Dr. Andy Bostom, an accomplished epidemiologist, was invited to speak at a RI Republican State Central meeting in East Providence, RI. Dr. Bostom covered five sections of the state’s COVID response along with the reluctance of Rhode Department of Health’s to release modeling criteria that triggered dystopian regulations of lock downs, forced masking, 6’ social distancing and vaccine mandates. The five areas covered by Dr. Bostom were the following. 1) Covid PCR testing in Rhode Island QUESTION(S): Were you ever PCR tested for covid? When you were PCR tested, were you given your “cycle threshold” value, specifically? Related APRA filed with State Rep. Patricia Morgan, regarding the ~first 5000 PCR tests performed in the state lab, & illuminating data (finally!) obtained. 2) The Rhode Island Covid-19 Hospitalization Models of April 16, 2020 QUESTION(S): --Do any of you recall watching then Governor Raimondo’s nationally televised presser (live on C-Span or on local TV), April 16, 2020, where she unveiled with great fanfare the covid-19 hospitalization model prediction for the next ~2-weeks, i.e., 4/27/20, & 5/3/20? --Do you recall how ~many Rhode Islanders were supposed to be hospitalized for covid on those dates? --Do you know how many Rhode Islanders were hospitalized with, as opposed to for, we now know, covid, on those dates? Chippendale, seeking modelers, rationale, any explanation for model performance. 3) Covid-19 Mortality Risk in RI QUESTION(S): --Do you know how former Covid response Director, & later Acting RIDOH Director (& now NY State Commissioner of Health) Dr. James McDonald defined “covid death” in RI under oath during the Southwell v. McKee litigation, in 2021? --Do you know how many children, and or adolescents through age 17 have died from covid in RI? --Do you know how many children, and or adolescents through age 17 in RI (as an ~ percentage), CDC estimates were infected by SARSCOV2/covid as of December 2022? --Do you know the approximate percentages of deaths with (not from) covid by age in RI? Chippendale, seeking RIDOH communications rationalizing masking, specifically, with Brown University & URI 5) Covid-19 Vaccine Mandates in RI especially among HCWs, and college students --What evidence did RIDOH rely upon when it “recommended” imposing the vaccine mandates? --How many URI students were hospitalized because of a covid caused lower respiratory tract infection before the vaccines were available? --What empirical evidence do we have regarding the “success” of the vaccine mandates in preventing covid infections in RI?

The Rhode Island Family Institute has been presenting fact base evidence on how pornography in the home, schools and private viewing diminishes the sanctity of the family unit, marriage and childhood development. Three separate speakers each spoke on a unique and separate facets of the dangers and destructive nature of pornography. In this section, child advocate Bob Chiaradio, addresses the struggles of removing cartoon porn books in school libraries. He shows images that any adult would find troublesome to know that public schools are keeping these porn books on the shelves for any student to view.

The Chariho Forgotten Taxpayers group was cofounded by President Louise Dinsmore and Clay Johnson. The group seeks to educate the community with information on topics that might remain hidden from view, misreported or underreported at best. On September 22nd, 2023, the Chariho Forgotten Taxpayers PAC held a fundraiser event with approximately 60 attendees. Featured guest speaker was Nicole Solas who is often seen on the national stage. Nicole Solas became renown to the RI and national scene when she simply requested information from the South Kingstown, RI school committee. Her children were to be enrolled and as a responsible parent became interested in the school curricula. In this speaking event, Nicole goes through a timeline where she evolved from a curious parent to becoming a popular guest contributor on major network news channels. At this event, Nicole demonstrates through video, texts and information gathered through her journey to show how schools are reluctant to provide information to parents that file APRAs (Access for Public Records). She was sued first by the South Kingstown school committee and subsequently by NEA for her efforts.

Westerly, RI resident and parents advocate Bob Chiaradio puts a spotlight on the back door funding to install artificial turf for Augeri field. The taxpayers had already rejected the project but the town and school committees each coughed up $500K without taxpayer approval. Public fundraising attempts have brought in an additional $1ooK bringing the total to $1.1M for the proposed $1.4M needed. No matter how the avenues taken to pay for this project, the Westerly taxpayers will foot the bill and pay for a project they’ve rejected. Bob calls for the resignations of former school committee chair Diane Bowdy for allegedly keeping secret the funding plans for Augeri Field, Superintendent Garceau and Assistant Superintendent over performance issues and failure to advance education scores in the public school system.

Bob Chiaradio spoke at a Westerly, RI school committee meeting where agenda items are open to public comment. Mr. Chiaradio listed four items of concern to the committee that seem to be hold public sentiment with disdain and reckless ignorance. 1. Request the number of students exiting the Westerly public school system per month 2. Certain items under the forum policy 1032 are unenforceable per RI Statute 16-2-9 as an attempt to control, limit or forbid what is spoken at the podium during public forum based on subject conveyance of what’s considered truth, facts or valid opinion 3. A compromise of leaving the public forum at five minutes each for agenda and open public forum 4. Questionable funding tactics for laying down artificial turf for the high school field. The public voted down such a measure but the attempts to fundraise mirror the public’s disdain for the project. The town and school committees each kicked in $500K using taxpayer funds for a project that was rejected by public vote.

The Rhode Island Republican Conservative Caucus (RIRCC) recently held a breakfast gathering in the RI GOP HQs meeting hall on August 5th, 2023. Pat Trafford, Chairwoman for the RIRCC, kicked off the meeting with a Pledge of Allegiance and introduction of Pastor David Aucoin, President of the Rhode Island Family Institute. The theme for the forum was the Porn Proof Family and three speakers were on hand to discuss the adverse effects of pornography and the challenges in today’s society that seems to have strayed from a solid family foundation with a dad and mom present. Three speakers, Pastor David Aucoin, parents advocate Bob Chiaradio and Dr. Michelle Cretella presented some rather startling fact based evidence on how far portions of society have left the nuclear family in favor of self gratification and permissive nature in relationship to porn and promiscuity. All three gave a formula for correcting the destructive course heading for mankind. The answer? A strong dad in the family unit, observance of the Lord and Faith with the promise of holding marriages in a cherished honor and commitment to each other.

Pastor Aucoin showed the relationship between a strong father figure in a child’s life will lead to a healthy sense of right and might when it comes to living a porn proof life. He stresses the importance of God and Faith in ones live to living a fulfilled existence that influences others to become better.

Bob educated the audience with some presentations and pictorials from cartoon porn books available to minors in Rhode Island public schools. Rhode Island Attorney General Peter Neronha chose not to act on obscenity claims. Rhode Island Department of Education has chosen to approve lesson plans from HealthSmart that include condom hunts, sexual students surveys and pleasurable same sex depictions. He spoke on the challenges he’s been facing with resistance from his own town and school committees in addition to safety concerns with males allowed in females locker rooms at the Westerly YMCA.

Dr. Michelle Cretella gave an outlook on how pornography harms the developing adolescent mind, hinders the thinking process of healthy relationships and the impact on adults in the family unit. She narrates her numerous slides showing statistics from several studies by licensed professionals dealing with the issue of pornography and the harm it places on a civilized society.

Westerly, RI resident Bob Chiaradio voices his dissenting opinion to proposed changes for Article 4 of the School Committee bylaws. In the time since September, 2020, the amount of time that speakers are allotted during the first open forum has been steadily reduced from ten minutes to five minutes and the topics for discussion has also been curtailed to agenda items only. If a speaker did not use all of their time, it was once acceptable to yield the balance of the time to another speaker. This is no longer allowed. Mr. Chiaradio notes that open forum was once ten minutes and allowed another five minutes after all speakers have had their say at the podium. The current change went to five minutes with additional five minutes for a total of ten minutes. Now, the proposed changes are five minutes first time with additional three minutes thus reducing the amount of time at the podium for any speaker. It appears that the point to the reducing time at the podium is to limit contrary or dissenting views to the activities of the Westerly School Committee.

On July 11th, 2023, the Westerly Town Council stuns the public by allowing Councilor Kevin Lowther to sing what’s commonly known as the black national anthem before the customary Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. What is going on in Westerly, Rhode Island that allows the progressive left to insert itself in the time honored traditions of reciting the Pledge of Allegiance to start off public meetings? Will every unique group be allowed to sing, say a poem, read a manifesto before the Pledge of Allegiance?

The Rhode Island ACLU says a minor's rights to secrecy trumps that of parents when it come to gender preference. The sad part, as if this weren't enough, schools have an obligation to keep those secrets from parents. So parents, step aside. The ACLU says you will be the co-parent if the school allows you to be.

Smithfield, RI School Superintendent Dawn Bartz made suggestions and/or answered questions about parent conferences and the role of the teacher. School committee members asked what actions a teacher might take when questions arise over a student’s wishes to transition or take the path of questioning to transition. In a very round about way to answer, Dawn Bartz replied the students wishes would be honored if they wished the parents not be informed. Committee Chair Richard Iannitelli pressed for direct response. If a parent asks a direct question on their child’s questioning about social or medical transitioning at a parent conference, how would the teacher respond. Superintendent Bartz replied that the student’s wish of secrecy be honored to then which Principal Kelly affirmed the student’s wishes would be honored and the parent would not be informed.

The Smithfield, RI school committee held a public workshop on 6-17-23 to discuss their transgender policy. In a surprising move, the bare naked discussion between members unfolded in clear view. The workshop was to discuss parental notification in any interaction between student and school faculty. Here are three speakers who express their opinions that parents must be notified and looped in the process.

The Smithfield, RI school committee met for a workshop on 6-17-23 to discuss their current transgender policies. In a rather unique offering, the public was invited to view the open and vulnerable discussions by the panel members as they waded through current policies and seek understanding if future updates were needed. Public comment periods followed after a brief five minutes intermission.

Laurie Gaddis Barrett attended a Smithfield, RI school committee workshop for a discussion of their current transgender policy. Speaking on behalf of the well-known parental rights group, ParentsUnitedRI, she offered public comment at the mic following the committee’s discussion of the transgender topic. She offers no legal opinion but reminds the committee that the right of the parent is fundamental and is protected by the 1st, 9nth and 14th amendment. Quickly she brings up the difference of opinions by any panel member does automatically transfer to a state agency or a bureaucrat as they do not have a balanced or equal interest in the minor child. The parent is the best advocate for their own child’s health and safety and should be the sole decision maker even if their child is gender questioning.

Bob recently attended a Smithfield, RI school committee workshop where public comment was planned after the open discussion of their transgender policies by panel members. Bob points out that it is the school department’s obligation to report to the parents or legal guardians should a minor child seek to transition and contacts a school official in their capacity as custodians of their child. He points out that schools are not either mental health or qualified clinicians to determine the correct course for any child seeking to transition as this is solely the decision of the parents or legal guardians. Bob insists the current transgender policy is unjust and unfair and does not serve the best interest of any child.

Nicole Solas attended a workshop held by the Smithfield, RI School Committee on their current school policies regarding transgender students. Speaking on her own behalf, Nicole thanks this committee for being willing to have an honest discussion on a parental right to know about the health and safety of their most precious children. She notes that parents need to know if their child is suffering from a mental health condition known as gender dysphoria although more commonly referred as transgenderism. Nicole also highlights that abiding by a child’s preferred names, pronouns and secrecy to hide choices from the parents is a mental health risk. Parental rights are constitutionally protected but offers that school committees are often scared of lawsuits by the ACLU even if they openly discuss transgender policies. Additionally, she points out that if school directs, instructs, or abets in any discussion of transitioning without parental involvement, they can be open to lawsuits by the parents should any physical, emotional or chemical harm come to their child. At one point, she had to correct a committee member on Federal law.
