Woke Zombie Mob at Women Leaving the Left Event in Austin, TX
Here's a livestream I did of the scene unfolding at our "Women Leaving the Left" event on Friday, June 10, 2022 at the Austin Public Library. It was hosted by Feminists for Free Speech and featured panelists, Meghan Murphy, Michelle Evans, Keri Smith, and Mary Lou Singleton and moderator Isabella Malbin. (Bios below).
A mob of male feminists and social justice activists formed outside to intimidate ticket-holders as they arrived at the library: screaming and calling them transphobes and white nationalists, taking their photo and threatening to dox them. They also banged on the windows of the room for the entire presentation, looking like crazed brain-hungry zombies, trying to drown us out. We continued anyway.
You can watch the panel discussion here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3n_m2yJlbhQ
We come from a variety of political backgrounds and hold a variety of political opinions, but we all agree on the importance of free speech and have found ourselves politically homeless due to the left's increasing support for an ideology that opposes reality, civil liberties, and free speech.
BIOS:
Meghan Murphy is a Canadian writer who abandoned her home country for Mexico, fearful about the Liberal government's abject disregard for Canadians' constitutional rights and their clamp down on free speech. She founded Feminist Current, Canada's leading feminist website and podcast, in 2012, and hosts The Same Drugs on YouTube and Anchor.fm. In 2017 she testified against Bill C-16, Canada's gender identity legislation, at the Senate — among the only feminists in Canada to speak out against this encroachment on women's rights. Meghan was permanently banned from Twitter in 2018 for challenging gender identity ideology and correctly sexing a man. She has travelled the world speaking about gender identity and women's sex-based rights, despite protests at every venue and attempts to no-platform her at every turn.
Michelle Evans is a mother of three and fierce advocate for families and freedom. After being blindsided with trans ideology in her own home and her kids’ schools, she began learning more about this pervasive and destructive movement. As a state legislative candidate, she hopes to introduce measures to protect children from harmful medical procedures and social conditioning.
Keri Smith is the host of Deprogrammed and the founder of Civility Dinners, both of which are committed to fostering conversation, creating a culture that respects freedom of speech, and making space for both reason and faith. A liberal and self-described “former SJW" who spent twenty years in “the SJW Cult,” Smith offers firsthand experience on the Social Justice Left and its growing influence in mainstream culture.
Mary Lou Singleton is a mother, midwife, nurse practitioner and medical freedom activist. Mary Lou has served on the boards of directors of the Midwives Alliance of North America, the National Association of Certified Professional Midwives, the Stop Patriarchy Abortion Rights Freedom Ride, and the Women’s Liberation Front. She has been speaking out against female erasure in midwifery since 2014 and is the author of an open letter to the Midwives Alliance of North America protesting the removal of the words “woman” and “mother” from the organization’s core competencies for midwives documents.
Isabella Malbin is a life coach for sovereign women, a trained hypnotist, passionate birth worker and podcaster. Through one-on-one coaching, Isabella teaches women the tools to stop getting triggered by every-freaking thing, cultivate resilience, increase self-confidence and birth in sovereignty.
On the Whose Body Is It Podcast, Isabella interviews radical women from around the world raising consciousness on the harms of transgender ideology, porn and prostitution and exposing all the things we've been told are good for us as women.
