This is the same video that I uploaded yesterday with a more attractive thumbnail. I am trying an experiment to see how much difference thumbnails make. Evidence is provided to show that the prophecy of the destruction of Babylon in Jeremiah 50-51 was fulfilled in the era of the divided Greek empire and the Parthian empire. It was fulfilled more by policy than war.

We recently passed the feast of trumpets. This feast is one of the seven feasts that God gave Israel. It is the first of the three fall feasts. Some Christians believe that the rapture could be associated with this feast because the Lord already filled the four spring feasts. How are we supposed to calculate the date of the feast of trumpets?

Somehow I mispoke and said tree of life instead of tree of knowledge. Some of you caught it. Thanks for pointing it out. Some sweet day we will be removed from this lie-filled world and taken to glory. Then we will be taught the ways and truth of God in perfection. Every lie, great or small, that tarnished our testimony will be removed. We will all be on the same page. Then we will come down with the Lord Jesus at Armageddon to establish his kingdom. All the ungodly and all ungodliness will be removed. All liars and all lies will be removed. The earth will be without lies for 1000 years. Satan will be loosed for a short season to work his wicked magic among the ungodly. Then the rebellion will be resolved, all of the ungodly will be cast into the lake of fire, and lies will be removed from the universe for ever. Never again will a single lie ever defile the family of God.

There has been much chatter and excitement recently in prophetic circles about the Messiah 2030 theory and its implications for a rapture in 2023. Is the theory legit? Is there any meat on the bones of this theory? Does this theory tell us that the rapture MUST happen in 2023? Is this theory science or superstition?

The rapture of the church is imminent. Of this there is no doubt. We could meet the Lord in the clouds in the very near future. But while we have a precious promise that we will be removed from earth prior to the tribulation, we have no promise that we will be removed prior to hard times. Tribulation, persecution, suffering for Christ, and suffering for righteousness are part of the Christian's lot in life. Things could get uncomfortable here in the West, especially America, before the rapture trumpet sounds. We could see significantly more tribulation stage setting. The fact is, there are indications in Scripture that the church will experience exceptional trial prior to the rapture.

What is the difference between mere error and the spirit of error? How can we discern the difference between error (a mistake) and the spirit of error (commitment to an error)? How important is truth? Should we always value unity over truth? What happens if we value unity over truth on important points of doctrine?

There has been much excitement in the past couple years about the red heifers that were shipped from Texas to Israel. This excitement is not unreasonable. Red heifers are an important (indeed vital) part of the Jewish plans to rebuild the temple and restart temple sacrifices. Apart from a true red heifer, the plans are stymied. The recent batch of heifers will attain the threshold age of their third year this fall. What will happen after that? This should be an exciting and illuminating interview. Mondo Gonzales is an expert on the subject. His book on the subect, The Red Heifer Ritual, was just published and is available on Amazon and in the Prophecy Watchers bookstore.

Revelation 10 is a short chapter, but it covers some fascinating and mysterious subjects: the seven thunders, the statement that "there is no more time," and the mystery of God that is finished when the seventh trumpet is sounded.
