University, is representing Asian parents who see their children being discriminated against.
DEI is bigotry, and it damage everything and everyone it touches. Prof. Jacobson talks to Tony about the lawsuit, as well as the state of antisemitism on college campuses.

Biden Finally ADMITS the Border is in Crisis
Reporter: “What do you say to House Republicans who are trying to impeach Mayorkas, sir?”
Biden: “I don’t get it.”
Reporter: “Do you think it’s unconstitutional? And do you believe that the border is secure?”
Biden: “No, it’s not. I haven’t believed that for the last 10 years. I’ve said it for the last 10 years. Give me the money.”
Reporter: “Do you believe your policies have enabled any of this crisis at the border?”
Biden: “No, I’ve — I’ve asked for thousands more — everything from the judges — anyway...”

Karine Jean-Pierre caught in a LIE about Republican border patrol funding
Reporter: “Why are you repeating this false claim that Republicans voted to reduce the number of the Border Patrol agents even though The Washington Post gave the administration three Pinocchios for that?”
Jean-Pierre: “So, we don’t believe it’s a false claim. Our statements were very direct here. Last year, House GOP voted — voted — and not only did they vote for it, but they touted, they touted their Limit, Save, Grow Act. That’s the act — “
Reporter: “And they vowed that it would never affect Border Patrol.”
Jean-Pierre: “They voted for and touted it. This is an act and this would have forced the elimination of 2,000 Border Patrol agents. That’s what this act that they touted, that they voted for in the House. So, that was their proposal, and that was what they voted for back in May.”

Bernie Sanders: What’s Happening in Gaza Is Worse than Dresden, Germany in WWII
Sanders: “Jake, we have got to, as Americans, take a very deep breath. What is going on in Gaza right now is a horrendous humanitarian catastrophe. We’re looking at 23,000 people who have been killed. Almost 60,000 have been wounded. And two-thirds of the people who have been killed are women and children. You’re looking at 70 percent of the housing units in Gaza that have been destroyed. Jake, if I use the word Dresden, Germany, to you, you think about the horrific destruction during World War II of that city. What is going on in Gaza now in three months is worse than what took place in Dresden over a two-year period. This is a catastrophe. And now, according to the United Nations, after you have 1.9 million people displaced from their homes — they don’t have food, they don’t have water, they don’t have medical equipment, they don’t have fuel — what you are looking at is imminent starvation. Children are starving to death. So, my view has been from the beginning, Israel has a right to respond to this horrific terrorist attack from Hamas, but you do not have a right to go to war against an entire people, women and children. And the United States Congress has got to act because a lot of this destruction is being done with military weapons supplied by the United States of America. And what the resolution that I’m introducing is about, it’s consistent with the Foreign Assistance Act. It says that, if American military assistance is given to any country, Saudi Arabia, Israel, any other country, it has got to be used consistent with human rights, international human rights standards, and American law. In my opinion, that is certainly not the case. We have a horrific humanitarian catastrophe. We cannot turn our backs on it. Congress has got to start moving to protect children in Palestine.”

Argentinian President at World Economic Forum 24: ‘Do Not Surrender to the Advance of the State'
MILEI (via translator): “Do not surrender to the advance of the state. The state is not the solution, the state is the problem itself. You are the true protagonists of this story. And rest assured that as from today, Argentina is your staunch, unconditional ally. Thank you very much, and long live freedom, dammit!”

Joy Reid and Rachel Maddow Deliver Bigoted Fear Mongering
Joy Reid is engaged in such bigotry, it is remarkable that MSNBC keeps her on air. The only way Joy Reid is able to participate in conversation on any topic is to find a way to connect bigotry and racism to it. This is what passes as intelligence on the political left. She claims that white American Christians vote for Trump because they are racists who want to force their white Christianity on all the land.
Joy Reid is just one example of what you are up against, with Rachel Maddow being another. Rachel Maddow won't broadcast Donald Trump live because MSNBC doesn't air "untrue things" as a policy. Then why do they continue to air Biden speeches?
What happens when regular Americans start to believe Reid and Maddow about how dangerous the threat of Republicans is? What happens when Americans feel empowered to stop the threat? This is what you are up against.

Biden Says the Situation on the Southern Border Is Not a Crisis
REPORTER: "Would you call the situation on the southern border a 'crisis'?"
BIDEN: "No but I would say we need to react. I've been pushing that on my Republican colleagues since I got into office. I think we have to make some major changes in the border, I've been pushing them. Prepared to make significant [inaudible] on the border. Negotiations going on the last 5 weeks, I'm hoping we get there."

Jeffries: ‘Republicans Are the Party of Insurrection, Impeachment and Illegitimate Investigations’
Jeffries: “This week has once again revealed that extreme MAGA Republicans have zero interest in doing anything productive, that is designed to benefit the American people. House Republicans are the party of insurrection, impeachment, and illegitimate investigations, nothing more, nothing less — insurrection, impeachment and illegitimate investigations. These extremists have made clear, once again this week, that they have no ideas, no agenda, no vision, and have made no progress on solving problems for everyday Americans.
It’s sad, and it’s shameful that extreme MAGA Republicans have turned the House of Representatives into a spectacle and a national embarrassment. The most unproductive Congress in modern American history being presided over by these MAGA Republicans whose agenda — let me correct myself — is chaos, dysfunction and extremism, that’s their agenda. That’s their substantive agenda anchored around insurrection, impeachment, and illegitimate investigation.”

Scarborough to Pelosi: ‘How Do We’ Convince Americans Bidenomics Is Working?
SCARBOROUGH: “How does that message — how do — how do we connect that? Because even conservatives, even — even a conservative, like Gerard Baker, who is the editor emeritus for ‘The Wall Street Journal,’ talked about winners and losers, winner of the year, America’s economy, and he said, sorry, I know I’m going to upset a lot of people, but as Katty says all the time, America’s economy, Joe Biden’s work and America’s economy is the envy of the world. How do we get that message out to voters?”
Pelosi: “Well, again, I used to say when I was speaker, I can bake the pie, or I can sell the pie. It’s hard to bake and sell at the same time. He’s been working very hard. And now he has to sell it.”
BRZEZINSKI: “Right.”
Pelosi: “He has to sell it. And again, this is a very responsible, knowledgeable values based person who takes his responsibility seriously. Now it’s time to —“
BRZEZINSKI: “Campaign.”
Pelosi: “— make the public aware of it.”
BRZEZINSKI: “Yeah.” [crosstalk]
Pelosi: “And that’s a part of it.”
KAY: “The pie is almost ready.”
BRZEZINSKI: “The pie is ready.”
SCARBOROUGH: “Almost.”
BRZEZINSKI: “No, I hear they’re coming out of the gate, and I think they’re going to start really pushing hard.”

CNN Panel falls into CHAOS over Claudine Gay and D.E.I.
>> Jonah, the MAGA extremist argument, which is the one that in the fall of 2022 Biden made, worked very well for him and for Democrats in the midterm. What do you think of him going that argument and literally in the speech on Friday talking about nazis and comparing Trump’s rhetoric to Nazi rhetoric, doing it this early?
>> I think that’s the right question. It is a tactical question to me as just a matter of politics. I would have his surrogates doing that now. There’s a real problem, or there’s a real potential of this all sort of becoming background noise and there’s no shock value to it by the time you get to the general election. So it is going to be dismissed by a lot of people on the right pretty early because argument of Hitler is an old tactic of the left, and even if it has more salience now, but I feel it is early to come out of the box like this because it is the point of persuading his own coalition to come home.
>> Where do you go when you start with Hitler? Satan? I’m not sure where you move. One of the problems he has got — one thing he can do is repeat it and keep repeating it. The more we see Trump say crazy things and people pay attention to it —
>> But 11 months is a long time.
>> It is a long time, but it will grow over time. People will go, oh, that guy. I think it is better to say, look at that guy rather than look at me.
>> One advantage is that when Trump gets called Hitler, Trump’s response is to say, hey, I didn’t get this from mein kampf. I came up with this language all on my own. I didn’t plagiarize Hitler, I just used duplicative language.
>> Lulu, what did you want to say?
>> I wanted to say as a tactic, sure, is it going to get old. But this is his central message. This has been his central message since the moment he actually said he was going to try to become president of the United States. It is not unusual for Biden to say, this is why I am here, I am fighting for democracy, I am fighting for this country, and I consider Trump to be an existential threat.
>> Let’s be honest about something. One of the reasons, and I kind of touched on it in the beginning, one of the reasons that Biden is taking this route is because he has spent all fall touting his own record, leaning into ‘'Bidenomics'’ and it didn’t work. Take a look at this latest CNN average of recent polls. At this point 38% approve of the job the president is doing. 58% disapprove. Reihan, I mean, you know, he was making the affirmative case for himself and folks weren’t buying it.
>> Joe Biden’s best chance right now is to have a low turnout election. We are in a very different moment right now in which in the past the assumption was always among progressive activists, we need to get folks to turn out, we do better in presidential years than we do in off-year elections. Now it is very different. Jonah mentioned very astutely in 2022 these tactics worked because you had a somewhat more affluent, more educated electorate. A lot of folks were on the sidelines. What Biden is trying to do here, I suspect, is trying to demotivate some folks, number one. Number two, try to see to it that people that might otherwise go to a no labels candor to Robert Kennedy jr. Stick with him out of the sense that the alternative is so noxious and terrible.
>> Reihan, has in effect the country moved on from the so-called racial reckoning we were all talking about after the murder of George Floyd?
>> I think there’s a broad sense that racial reckoning involved smuggling in ideological ideas that weren’t about diversity but rather were about imposing ideological uniformity. When you're looking at DEI bureaucracies, what really is noxious about them is that they actually don’t respect all sorts of diversity, including viewpoint diversity, including the fact that, look, in some cases you have groups that are over represented, and that can be okay. You know, the point that j.d. Vance was making about the Dallas mavericks is that it can be good and healthy and reasonable in some domains to have over representation —
>> Ridículo. Ridículo.
>> What she said.
>> You can say it's ridiculous, you can make that assertion, but the fact that I’m one second-generation Asian American on a panel of four, I’m massively over represented. But I think it is reasonable to say you will judge people based on merits. And
>> Excuse me.
>> When you are looking at high performance organizations —
>> Excuse me, excuse me. This is the burden and I can’t tell you how infuriating I find it. This is the burden that always comes with representation. The idea is that because you are a person of color, suddenly it is — you are only there because it is some noblesse oblige, because some white guilt put you there, because there was some dei initiative and you can’t win either way you look at it. What infuriates me is you look at the Claudine Gay thing and everyone is talking about dei. This woman cannot win or lose. If she is there —
>> I’m happy to talk about Claudine Gay, please.
>> Let me finish. If she is there, it is because of dei. That they put her there because she is black. If she loses and they kick her out it is because she was never good enough to be there in the beginning. You can’t win in this situation.
>> Yeah, but —
>> And it is infuriating as a person of color to constantly have this cudgel put on our heads.
>> I get the argument you can’t win but you can’t have it both ways. You can’t celebrate and tout someone was hired and it is a wonderful thing to expand diversity and Harvard went full tilt to talk about hiring the first black woman. and then say all of the sudden-
>> The first black person, it wasn't even the first black woman, it was the first black person.
>> I don’t care. The point is. She was caught obviously plagiarizing. those are the facts.
>> It was ideological, very well-funded —
>> The motives of the attack don’t change the fact she plagiarized.
>> Oh, come on.
>> When I disagree with you, cara —
>> When somebody fails who is white and is a man.
>> You mean like the president of Stanford —
>> Yes, when nobody — in fact, there are books written about this, fail and then come back. You know, look at —
>> Pivot.
>> Pivot, exactly.
>> Nice way to get into your podcast.
>> Thank you. Pivot, and then when a person of color fails all of a sudden it is an indictment of an entire system that the right doesn't like.
>> This is so ridiculous. She was a graduate of exeter and Stanford with a ph.d. from Harvard.
>> Do you know why? You have to be excellent to get where she is.
>> Second generation Haitian American who came from a family who dominated the concrete industry in haiti. She was not the wretched of the earth. She was someone who should be judged on her merits.
>> Wait, I'm sorry, Black people have to be wretched? Is that what you're saying?
>>She was selected because she established the office of diversity, equity and inclusion and belonging at Harvard. She presided over a steep decline in the free speech climate, and she also —
>> All right.
>> — targeted minority professors who dissented from her perspective. That was a problem.

KJP is Wrong About America's Confidence in Biden
Jean-Pierre: “Inflation fell to the lowest level in three years. That’s important. Consumer confidence is at the highest level since July and the second-highest level in two years."
BURNS: “Who feels good about the economy right now? Who feels bad about the economy right now? Alright. Shelley, let me ask you first. What do you think is going on economically? What are the challenges you are facing economically?”
UNKNOWN: “I would think it would be groceries, gas, everything you have to buy every day is way more expensive than previous years.”
BURNS: “Let me — let me ask you this. Right now, when you look on paper, right, you’ve got low unemployment rates, wages are up, inflation is easing, stock market is doing well, but are you feeling any of that? How do you feel about the economy day to day?
UNKNOWN: “I’m not sure I agree with what you just said.”
UNKNOWN 2: “Not better off now than I was four years ago. I retired three years ago. I never planned on using some of the money that I saved to retire that I had to use because of the economy now. So, I don’t know if the stock market is up, I must be in the wrong place. Because I’m not making the same money that I was making before.”
Jean-Pierre: "And so we’re glad to see that Americans are feeling more confident about the economy.”

DeSantis: ‘I Want to Stop the Invasion at the Border’
DeSantis: “When you start talking about using those types of terms, I don’t think that helps us move the ball forward. I would not put it in those terms. (...) I want to stop the invasion at the border 100 percent but then legal immigration should really only be for people that buy into our core values as a country and that actually want to assimilate into American society.”

Speaker Johnson: We Need Transformative Change at the Border
JOHNSON: "October, November, December alone, we’ve had more illegal crossings at the border than in any entire year during the Obama Administration. The American people see this, they feel it acutely, they see all the terrible societal ills that come from this, and it must be addressed. So I’ve made this very clear, again, from the very beginning, when I was handed the gavel, we needed clarity on what we’re doing in Ukraine, and how we’ll have proper oversight of the spending of precious taxpayer dollars of American citizens. And we needed a transformative change at the border Thus far, we’ve gotten neither. The Senate has been MIA on this. The House passed H.R. 2, six months ago, more than six months ago. It’s been sitting and collecting dust on Chuck Schumer’s desk. I have told him personally, I’ve told the National Security adviser, the secretary of state and the secretary of Defense, that these are our conditions, because these are the conditions of the American people. And we are resolute on that. It is not the House’s issue right now. The issue is with the White House and the Senate. And I implore them to do their job because the time is urgent and we do want to do the right thing here.”
BAIER: “Is it possible that a no Ukraine aid could happen in the Republican caucus?”
Johnson: “Well, listen, I think that there is the majority of the Republicans and the Democrats in the House, by way of example, would vote for Ukraine aid if there is sufficient clarity on these questions. And also, of course, if we have really transformational change at the U.S. border.
If we are going to have a national security package of spending, national security begins at our own border. This is about our own sovereignty. These are policy changes that could be easily made but the White House has been very reluctant. They really went silent on us all of this time. I have been the speaker for a little over six weeks, almost seven weeks, and since the day I was handed the gavel, I have been saying that this was the condition, that we had to do this first. And we passed H.R. 2, the House passed our bill six months ago. It’s been sitting on the desk of Chuck Schumer ever since. They have not taken us seriously and here we are at the end of the year, and now they’re saying we’ve run out of time.
the House will do its work if there was a deal. But it has not materialized. And as of tonight, they have given us the cold shoulder. So they are ignoring this, what I believe is a top priority of the American people. It doesn’t matter where I have been in the country over the last few weeks, Bret, whether I’m in New York or southeast or out west, they all say the same thing. They are deeply concerned about what’s happening. We had 12,000 people come over that border one day last week, on Wednesday. If you look at the statistics from October, November, and so far in December, more people have crossed that border illegally since any entire year at the end of the Obama Administration. It is not a sustainable situation. It is harming our country in ways that are hard to describe, and we have to get on top of it.”
BAIER: “So, what’s the red line when it comes to border policy to get the supplemental through?”
Johnson: “Listen, the House’s position is H.R. 2. It has very important provisions like asylum reform, parole reform, the end of the catch and release policies, the Remain in Mexico —“
BAIER: “And if they don’t go all the way to H.R. 2, could they get some place that’s satisfactory?”
Johnson: “It’s — that’s our position, but they have yet to come back and even volley anything over the net. So, that’s our position and we have been very resolute about that.”
