PETA Claims Cow Milk Is A Symbol Of White Supremacists
PETA is at it again, and better than ever with a new claim saying cow’s milk is “a symbol of white supremacy.” The organization, known for their full name, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals released an article where they stated milk is a symbol used by white supremacists, which is one more reason to ditch dairy completely.
The article reads, “Aside from ‘lactose-tolerant’ white supremacists, cow’s milk really is the perfect drink of choice for all (even unwitting) supremacists since the dairy industry inflicts extreme violence on other living beings.”
The organization believes that cows relate to human culture in three categories: control over their bodies, control over your mind and “might doesn’t make right.” The reason as to why they believe this? Well, according to the activists, cows don’t really have a choice about what is being done to them or their bodies. Their horns are gouged or burned out of their heads, part of their tails can be cut off, and holes are punched through their ears before being “used” for milking purposes.
Still confused? Well, basically, PETA is stating that humans are the only animals who drink milk from other species, and who drink milk beyond infancy. The dairy industry spends millions of dollars funding campaign that urge people to avoid drinking milk, that can cause several health hazards. The article quotes, “Before you pour a glass of the “white stuff,” please remember that it isn’t the “right stuff”.”
PETA believes the cows are suffering inside crumpled, filthy enclosures, forced to produce nearly 10 times as milk as they would naturally. The article even references scenes in “Inglorious Basterds” where one can see Christoph Waltz’s character drinking a glass of milk and “Get Out”, where a character sips the milk, convinced in fact, dairy was a white supremacy symbol indeed.
They say these “white supremacists” are chugging milk to draw attention to a genetic trait that is known to be more common in white people than others-the ability to digest lactose as adults. The animal rights group tweeting its theory, saying it was “One more reason to #Ditchdairy.”

Elton John Reveals Richard Gere and Sylvester Stallone Fought Over Princess Diana
Elton John is finally spilling all the secrets he can because he just can’t hold them in anymore. According to the ‘Candle in the Wind’ singer, Richard Gere and Sylvester Stallone nearly got in a fight over his great friend Diana, Princess of Wales!
The incident took place at a dinner party given by John and David Furnish for Walt Disney Studios Chairman Jeffrey Katzenberg who had recently commissioned Sir Elton John to write the music for The Lion King. In his new memoir, Me: Elton John Official Autobiography, he writes how actor Richard Gere had just split from Cindy Crawford and Princess Diana has just split from Prince Charles, which left the door wide open for new relationships.
The two were reportedly having a deep deep conversation in front of the fireplace, while the hunky Hollywood favorite Sylvester Stallone was looking over in a jealous rage. When the rest of the guests went to sit down for dinner, Stallone and Gere reportedly stayed behind to “settle their differences” over the Princess by having a literal fistfight.
After dinner, the Pretty Woman superstar and Diana (charming as ever) resumed their flirting which promoted in Stallone storming out of the room. According to John, Stallone angrily stated, “I never would have come if I’d known Prince f- -kin’ Charming was gonna be here. If I’d wanted her, I would’ve taken her!” All while this was happening, Princess Diana was “completely unruffled,” because, well, I’m sure she was used to men daydreaming about her all the time.
There still isn't word if the two ended up falling out or not, but we can understand why they fought in the first place. I wonder if Queen Elizabeth or the rest of the Royal Family knows about this? Elton John and Princess Diana were really close friends, so sure, it can definitely be true. Who would you choose, Sylvester Stallone or Richard Gere? Meghan Markle, can we get an inside source?
Princess Diana, who was the first wife of Prince Charles and mother to Prince William and Prince Harry, tragically died in a car crash in Paris while the driver was fleeing paparazzi'. Her activism and glamour made her an international icon and became known for her involvement with the Aids Foundation.

Farmers’ Almanac is Predicting a “Polar Coaster Winter” in 2020
Weather predictions are officially in! Get ready for a winter full of wild temperature swings and some crazy precipitation too. The Farmer’s Almanac for 2020 is out and it’s predicting a winter that it describes as a “Polar Coaster Winter”. Snowfall is going to be a big factor in the winter wildness too according to America’s most trusted weather forecast. Expect greater than average sleet and snow across the eastern third of the country, making things especially frosty. The Great Plains, Midwest, and the Great Lakes are also going to get hit hard.
The west coast — from the southwest and California to the Pacific Northwest — should see relatively normal precipitation levels and normal temperatures. The coldest outbreak by far is going to be right up through the middle of the country, from the Texas Panhandle through the northern plains and up to the Great Lakes. Specifically, the Almanac predicts that late January, or maybe as late as the beginning of February, the entire region is going to get hit with powerful thunderstorms. The storm is going to drag arctic air into the middle of the country and cause temperatures to plummet.
New England will have colder than usual temperatures as well for much of the winter as well, and that region too will see a wintry mix of rain and hefty snowfalls. Oh, and don’t expect spring to bail you out. It’s coming late. The Almanac is calling for a slow-starting spring and a long, arduous thawing process. Multiple parts of the country may be seeing frigid temperatures and even a good amount of snow until April.

Eric Clapton Stopped Playing “Tears in Heaven”, Here’s Why
In 1993, Eric Clapton won best pop vocal performance for his top 10 hit “Tears In Heaven” at the Grammy Awards. The song not only launched his “Unplugged” album to the male Best Pop Vocal Performance slot, but it also earned him the Record of the Year Award along with Song of the Year and was used for the film "Rush."
Although the song is one of the best songs Clapton has done, the story behind it is quite heartfelt. It was written about the death of Clapton’s four-year-old son, Conor. The incident can only be considered a tragic accident. Clapton, who resided full time in London, was in New York when the incident happened. Conor and his mother, Lory Del Santo, were also in New York. While with his mother one day, Conor ran past a recently opened window in the apartment and fell from a window on the 53rd-floor.
For nine months after the incident, Eric Clapton didn’t tour. He spent the entirety of the time processing through and mourning his son’s death. Due to the sensitivity of the subject, many say that it changed his songwriting. “Tears in Heaven” marked a new, more introspective side of Clapton than fans heard before. Eric Clapton asked Will Jennings, who he admired from working with Steve Winwood, to collaborate on the song. Jennings told Clapton that he thought the song was too personal to be co-written but ultimately agreed. Jennings claimed that it was one of the most unique experiences of writing songs that he’s had.
The lyrics of the songs ask some deep questions about death. The first verse of the song jumps right into the grief Clapton was feeling with, “Would you know my name, if I saw you in heaven”. This wasn’t the only song penned in honor of his son. “The Circus has left Town” was also written in Conor’s remembrance. “Tears In Heaven” became Eric Clapton’s best American single.
It landed at number two on Billboard’s hot 100 and remained for 26 weeks. It also became his best American single, selling more than 2,800,000 copies between digital and physical sales. Rolling Stone listed “Tears In Heaven” on their “500 Greatest Songs of All Time” list.
Despite the success, the song was seemingly only meant as a healing catharsis. Clapton announced that he would stop playing the song, along with “My Father’s Eyes” (performed for the first time on MTV Unplugged) in 2004. Luckily, the songwriter brought it back for his 50th Anniversary to share it with new fans.

Kale Flavored Candy Canes Are Coming to Ruin Christmas for All the Children
Archie McPhee has a new flavor of candy cane this holiday season formulated specifically to make kids lose faith in Santa. The new candy cane is kale flavored because if there’s one demographic not being served by Santa’s candy factory in the North Pole it’s the children of fanatical vegan humanists who won’t let their kids celebrate the holidays of an oppressive, patriarchal, colonialist society.
In reality, Archie McPhee knows what they’re doing here. They’re trolling. They’re creating abominations as a form of marketing. Kale candy canes get clicks! Just read their website’s description of the Kale Cane (emphasis mine).
KALE CANDY CANES
– Set of six green & white candy canes
– 5-1/4″ tall with kale flavoring
– Tastes just like the kale you love
– Finally a candy cane everyone can agree on
All your Christmas dreams have come true! Kale Candy Canes are here! No more pesky holiday flavors to worry about, just the bitter grassiness of your favorite vegetable. Talk about a superfood, kale is not only very nutritious but also incredibly delicious. This set of six Kale Candy Canes gives you the flavor of kale with none of the dietary benefits. Plus, the package features a personified kale. Kids love it! Each candy cane is 5-1/4″ tall with leafy green and white stripes.
Archie McPhee also sells ham flavored candy canes, pizza candy canes, mac & cheese candy canes, coal flavored candy canes, bacon-flavored candy canes, and pickle-flavored candy canes. Forget peppermint flavor, it's all about the savory, now.
Worst of all, Archie McPhee sells a flavor of candy cane so foul that even just thinking about it is gag-inducing. These people are sick. This is Frankenstein, Jurrasic Park levels of man’s scientific hubris run amok. On the plus side kale candy canes, clam candy canes, "hamdy canes" and so on all offer incredible opportunities to trick your friends and family into eating awful things. Pink and green candy canes look enticing. Why wouldn’t they try it? (The grey one less so. Clam might be hard to pull off.)

Tom Hanks Reveals He Almost Died While Filming ‘Cast Away’
Tom Hanks had some of Hollywood’s most popular movies in the late ’90s and early 2000s. There is even a real-life restaurant chain named after his iconic "Forrest Gump" character’s shrimping business. Through the decades we’ve gotten to see him star as many different roles both whi
Of all of the Tom Hanks movies, "Cast Away" was one of his most dramatic performances and a crowd favorites. Director Robert Zemeckis’ Golden Globe-winning film grossed over $429 million at the box office and is rated 88% on Rotten Tomatoes.
The story centers on a FedEx employee, Chuck Noland, who survives a plane crash and lands on a deserted island in the South Pacific ocean. Using the remains of the plane crash’s cargo he fights to survive for as long as he can (4 years) alone, along with his a volleyball from Wilson Sporting Goods that he personifies with the name “Wilson.” Tom Hanks stars with Helen Hunt as his girlfriend, Kelly Frears, and Nick Searcy is a confidant in this survival drama.
Cast Away was filmed on one of the Mamanuca Island in Fiji known as Monuriki Island. While Fiji is incredibly beautiful, the thought of surviving on a deserted island is terrifying. It took countless crew members to make the movie come to life. Hanks, however, was still met with difficulties during filming. For starters, he had to gain and then lose 50 pounds.
During filming, thanks to a gnarly, unexpected leg injury, the actor almost died. It started off as a cut on his leg. It later turned into a Staph infection. Onsite medical workers quickly identified the problem and sent Hanks to receive immediate care. Through an interview with BBC, he stated:
"'Cast Away' put me in the hospital. I was there for three days with something that, believe it or not, almost killed me,” he revealed at the time…”I went to the doctor who took one look and said, ‘I have to put you in the hospital because we have to get this infection out of you before it poisons your blood and you die.' “
If it weren’t for those doctors, we would have missed out on some of the most well-known films of our time. Then again, for a Golden Globe and an Oscar nomination, what wouldn’t you do?

Woody Harrelson's Dad Was a Texas Hitman Who Claimed to Kill JFK
Father of actor Woody Harrelson, Charles Harrelson put his family in the spotlight in the opposite way of his son, causing scrutiny and plenty of scandals. Versatile, Texas-born actor Woody Harrelson, seen in box office hits like Natural Born Killers, Seven Pounds, and Zombieland along with hit TV shows like True Detective and Cheers, was raised by his single mother, Diane Oswald. Meanwhile, his father was out in the world causing chaos.
His father was the notorious and controversial Charles V. Harrelson, and in case you don’t already know, he was a hitman. Charles Voyde Harrelson was born in Lovelady, Texas in 1938. He left Texas to join the Navy, and shortly after found his way to Los Angeles. This is where he met, married, and had three sons with Diane Lou Oswald, Woody’s mother.
It’s assumed that his contract killer career notches upwards of 20 people for his organized crimes. However, he’s only charged for two of them. Harrelson’s biggest kill was ordered by El Paso drug lord/ kingpin, Jamiel Chagra. Chagra was essentially staring down a life sentence for drug smuggling. He hadn’t gone to court yet, but he was set to appear in front of U.S. District Judge John H. Wood Jr. in the summer of 1979. The original court date was May 29, 1979, but got rescheduled. However, the judge was found dead near his car at his San Antonio home on that exact date. Chagra paid Harrelson $250,000 to kill U.S. District Judge John H. Wood Jr. aka “Maximum John.”
Harrelson also killed a Texas grain dealer, Sam Degelia, at the request of his business partner. He was tried for the murder and sentenced 15 years in prison, he walked free 5 later right after that was when he killed Judge Wood. It took the FBI years and grueling $11 million FBI investigation to uncover who-done-it and then find Harrelson.
After his multiple arrests, Harrelson admitted twice to having fired the shot that killed President John F. Kennedy. He later blamed the statement on being high and trying to land big jobs and make money. Conspiracy theorists took his words and ran with it, claiming him to be one of the “three ramps” involved in the JFK 1995 murder.
Woody Harrelson’s dad and he hadn’t crossed paths since he was 7. So, the actor didn’t know about his father’s profession until he happened to hear the news on the radio and inquired to his mother. Well into adulthood, Woody Harrelson made an attempt to befriend his father. He visited him and at one point and spent a couple million in attempts to get his father a retrial. Unfortunately, Woody Harrelson’s father never saw that retrial. He died serving his prison sentence in 2007 of a heart attack. Not before he attempted to escape Atlanta Federal Penitentiary in 1995, which failed and resulted in him being transferred to the Colorado Supermax federal prison, ADX Florence, with the likes of the Unabomber Ted Kaczynski.

Stevie Nicks Turned Down Prince’s Offer to Write Lyrics For ‘Purple Rain’
Prince once compared "Purple Rain" to his own “albatross,” saying it’d be hanging from his neck until he stopped making music. What a weird thing to say about his biggest song. In his defense, he was speaking of the movie of the same title as well, which received vigorous backlash. Maybe that was exactly what he meant, meaning there was a lot of pressure that came along with its success. With an initial number 6 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 in the UK and number 4 in the United States, it was a huge part of his career and he even performed it during half time at the Super Bowl back in 2007. "Purple Rain" was also the very last song that Prince performed in 2016 at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta. He died a week afterward.
The iconic song was structured to tell a story and was part of the soundtrack to the first movie that Prince made. The soundtrack featured “When Doves Cry” and “Let’s Go Crazy”. It won him an Oscar for Best Original Song Score. "Purple Rain" centers on a struggling frontman of a band, the Revolution who won’t ever play the music written by his bandmates, Wendy Melvoin and Lisa Coleman (Wendy and Lisa were Prince’s real-life band members). Until they wrote Purple Rain which is played at the end when The Revolution is in a band war with another band. Purple Rain is a love song, actually written by Prince himself. Initially, however, it wasn’t his plan to perform it alone.
"Purple Rain" was initially supposed to be a collaborative country song with Fleetwood Mac singer and songwriter Stevie Nicks. The rock and roll legend received the 10-minute instrumental version but was unable to contribute. She said that the song was too big for her. She called it epic and apologized for not being able to come up with any lyrics or vocals for it. Sometime after Nicks withdrew, Prince and his band practiced it for six-hour straight one day and developed the heavier song arrangement, later recorded it at the First Avenue night club in Minneapolis.
According to Prince, the song meaning related to when there is “blood in the sky – red and blue = purple… purple rain pertains to the end of the world and being with the one you love and letting your faith/god guide you through the purple rain.” So, technically we can say that yes, it is a love song.
