Florida Sun Grown Cigar Review
Tobacco hasn't grown in Florida since 1890 when Jeff Borysiewicz decided to change that in 2013 when he planted tobacco on 8 acres of farmland in Clermont, Florida. Today his tobacco is used in cigars by some top cigar manufacturers including Drew Estate who produced the Florida Sun Grown featuring tobacco grown in the Sunshine state. The cigar was blended by Willy Herrera and we tell if a cigar containing Florida Sun Grown tobacco is worthy of The AshHoles.

Dominguez and Scott Weeks would launch their company Iconic Leaf Cigars and the brand Recluse and the secret to their success is the special fermentation process they use for all their tobacco with each cigar being rolled entubar for a perfect draw every time. Founded in 2011 by Reinier Lorenzo HVC was started as a way of paying homage to Havana City, where Reinier lived for most of his life. The HVC goal is to keep the Cuban tradition of hand-made cigars alive and well with products that are inspired by the cigar tradition of Cuba, specifically Havana City, while incorporating the customs of their adopted U.S. home. On today’s show we fire up one of the hottest brands from HVC, the HVC Broadleaf which as you would guess features a wrapper from Connecticut.

Toscano 1492 Anno Domini Review
As we approach Columbus Day we decide to light up the Toscano 1492 Anno Domini cigar which was launched as a limited edition in 2007. It was a success, but it wasn't until 2013 that it became possible to source the same type of tobacco of the highest quality from Tennessee and so offer the 100% pure American tobacco cigar on a continuous basis. And it is precisely the use of these premium Tennessee tobaccos that inspires its name and creation: a tribute to the discovery of America.

Hoyo de Monterrey Petit Robusto Cigar Review
One of the questions we get asked most is, do you guys carry Cuban cigars. The answer is no. Which is usually followed with, “Are Cubans as good as they say they are?” It’s a debate held among many cigar smokers, and we will let you know our thoughts if it’s worth the hype, or if it is a myth that should not be believed The guys will take a look at the Hoyo de Monterrey Petit Robusto which comes from an island 90 miles south of Miami. Is it any better then a Nicaraguan, Honduran or Dominican cigar, or is just the fact they are not available at US Tobacconists.
