This is an early access game still currently in development. I spend most of this video trying to figure out the mechanics, exploring a bit around the beginning of the game, and building a small shelter. I faced a few goblins and even died once! My initial thoughts, it's an interesting game so far with some potential, but it's a bit clunky at times and the combat isn't exactly amazing. I hope you enjoy the video and the many more to come! Lenovo Legion H500 Pro Headset Hey, everyone! My name is Chris Simmons and I’m the founder of Manstrations and Manstrations Gaming. Introduction The Lenovo Legion H500 Pro headset is a gaming headset develop for total audio immersion via 7.1 surround sound while enjoying your favorite video games. The set’s frame is solid steel, the headband and ear cups are leather, and it offers 7.1 surround sounds audio. Pro(s) The price: The Legion H500 Pro headset has a list price of $99.99 putting this headset in the low to mid-range for price. Based on my experience with this set and other sets at roughly the same cost I have been more than pleased with the sets functionality, comfort, and longevity. Comfort & Construction: Most of the headsets I’ve owned in the past have been made mostly of plastic and have not held up well under general gaming use. This set is built mostly of metal with the exception of the ear cups and headband; however, both the ear cups and headband are connected to metal. After several months and hundreds of hours of use, my headset is still in near-mint condition. Functionality: The Legion H500 Pro headset comes with both a 3.5mm jack connected directly to the headset with an optional 3.5mm to USB connector. The connector has a built-in volume adjuster, equalizer, 7.1 surround sound dongle, and chat mute/unmute button. The decision to offer two separate connectivity options offers the end-user the ability to use the headset across more platforms than they otherwise would. Me personally, I use these mostly with my Xbox via the 3.5mm connector; however, I do also use these while streaming movies via the USB connector. The microphone: The most surprising feature I’ve appreciated the most is the retractable microphone. In the past, I’ve broken several detachable microphones on other sets (Turtle Beach, Sharkoon, etc…). I feel the ability to retract the microphone into the set has helped to prolong the use of the set. Noise cancellation: The set has built-in noise cancellation and it works. When using this set I feel completely immersed in the gameplay to the point of not noticing when someone opens my office door and enters the room. Con(s) Versatility for Non-Gaming: The Lenovo Legion H500 Pro headset is designed for PC gaming by a PC company. Therefore, it should be no surprise that the features are geared mainly towards this end. As I mentioned early, I use this headset primarily with my Xbox One via the 3.5mm connector. By plugging the headset directly into my controller (Elite Series 2) I lack the ability to adjust chat and game volume and settings on the fly. If this is an important feature for you then the Legion H500 Pro will fall short. Opinion The Legion H500 Pro Headset is the best bang-for-you-buck gaming headset on the market. Everything from the all-steel frame to the long-lasting comfort to the quality of the audio helps set this headset above the rest with the only drawback being a lack of functionality for console gaming. 4.5 out of 5 stars. -Manstrations Gaming

Today’s topic? The Playstation Pulse 3D Wireless Headset for the PS4 and PS5. First, a little background, and a few disclaimers. One, I’m not a tech guy. This review nor any review in the future will be about the actual tech or specifications of a piece of hardware or software. My reviews will strictly be MY OPINION. Feel free to disagree. If you read this or watch the video let me know your thoughts. I’m all for it. Just don’t be a dickhead… Second, I want to make this abundantly clear, I love to game regardless of the platform. For the Playstation fanboys, if I say something negative about a Playstation product it’s not because I’m an Xbot it’s because it’s truly what I think. I obviously like Playstation as I’ve pre-ordered hardware for a console that isn’t even out yet! For Xbot fanboys, relax, I actually do have am Xbox Series X pre-ordered and I’m freakin stoked about it! I can’t wait to get my hands on it. For the PC Master Race, I just can’t afford it, lol! Maybe one day… Lastly, these reviews aren’t meant to be a comprehensive guide to a piece of hardware/software. They’re just my impressions/thoughts that hopefully someone finds helpful before they purchase a product. First Impression So, out of the box, the Pulse Headset looks nice. Aesthetically, it’s pleasing to the eye. The white on black design is sharp. That said, it feels cheap. For $100 I expected a bit more in the structure of the set. It appears to be made entirely of plastic. In comparison, I have the Lenovo Legion H500 Pros, which cost $75, and they’re made mostly of metal. I don’t think that’s reason enough not to buy, but I was disappointed. On a positive note, there are a number of built-in switches on the set itself to help control what you hear. You can mute your mic, increase/decrease volume, adjust whether you want more chat or game audio, and a switch called “monitor” which allows you to hear your own voice. The last one seems particularly useful to streamers so that they can be sure everyone can hear what they’re saying as desired. Not all headsets have built-in functionality so I definitely think this is a plus. Test For the initial test, I plug the Pulse 3D Headset into my PS4. It worked pretty much immediately, which was great. I did have to make an audio adjustment in the settings, but that’s to be expected. For this initial test, I played the soundtrack to Ghosts of Tsushima. Jin Sakai, The way of the Ghost, Tsushima Suite: III. Bushido, and Tsushima Suite: V. Seiiki. In general, the audio sounded great. Someone with a finer ear might be able to speak more concisely on the fidelity of the audio, but for gaming purposes I was happy. That said, I also listened to the aforementioned soundtrack with my Legion headset and didn’t notice much of a difference in the audio. The one advantage the Pulse 3D Wireless Headset had over the Legion headset was the ability to adjust the volume on the spot. That’s definitely a nice feature, but it is not unique. Many headsets offer that as well. Disclaimer: 3D audio was not tested at this time due to not having a PS5… Conclusion The Pulse 3D Wireless Headset is an average headset at best. It looks nice, but feels cheap and easily breakable. It’s fairly comfortable and the sound is solid, but not remarkable. On a positive note, the built-in features on the set itself are helpful and do separate this headset from other headsets in its class. Opinion If you’re in need of a headset with your PS5 purchase then the Pulse 3D Wireless Headset is a relatively inexpensive, but solid choice. However, if you’re looking to upgrade your audio experience I would at least wait until we know how this headset sounds using Sony’s proprietary 3D audio technology. It’s entirely possible said technology makes this headset worth the money, but that remains to be seen. -Manstrations Gaming
