If you smoke vapes and e cigarettes, you're an absolute loser. Stirling Cooper discusses the problems associated with e-cigarettes and vapes. He highlights the popularity of these vaping products among young people (Gen Z) and the harmful chemicals found in their aerosols. Stirling presents research that e cigarette aerosols contain ultra fine particles that worsen lung conditions, and that at least 10 chemicals in e-cigarettes and vapes are identified as carcinogens and reproductive toxins. The primary component of these products, propylene glycol, can cause irritation and asthma, and when heated, it produces a known carcinogen. The concentration of most chemicals in vaping aerosols is comparable to or higher than that in conventional tobacco cigarettes. Formaldehyde, a chemical used to preserve dead bodies, can be found in higher concentrations than nicotine. The flavorings in e-cigarettes are also found to be hazardous. According to research daily users of e-cigarettes and vapes have double the risk of experiencing a heart attack. Stirling discusses the negative effects of these products on reproductive health, citing a study on rats that showed a decrease in testosterone levels and sperm count after exposure to e-liquid. Stirling does not completely condemn smoking, and suggests that commercial cigarettes are worse than smoking natural tobacco cigars. In fact, there are some known benefits of nicotine. Stirling concludes by stating the importance of understanding what one puts into their body and remarks that he never hear a woman say that she finds a vaping man more attractive.
