World’s Fastest Shed Hits Record Breaking 96mph | Ridiculous Rides
British gardener Kevin Nicks has smashed through his official record for the world’s fastest shed - by reaching a top speed of 96.8mph. The 52 year-old, from Chipping-Norton in Oxfordshire, surpassed his previous record by 8mph on Saturday August 19, at the Wheelie and Top Speed Championships event at Elvington Airfield in York. Kevin was hoping to break the 100mph mark and only fell short due to high winds and adverse weather conditions. But thanks to the added nitrous boost he recently installed on the back of the unorthodox vehicle, Kevin was able to power through and officially break his existing record.

Mad Max Fan Recreates Original Interceptor Car
A movie-loving petrolhead has spent $125,000 to create his dream car – the Mad Max Interceptor. Michigan born Dale Walter, 50, fell in love with the powerful vehicle when he watched George Miller's seminal film over thirty years ago in a tiny theatre, where he told his friend 'someday I will own that car'. The famous car has featured in three of filmmaker Miller's four pictures, including the latest Mad Mad: Fury Road, starring British actor Tom Hardy in the title role. In 2008, Dale commissioned specialist company Mad Max Cars to convert his 1972 Australian Ford Falcon into the iconic Interceptor – a process which took five years and $125,000.

A GENIUS mechanic has merged a 32ft houseboat with a three-wheel tractor to create the most unorthodox vehicle – an amphibious driving houseboat. In the summer of 2016, Theon Parseghian used a derelict 1967 houseboat and a crop-sprayer tractor to engineer a practical vehicle that operates on both land and water. Theon, who spent $10,000 bringing his project to life, originally built the vehicle because he thought it would be “cool” to do so, but since then more than 500 people turned up to witness its launch in New York.

Known as Team Kid KJ, the team was formed in 2010 by monster truck enthusiast Tod Weston and his son, Kaid ‘KJ’ Jaret Olson-Weston, 14, who was the squad’s first member. Built by master mechanic and Naples, Idaho-native Jimmy Driver, the 10ft high, 20,000lbs beast known as ‘Mortis’ has been causing a stir in the local community. Supported by six massive 60-inch tires, Mortis was assembled entirely from scrap parts, including the chassis of a 1967 Cadillac superior, as well as parts from school buses and tractors.
