Another day, another beam. This approx 2500 pound beam was higher than yesterday's (12.5' compared to 7'), so we used an upright post to give it a lift.

The heat comes by way of a heated waterline in the flooring, which is heated by the wood/coal boiler system. This provides electricity-free heat, not only for the dogs, but for the entire home.
