Current cultural and geopolitical issues are forcing churches to reveal their true colors. This is causing the fence-sitters, those who don't take their walk with Christ seriously, to choose a side. This is good. The church needs this; at least the church in the United States does. For as long as I can remember, forty-ish years or so, the church in our culture has been in a place of great comfort and little conviction spiritually speaking. I know there are always the outliers, churches here and there taking it seriously, and you can definitely point to the Jesus Movement as a genuine revival, but in general we have been asleep at the wheel when it comes to being radical in our commitment to Jesus.

Preaching the Gospel comes at a price! Paul invites Timothy into a place of suffering as a consequence for the Gospel. The encouragement is to not be ashamed of Jesus, not of Paul His prisoner, but to be willing to go through hardships for the cause of Christ! Are you willing to pay the price in order to preach the Gospel?

God made a covenant with Noah, and all living things perpetually, to never destroy life and the earth with a world-wide flood again. God also gave a sign of His covenant that still appears in the sky today. The rainbow is a reminder of God's great faithfulness to keep His Word!

We're currently experiencing the crossover from technology being beneficial for people to technology being used to control people. I'm not just talking about using technology to influence people's decision-making and what information they're receiving, but actual physical and mental control over a person's body.

We are beginning our study through Paul's last letter in the New Testament and his last letter before his execution. 2 Timothy is a powerful encouragement from the great apostle to young Timothy to persevere during present trials as well as future testing. In verses 1-7 we see Paul encouraging Timothy in his genuine faith and challenging him to hold nothing back in his calling.

In Genesis chapter 9 we see God command Noah to be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth with people. God loves people; they are the pinnace of HIs creation. In God's perfect wisdom, He does not limit the population of the earth. We also see in verses 5-6 that not all life has equal value. God values human life above all other life.

Forced validation of insane ideas (a boy can be a girl; a girl can be a boy .. or toaster .. or a vacuum..) points to the soon return of Christ. The satanic far left push to normalize sexually perverted and evil ideas among our children and young adults lines up with one description of the Tribulation Period in Revelation 9:21; sexual immorality will abound. The people pushing legislation and ideas that promote gender identity in schools and in the public square are (knowingly or unknowingly) helping to set up the Anti-Christ system. This is evil. Please see through the obvious smoke screens they use by naming said policies and ideas as "freedom from discrimination" and "protections." They are anything but; they are evil. True freedom from such demonic thinking can only be found in Jesus Christ! Find peace in Him today and find the foundation of truth in His Word!

The Apostle Paul concludes his letter to Timothy (Pastoring in Ephesus) by challenging him to fight the good fight of faith and finish well. He includes in his challenge instruction for wealthy Christians and ends with another exhortation about false teachers. The moral fabric that was once woven through society is gone and not coming back! We have entered the days of Noah (and Lot) where moral wickedness dominates most of the culture. This is heart-breaking to watch. Fortunately, for the believer, this is yet another indication that the return of our Savior is fast approaching!
