Red Wolf Farms

Our wood stove is amazing! We haven’t had to turn the heat on at all this year. Last winter we had a very inefficient stove and it would not warm the house but was great at burning through wood. All the wood we have burnt this year has all came from our farm.

Our Silver Appleyard ducks and Pineywoods Cattle. Both heritage breeds! The cows cut the grass, poop out fertilizer and the ducks spread it while looking for bugs. Perfect relationship for our farm eco system.

We have been harvesting for a week now.

Our morning snow update from here in the North Georgia Mountains. It started raining around 4 this morning so it washed away about an inch. We got right at 2” but it’s Georgia and it should be melted by lunch. It’s the baby calves first snow on the ground and some of their moms as well as they came to us last spring from South Georgia.

@6:51pm this was the view off the front porch. It has been coming down real good for the past 30 minutes. Updates soon!

This is the new deck off our garage and out into the back pasture. Can’t wait till daylight!
