In this video, Tom Stapleton completes his "Deep Dive into Zechariah". This is the 5th and final video in the Zechariah series, which is the culmination of the entire millennium series. As Tom prepares for the final portion of Zechariah 14 and how it is an overview of Revelation chapters 20 - 22, he lays the foundation for you to understand the prophecy and how it fits perfectly with the Revelation given to John at Patmos. Zechariah was given more first coming prophecies than the other prophets, but surprisingly, his "missing link" was the second coming, which he does not cover at all, but instead jumps to the end of the millennium (what Tom calls "the third coming") when we see the restoration of all things. Just as the Pharisees were applying end time prophecies to the first coming, causing them to reject the Mosiah, don't make the same mistake and apply final fulfilments to the Second Coming, which is not yet the end of the story. In this third part of Tom Stapleton's deep dive into Zechariah, Tom is ready to share his understanding of Zechariah 14, a chapter that causes many questions and has a wide variety of interpretations. Before actually explaining Zechariah 14, Tom lays a foundation from Revelation chapters 19 - 21. Millennium Series - Part 11 Join Tom Stapleton as he continues his deep dive into the book of Zechariah. This book is the culmination of Tom's series on the Millennium - Here or There? In part 2 of the Zechariah study, Tom looks at the "missing link". Chapters 1 - 13 are full of first coming prophecies, which were the next major prophetic event that was due to happen post-Babylonian captivity. What Zechariah didn't see, however, was that there would be a Second Coming of the Messiah. Instead, after the first coming prophecies, Zechariah was shown the end -- the final promises (that we now know from Revelation and elsewhere) of an Eternal Kingdom that begins at the end of the millennium, after the final white throne judgment of Revelation 20.

In the first of a multipart series on the book of Zechariah, Tom Stapleton covers some of the many first coming prophecies that foretold the arrival of Yeshua, Our Messiah. As with other prophets, God gave Zechariah the end from his beginning, which was just after the end of the Babylonian captivity and the rebuilding of Jerusalem and the temple. It is fitting that Zechariah focuses his book on the first coming of the Messiah, and specifically the rejection of the Messiah, and the consequences of that rejection.

In yet another example of the way prophecy combines events from the first coming, second coming, and end of millennium, Tom Stapleton looks at Isaiah 11:1-12. In 12 verses, we see Isaiah cover the first coming, move to the second coming, give events related to the end of the millennium, and then back to the second coming. Without the prophetic discernment that comes only through Yeshua's spirit ("the testimony of Yeshua which is the Spirit of prophecy"), sorting through the future prophecies would be impossible. As Tom Stapleton continues a series of teachings to show the way the prophecies were given with promises that would not be fulfilled until the earth made new, promises that were at times still thousands of years in the future. We see this happening in Isaiah 61:1-2, but in this instance, we have Yeshua Himself showing where to rightly divide this verse when He quotes from it in Luke 4. How do we determine in the prophecies when the prophets spoke of the first, second, and third comings, all mingled in the same visions? Tom Stapleton continues to lay a foundation to help the viewer understand how to rightly divide prophecies when God gave the end from the beginning, but often left out thousands of years. He would forewarn of things coming in the immediate future, and then remind them of His final promise of a sinless eternity with Him. Many make the mistake of trying to place the "end" where it fits their preconceived notion of events, rather than using God's calendar and prior actions to determine where the prophecy belongs. This is an ongoing study, which by necessity is very detailed and thus time consuming. Because it is the glory of God to conceal a matter and the glory of kings to search out these matters (Proverbs 25:2), and because it is those who seek Him with their whole heart who are the ones who find Him (Jeremiah 29:13), and because this is our eternity we are speaking about, this is not a "bottom line" study, but rather a "line upon line, precept upon precept" study. Those who are willing to invest the time to fully grasp the nuances of prophecy will be blessed. A viewer recently sent in the following question: It appears that Russia invading Ukraine was the red horse riding, and the restrictions both to fertilizer and grain production that rose out of that invasion is the black horse riding. What was the event of the white horse riding that I missed? There is much speculation on what the "four horsemen of the apocalypse" from Revelation 6 represents. In this teaching, Tom Stapleton shows how the four horsemen are a repeat and enlargement from Daniel's visions in both chapters 7 and 8. Since Daniel and Revelation are both end-time prophecies, it is reasonable that you should be able to see many parallels with added information when all of the visions are studied together.
