So today I thought I would bring you another starter kit. So here are my thoughts on the throwback Suorin iShare Metal Edition pod kit. The pod kit looks nice and small, maybe one of those devices for when your just on a run about shopping. Spec 130 mAh battery, 1.8 ohm coil, 0.9ml pod, the spec is crap right but hey it's just a mtl little cheap pod kit, how bad can it be? Avoid this even with a price of less the £5, 3 x replacement pods at less than £3 and a portable power bank at less than £8. You would just be out of pocket, Why? because the spec and coils are rubbish, there's no flavour, coils burn out after a few toots and the charger must have been made in 2018 and near dead on arrival. Today we take a look at a starter pod kit from Joyetech, so here we go with the Joyetech eGo Pod Kit. The device only comes with one pod which in my opinion should have two in there for a starter. The pen is 98mm X 19mm, has a 1000 mAh battery, that with the Avatar chip makes it an efficient battery. The pod has a 2ml capacity with a 1.2 ohm coil that can be used with freebase or salt nic eliquids. It has protections built in for safety. The pod fills from the bottom with a valve system to make it safe around kids. Max charge current for this pen is 1A. The draw is not tight or to open. Flavour from this 1.2 ohm coil is about average. Priced from around £15 to £17 in the UK. Replacement pods come in at anywhere from £9.99 down to £6.99. Today we have the third and final e-liquid from the three. So here we go with Amatorium Alchemy, Beguile Raspberry Doughnut. Strait away you get a very nice raspberry jam followed by the doughnut and the sweetness of a sugar topped doughnut. This is an authentic tasting e-liquid that really does taste like a jam doughnut. I've had many doughnut vapes over the years and I can say this one is right up there with the best I would go so far as to say this is the most authentic tasting doughnut e-liquid I have ever tried. Today we have the second of three Amatorium Alchemy e-liquids and what has become my favourite up to now, I'm talking about Amatorium Alchemy, Delight Country Fudge. Delight Country Fudge reminds me of the soft buttery cream fudge that melts in the mouth. You will never mistake this fudge as anything else as it is strait in your face from the off. Just smelling this e-liquid makes you try it and believe me you won't be disappointed other than not having the sweet in front of you to munch on. This is the best fudge e-liquid I have tried and is now my favourite e-liquid at this time. Today we take a look at the dual airflow, dual coil Hellvape Helheim RDTA. The Hellvape Helheim is a 25mm, 51mm tall RDTA. Made of Stainless Steel it comes in 5 colours if you include the SS. The Helheim has under coil and side airflow that give you a lot of choice to dial it in to just how you like it to be. This 4.5ml tank also comes with a squonk pin, yes I said a squonk pin making this a very versatile RDTA. It has a standard goon style 810 meaning you can swap it out for your favourite drip tip. The top third can be removed so you can inspect your coils and cotton, plus its the side airflow. The layout of the deck makes this a very easy tank to coil and wick. 3mm ID coils with 5mm legs worked really well for me with a combination of the under coil airflow wide open and the side airflow with two slots open in the honeycomb style side afc. The flavour with good coils in is up there with the best of them as is the fit and finish. Priced around £25 in the UK this is well worth looking at. Apologies for the audio I forgot to unmute the main Mic so its audio from the camera's Today we take a look at the Wotofo Gear V2. The Wotofo Gear V2 is a 24mm single coil RTA with fixed airflow. Made of stainless steel and PCTG plastic. This DL tank was better than I thought it would be having a fixed airflow. The flavour is really good considering the amount of airflow you get when taking a draw. It easy to build and the flat head screws are a good size, The coil placement is notched to hold to coil wire while fastening down. Filling the 3.5ml RTA is easy when you remember to unscrew using the fixed non replaceable drip tip. This RTA shouldn't be written off as it preform's really well for an open direct to lung tank. Priced in the UK from £20 to £25 it's worth a look for you cloud chukers. All in all I'm glad I didn't write this one off as I am really enjoying the vape I get from this RTA. My apologies for everything that went wrong from an old live setup from years ago going out to the audio and camera issues plus the two crashes. Most of the problems seem linked to a Windows update just before getting things ready for the live. One issue still remains a big problem and that's where the second audio signal is coming from causing the echo. I thought Gaz Flatcap may have been right till I remembered all audio input and output controllable from the camera were in the off position. Im thinking along the lines of the HDMI for this problem. Today we have a bargain for you, the Asmodus Minikin V3 from back in 2019. This is a 200W dual 18650 battery mod with all the safety features you will need, at the time of upload you can pick this up for as little as £20 in the UK if you use your google fu. I'm not saying that this touch screen mod is without problems because it can be frustrating to get the touch screen to work at times, and I mean without gloves on like I'm using in this quick review. The shape of this mod I can see will be a problem for some users. I think the 510 placement could have been better but and there's always a but as a £20 bargain does that really matter? So today we have a very futuristic shaped MTL Pod Kit. I'm talking about the Vaporesso Zero 2 Pod Kit. The Vaporesso Zero 2 has a 800 mAh built in battery. It comes with two disposable pods, a 1 ohm mesh coil pod and a 1.3 ohm CCell Pod. The pods are compatible with the original Zero. It has a futuristic ergonomic design and feel good in the hand. Its only a small device at 89 X31.8 X19mm. It has what Vaporesso call Dynamic Tidal Light to indicate how much charge is left or if your charging how much it's charged, simply put, the lights light up one after the other. When fully charged that only takes around 45 minutes all lights stay lit. There's no menu or buttons to push its a simple charge, fill the pod through the PTF (push to fill) port at the bottom of the pod. Put the pod on the device and draw. Today we take a look at the Vaporesso Xros Nano kit a new version of the xros family aimed at those making the switch to vaping. This a nice easy to use and fill starter kit that really does have a good AFC so you can get the airflow just how you like it. The Vaporesso Xros Nano has a 1000 mAh built in battery that will last most vapers a day. Charging is quick at around 45 minutes, charging at 1A/5V. You have a choice of resistance pods at 0.8 ohm and 1.2 ohm. The top fill couldn't be easier just snap the mouthpiece off fill and click the mouthpiece back in place. No buttons to press as it activates on the draw and uses the pulse mode on the Axon chip inside. It comes with a very good quality lanyard and you wouldn't expect anything else from Vaporesso. Fit and finish as usual second to none. Flavour is average from these coils but good enough to give you the flavour. Today we take a look at the single battery version of the Vaporesso Target. Yes today the Vaporesso Target 100 kit. The Vaporesso Target 100 is a single battery version in the Target family. It takes a single 21700/20700 or 18650 using the provided adaptor. It has the same menu as the Target 200 I reviewed not so long ago. It has that single hold down of the select button to move through the modes quickly or you can triple click the select button to enter the menu. Today we take a look at a bargain bin RDA, I'm talking about the Augvape Druga V2. This is a 24mm two post RDA. The post are gold plated with thumb screw clamps, the screw top is really good for those of us with dexterity problems but do make sure you use a screwdriver to fasten them right down. If you do anything to the coil always make sure the screws are tight afterwards. The fit and finish are really good and the flavour is good although the airflow is a little wooshy fully open. With the AFC you have plenty of choice to dial it in to how you vape. Today we have the new B + MOR YOLO disposable vape. The YOLO Disposable vape has a 550 mAh battery, 1.4 ohm coil, 3.5ml none TPD tank, 2ml TPD, 20mg salt nic TPD, 50mg none TPD and up to 800 puffs. There are eight flavours to choose from and comes with a matching lanyard. This disposable does remind me of the Mi Pod in design. The flavours are sweet but very nice to be honest, do remember I have a sweet tooth though. It is well constructed and packaged. Very Adult looking package and everything sealed in a foil. as I can not find a price for these ill base it on their others at around £6 each. All in all its not a bad disposable with the advantage of the lanyard so you can go about your business without having to carry it about in the hand. Todays retro review is from back in September 2015. This single battery mod was the first to have a centered 510, so what am I talking about. I'm talking about the Eleaf iStick TC60W mod. The Eleaf iStick TC60W mod was produced back in the infancy of Temp Control. Temp modes were only for Nickel and Titanium, there was no Stainless Steel mode at the time. The Eleaf iStick TC60W mod is a single 18650 mod. Power from 1W to 60W, TC range 100 to 315C 200 to 600F, TC resistance range 0.05 to 1 ohm, power resistance range 0.15 to 3.5 ohm's. Dimensions 90 X 38 X 28mm and it had all the usual protections, the mod is powder coated and you could get replacement panels to change the look of the mod (it never had red panels like I thought it did). The kit came with the Melo tank (I think the version 2) . The mod is ergonomic in shape, The menu is very easy to use having a select button at the bottom. To me the USB charge port is in the wrong place being under the mod but back then I would advise not to charge via this port but use an external charger. Having looked online to see if I could still get this mod a few places had it but it wasn't cheap, the lowest price I seen was £32.95 and that went up to £49 on one site. The fit and finish are very good on this mode. All in all a great 60W mod from back in the day and one i'll be using for my MTL tanks.
