In this Range Report I get a chance to shoot one of the finest custom 1911s on the market. This is a Nighthawk Custom Sandhawk. This is a very unique 1911 with all the bells and whistles. One gun, one gunsmith is there motto and each gun is hand fit and finished. This might be one of the nicest firearms I have ever reviewed and might be the most expensive. How does it shoot? In this Range Report I shoot the Sig Sauer P227. This is a .45 ACP double stack version of the P220. This is a discontinued but highly collectable model. It is also a gun I have always wanted and I am glad I got a chance to handle one due to a local fan and subscriber lending it to the channel. In this Range Report I take a look at and shoot the Sig Sauer MPX K pistol. This gun is chambered in 9mm and is the shorter version of the standard MPX. This is civilian version (semi-auto) of the MPX sub machinegun and uses a rotating bolt locking mechanism. It is about the size of an Hk MP5 and I think is Sig's competition to it. In this range report I get some range time on two FN Five-SeveNs. These are on loan to the channel from David and I am grateful for this opprotunity. This is a pistol I have always been very interested in and being able to shoot and spend time with is a real treat. This firearm is interesting from a historical, mechanical and political standpoint. This Range Report is kind of a historical one. I get to borrow and shoot a Romanian Tokarev pistol. This example is from 1953 and is in excellent shape. I was so surprised by how well built it is and at the performance of the 7.62x25 cartridge. It was really cool to get some range time with a piece of Cold War era history. In this review I get the chance to take to the range one of the most underrated revolvers that is in standard production. This is the 686 plus with the 6 inch barrel. This is the stainless steel version of the 586 and has the 7 shot cylinder. This is a K frame revolver and has a great trigger right out of the box. Even though this is not a custom shop gun, I personally feel this is a very soft shooting and very accurate offering for the price. I can now say that without a doubt, this is one of the finest production AR type rifles I have ever handled. In this video I field strip and show how I disassemble and reassemble the Hk (Heckler & Koch) USC. This is their self loading carbine chambered in .45 ACP. This is the civilian version of the Hk UMP and comes apart for cleaning a little different as the parts can not be compatible between the UMP and the USC.
