Revelation 3:10 --- Tereo Ek --- Keep From
With numerous Greek references, I demonstrate that "keep from," τηρεω εκ (tereo ek) in the Greek, means "keep from," not "keep through." Then I demonstrate that tereo ek in John 17 is not an argument against the pretribulation rapture. John 17 keeps the church from spiritual harm at the hands of Satan while in a world filled with trials (the word of Christ's patience). Revelation 3:10 keeps the church from the hour of trial because she has kept the word of Christ's patience. In other words, the church gets the blessing of Revelation 3:10 because she was faithful in the time of John 17. The hour of trial will engulf the entire world, and therefore the only way for the church to be kept from the hour will be for her to be removed from the earth prior to the hour.

Margaret MacDonald: Taught Prewrath Not Pretrib
Contrary to the assertions of many prophecy teachers, the pretribulation rapture teaching cannot be traced to a revelation that Margaret MacDonald, a Scottish false-prophetess, received in 1830 from a deceiving spirit. If you examine the source materials for Margaret's revelations and the beliefs of the Catholic Apostolic Church (the Irvingite movement), you will see that she taught a pre-wrath rapture---the church goes through 3.5 years of tribulation, then is raptured prior to a short period of wrath. So Margaret MacDonald is not the source of the pretribulation rapture. She is the source of the prewrath rapture. In other words, it is the pre-wrath rapture that is traced to a revelation from a deceiving spirit.

Baptism With Fire: An Amazing Prophetic Truth.
What is the baptism with fire? Is it a Pentecostal experience? Or is it a prophetic event in the last days? If we let the Bible explain it, we discover that the baptism with fire is an amazing prophetic truth. The nation of Israel will be baptized with fire in the last days, even as she was baptized in the Red Sea at the time of her exodus from Egypt. God will use fire to deliver Israel and judge her enemies.

Work Out Your Own Salvation — Explained
Philippians 2:12, "work out your own salvation," has perplexed many Christians. In this video I explain the meaning of the Greek word katergazomai (work out) and the sense of the passage. We do not work for salvation. As a farmer works his field, so we exploit the opportunity that has been freely given to us in Christ to increase our spiritual profit.

The Typology of Lot's Deliverance
While Lot's deliverance in Luke 17:28-32 can certainly be used as an illustration of the rapture of the church, it more closely resembles the deliverance of the believers from the judgment of fire in the day that the Lord descends from heaven ... the day of the Lord. Each of the deliverances in the last days — the rapture of the church, the preservation through the seventieth week, and preservation in the day of the Lord — all have their own distinct typologies in the OT and the Gospels.

"One Taken" is not the Rapture
Many prophecy teachers teach that "one taken" in Matthew 24 and Luke 17 is the rapture of the church. I understand why. It does bear a resemblance to the rapture. I myself have used them as types of the rapture. But it is a mistake to teach that these passage are directly addressing the rapture of the church. In this video I give five reasons why this "taking" is associated with Armageddon and the second coming, not the rapture of the church. And I show from the Bible what event at the second coming involves a fifty-fifty split of the ungodly and the godly.
