Mechanic Builds 130 Mph Rat Rod Named After His Daughter
A master mechanic has become the unofficial king of rat rods in New Zealand, after building a series of incredible rat rod masterpieces in his home garage. David Jeffery, of Rolleston, has always had a passion for cars, but started making his own creations seven years ago, when he produced the award winning ‘BellaRat’. Named after his daughter, Isabella, the vehicle took four months to build and wowed the crowds at the 2012 Beach Hop – an annual New Zealand festival and car show where BellaRat scooped the overall prize for top car. David has since single-handedly produced five other incredible cars, including a converted semi truck, appropriately called ‘SemiRat’ which would lead David to yet more award success at Beach Hop 2016, where it too won the top prize. He now specializes in building rat rods - the spectacular custom cars that mix old and new parts and often emulate the hot rods of the 1930s, 40s, and 50s.
Building cars are just fun to create and you are not quite sure how they are going to look when you are finished. Some of the best cars have been built by hand. David creates just that, works of art, unlike anything you have ever seen on the road. He has always loved cars and for the past seven years, he has used that passion to build cars that he is proud of. Most of the vehicles he creates can be described as unique. Most of the vehicles he loves to build are Rat Rods. Building a Rat Rod’s inexpensive but fun to drive. Rat Rods are not always the prettiest thing on the road but they are well-built. David is the original creator of the Rat Rod. The car took roughly four months to complete. The motor was a small box Chevrolet motor and runs into an auto part that allows owners to make them louder or quieter.
There are shotgun shells placed on the car for the airbag system. The engine is made up of a lot of different parts from various other cars as well as some piece fabricated in his shop. David also put a stereo system in the Rat Rod which is extremely rare because old cars typically do not have radios. Subwoofers also complete the system for the best sound. The cost to build the Rat Rod was around twelve-thousand dollars. David has been offered quite a bit of money for the Rat Rod; however, because he named the car “BellaRat” after his daughter the car is really special to him. As a result, he has not sold it and does not intend to.
His wife supports his work of building cars. Sometimes she will help him in the shop during production. David appreciates her help.
Most of the cars that David builds look unfinished because they are not painted but he appreciates the rustic look so he does not paint most of them. David has won plenty of awards for his cars. He considers winning the awards a huge honor and achievement. He will continue to build cars because people love to see something different after he finishes each car.

Halo Fan Builds A Real Life Warthog
The power application machine M12, mostly known as "Warthog" is a ground-based army cross-country off-road vehicle, operated by the United Nations Space Command. In view of its versatility, the M12 serves as the base platform for a variety of variations in the Armed Forces of the United Nations Space Command, the most common being the light M12 reconnaissance vehicle equipped with a turret machine gun providing basic defenses. Also, the "Warthog" can be equipped with a gun or a missile turret, which can be used for both ground and air targets.
The M12 PAM is the main type of ground equipment of the UNSC, whose range of applications ranges from conventional reconnaissance to a component of motorized infantry squads. Its effectiveness is largely confirmed by the operational lifetime: for the first time presented as a prototype in 2319 and put into mass production in 2321, the "Warthog" has been in the service of the UNSC for almost 240 years and, despite the improvements and updates that have been introduced over time, they are still the most recognizable technique in the entire UNSC fleet. The "Warthog" in their modern form are in the technical UNSC arsenal for over fifty years and are distinguished by their increased mobility, provided by the management of all wheels, all-wheel drive and a hydrogen internal combustion engine equipped with a manual transmission.
One man has spent five years, and thousands of dollars, single-handedly recreating the iconic Warthog truck from the Halo video games. Bryant Havercamp, a phone technician from Michigan, built the incredibly-detailed replica completely by himself, using traditional fabrication methods, a 3D printer, and the frame of a 1984 Chevy K10. The fully street-legal recreation is based on a 3D model extracted directly from the Halo game, allowing Bryant to match the truck’s measurements to the in-game version. Bryant told Barcroft Media: “Most people when they see this thing are just absolutely floored with how realistic it looks."
Most people are generally floored after seeing how realistic this vehicle looks. Bryant Havercamp from Linwood, Michigan is the owner and builder of the replica of the Warthog from Halo. He built the vehicle from the ground up completely on his own. It took him five years of labor, thousands of man-hours, thousands of dollars and a few times he nearly lost his life in the process of building. However, the love towards this game prevailed: he is a big Halo fan, he has played this game since it came out back in 2003. He was trying to build the vehicle as close to the original "Warthog" as possible.
"It is really exhilarating because it is one of the most bad-ass things you can drive," says Havercamp.
"I was surprised when he first decided to do it. He bought a truck and totally stripped it down to just about nothing and started over with it," remembers Cheryl, Bryant's mother.
Everywhere he goes, Bryant seems to turn heads with his "Warthog". People are stopping, asking him if they can take pictures, asking questions about it. They may not recognise it is a "Warthog" but that does not prevent them from being fascinated.

America's Youngest Pro Female Monster Truck Driver
It is quite amazing when you see new feats being accomplished in sports or hobbies. Whether it be the oldest person ever to do something, the fastest ever to do it, or even the youngest ever. That is what we have in this video, the youngest professional female monster truck driver. If you don’t know much about monster trucks, it is very entertaining and definitely brings about some great fun to watch. It is essentially a truck that is on giant wheels and takes off on ramps, drives on smaller cars to demolish them, and even races. It is very fun to watch if you are into cars, racing, or just demolition. Monster truck driving probably doesn’t have too many female professional drivers and this young woman is the youngest at 20 years old. This is amazing, being a professional at what she loves. Congratulations to her!
Rosalee Ramer is a 20-year-old from Watsonville, California. She has been in love and intrigued by cars and trucks for as long as she can remember and she says she was 13 when she crushed her first car! She is the driver for the WildFlower monster truck and she even says that some people try to give her a hard time because of her age and because she is a female, but she doesn’t let it get to her. It is important to have tough skin and keep your head up when following your dreams. This is definitely something that can inspire all ages and types of people who are following their dreams, you always have to keep your head up and push through!
Rosalee has actually been racing professionally with monster trucks since she was 14 years old! That is quite an early start in your career, we’re sure more of her friends were concerned about typical High School problems, while she was out there racing professionally! She can not even remember when her love started, she just began working on trucks with her father, who actually had a monster truck. Whether it be holding flashlights or moving tires she was already ready to be around the trucks! Her first time actually driving one was when she was 11 and her father let her take it for a ride in the driving pit to practice. She has a very close relationship with her father, who we’re sure inspired her love for trucks. They travel together frequently for all her races.
Her truck, WildFlower, is quite an old car. It’s from 1932 and sits on 5-foot-tall tires, that’s roughly the same size as Rosalee! It definitely gets into some scrapes with Rosalee but it has treated her well throughout her journey. Rosalee and her truck do some pretty crazy things together, such as fly 40 feet in the air! Rosalee currently goes to Georgia Tech and studies Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Design. She sounds like a very smart girl with a good head on her shoulders and it sounds like her love for trucks has inspired her career path greatly. We hope she continues to follow her dreams and sticks with her hobbies!

I Built A Life-Size Remote-Controlled Corvette | RIDICULOUS RIDES
A COMPUTER genius has managed to build a full size remote-controlled Corvette that wouldn’t look out of place in the latest Fast and Furious film. Two years ago, 34-year-old Bjorn Harms decided to pursue his childhood dream by creating a full-scale vehicle that can be manoeuvred with just a small remote. Bjorn grew up watching the Back To The Future movies and was mesmerised by Doc racing around the DeLorean without anyone sitting in the driver’s seat. Wanting to emulate this fascinating scene, Bjorn, a computer technician from Urmond, Netherlands, decided to apply his knowledge and expertise to a 2006 Corvette C6 – and he hasn’t looked back since. This Is World's First Fan-Built Optimus Prime Truck
A dedicated father with no mechanical training has manufactured the world’s first fan-built Optimus Prime truck. Back in the summer of 2016, 36-year-old Joe Fiduccia worked day and night recreating the giant full-size replica that weighs around 21,000lbs. Optimus Prime is one of the most renowned characters to hit our screens from the hugely successful Transformers franchise that has taken more than 4 billion dollars at the box office worldwide. And being the determined father that he is, Joe from Monroe County, Pennsylvania, managed to produce this impeccable replica in order to inspire his 10-year-old son that anything is possible.
Joe says that this is the only fan-built replica and the other two trucks are owned by Paramount. He also adds that the inspiration behind this truck was his son because he loves the Transformers movies as much as his dad does. Why Optimus Prime? Because he is the character that has strong morals, strong ethics. He is always making sure everyone is okay. Before he could start any work on the vehicle, Joe chose to get permission from Hasbro – the toy company that owns the Transformers products. Of course, they got the approval and from the time he got Hasbro’s permission, to the time that Optimus was out on the road, it was about a year.
In addition to weighing a colossal 21,000lbs, the spectacular truck is around 30ft long and 12ft wide. And that means another tough job for Joe - the cleaning. “Unfortunately, there is no car wash big enough to take Optimus Prime,” he said.
“You know, I couldn’t have built Optimus Prime without the full support of my family. It makes a big difference when you go up to somebody and you tell them no matter what’s going on in your life, no matter how impossible something seems, whether you are a kid or grown adult don’t ever be afraid to try. Don’t ever be afraid to pursue what seems impossible. Because you never know, one day, you could be behind the driver seat of Optimus Prime.” - Joe says. His words are a real motivation to us all.
This is the only fan-built replica that’s out there, there’s only two other trucks like it, and those are trucks who are owned by Paramount. Meet Joe Fiduccia from Monroe County, Pennsylvania, the owner of world’s first fan-built Optimus Prime truck from Transformers, the Age of Extinction. The thirty-six-year-old father has rebuilt a full-size replica of one of the most renowned vehicles from the Transformer movies.
Many of you know that Transformers has fast become one of the biggest franchises in the world. In the 80s he was the leader of the autobots, he still is leader of the autobots. He is the character who has the strong morals, with strong ethics, he’s always looking after the little guy, making sure that everybody else is taken care of. However, that wasn’t the main reason why Joe decided to build the giant replica.
Namely, the inspiration behind this truck was from his son. Apparently Ryan loves the transformers just as much as his father does. He probably has hundreds of characters in his room and to be able to build something like this for him, one might have a strong motive! This inspired father-of-the-year got onto it right away! With the help of close friends and external parties, Joe worked tirelessly day and night to complete the job and own the world’s first fan-built replica.
Given its size, you can only image the work it takes to wash this baby clean. Of course, there is no car-wash big enough to take Optimus Prime through, so washing this massive vehicle is the full-time job in itself, which takes approximately 5 hours. The truck alone has a Detroit DD 15 motor in it, it’s a standard Detroit motor, no fabrications or modifications have been done to it. Optimus has maxed out at 65 mph, it can’t go any faster than that!
The paint skin it’s quite intense, he’s got the red and blue warrior colors on it, and it also has a bunch of autobot logos all over it. The central piece autobot was a solid block of aluminum which was custom-cut to fit the contours of the hood, and that was actually one of the most complicated pieces they had to make! Nonetheless, the end result was definitely worth it!

President Trump Devotees Build Outrageous Trump Mobile
No matter how many are uploaded every hour, the world of the Internet will never have enough of car crash videos. No matter the circumstances or location, getting to witness something devastating like so makes you rethink your own actions and decisions, then throw everything in the air and say “to hell with it, I’m going to live my life"!
Two of Donald Trump’s biggest super-fans have manufactured a wacky vehicle to honor his time as US President. Decorated in red, white and blue, ‘The Trump Mobile’ is made of two Mercedes Benz wagons and other parts from 43 different cars – and it is covered in pro-Trump signs and memorabilia including a mini-Trump statue perched on the roof. Finnish couple, Karl and Nina Lindroos, spend most of their time living in Florida and they are responsible for the build that they believe helped Trump gain power in the 2016 US election. And the married duo are showing no signs of slowing down as they are hoping to use the ‘mobile’ to help the controversial leader retain his power in 2020.
This might be a moving tribute, but you can't debate that its the best one you've seen. As far as Trump supporters go, this guy definitely takes the first place. This couples car might be the craziest thing you see all week. Mechanic Builds Hypercar From Scratch In His Own Shed
A talented mechanic has built Australia’s first 'hyper car' – in his shed. The Quantum GP700 was born out of the seven-year passion project of its creator, Jeff David. Aimed at producing breathtaking performance in a road legal car – the Quantum can reach 0-60mph in a staggering 2.6 seconds. Jeff, who resides in Victoria, Australia, worked for around 1,800 hours to develop his masterpiece that is now worth approximately $700,000.
Another thing Jeff can be proud about is having the best wife, because Mrs. David agreed to support the family full-time for two years while David built his car. The endeavor was more than a full-time job - it was an obsession. Jeff was up at 5:30 am till 7 pm every day, seven days a week.
Beginning with a stock Ariel Atom car, Jeff completely dismantled it and started from scratch. He replaced every body panel with new ones he made from his own carbon fiber-Kevlar creation. The suspension alone has been a 30-year long project in the making. Jeff also fabricated the front wing with a design based on a Formula 3 wing. He even customized the steering wheel!
The 700 in GP700 stands for both its output and weight of 700 kg, or 1,543 pounds. In kilograms, therefore, the GP700 has a one-to-one power-to-weight ratio. With an estimated value of $700,000, David is adamant he won’t sell his creation, but he may be willing to build another one for a paying customer.
With that said: car fanatics, start saving your money!

Speedycopter, World's First Amphibious Car Made From Helicopter
We are sure you have already heard about amphibious cars but check out this speedycopter, a street-legal amphibious car made from a helicopter. Ambitious mechanic Jeff Bloch has spent 3000 hours converting a Vietnam attack chopper and an 86 Toyota chassis into one vehicle capable of operating on land and water. In addition to being street-legal and race-ready, it is also fully amphibious. Are you impressed?
Jeff Bloch, 45, also known as the Speedycop, worked hard and managed to merge a Vietnam attack chopper with an 86 Toyota chassis and create one very unique and practical vehicle. In 2016, Jeff and his team joined forces and worked hard for six months to successfully built one incredible ‘speedycopter’ vehicle. It is a 1969 Bell OH-58 Kiowa Vietnam attack aircraft sitting on an 86 Toyota van chassis. Using a 2002 Audi Quattro V6 engine, the vehicle can do 0-60mph in an impressive eight seconds.
Jeff is well-known in the engineering world for his whacky creations, including the world’s first sideways VW camper van and an upside down Camwith aro racer, and now adding this amphibious vehicle to the collection, Jeff admitted that the helicopter car is one of his most popular builds.
Obviously, people are amazed with this creation because they haven’t seen a road-racing helicopter before, and certainly not one that is amphibious. Unfortunately, Jeff and his team had only two months to enjoy their little invention, because their beloved helicopter car dramatically caught on fire and was destroyed soon after.
