Which is the best calendar? Which is the original calendar? Which is the most accurate calendar? The Essene? The Jewish? The Gregorian? The truth is, all of these calendars are efforts to repair a broken calendar based on a broken solar system. None are original. Many are claiming that the theme of 2 Thessalonians is the rapture, therefore apostasia in 2:3 should be understood as a reference to the rapture, not apostasy. In this video we examine the context and show that the theme is tribulation and the day of the Lord. The rapture is mentioned in 2:1 because is it God's promise that our earthly tribulation will come to an end, and we will not see the heightened tribulation of the day of the Lord. Did all the versions of the Bible have "departure" in 2 Thessalonians 2:3 for the translation of apostasia until the Rheims in 1582? Did the translators of the older versions mean physical departure when they used "departure"?
