President Trump was interviewed by Elon Musk on Monday night. The interview began almost an hour after it was scheduled to start. Elon Musk explained that X experienced a DDoS attack and that X workers were attempting to resolve the threat on their servers. The interview was able to proceed after the team addressed the threat, and after several hours the interview has amassed around 1 billion views. They discussed a variety of topics beginning with Trump’s response to his assassination attempt. Elon said that Trump’s response after his attempted assassination of inspiring the crowd and displaying bravery led to Musk publicly endorsing Trump for president. Trump discussed the horror of the injured and deceased rally attendees and the secret service and police response. He was thankful and appreciative for the secret service response after the attack, but both Trump and Musk expressed concern about how the building was not secured in the first place, highlighting how the roof the shooter was on was a prime location for an attack.
