WASHINGTON, D.C. – The House Judiciary Committee holds a hearing on Tuesday, March 12, 2024. The hearing on the Report of Special Counsel Robert K. Hur examines Special Counsel Hur's findings in his investigation of the possible unauthorized removal and retention of classified documents or other records discovered in President Biden's personal possession. Special Counsel Hur concluded that although President Biden "willfully retained and disclosed classified materials as a private citizen," criminal charges were not warranted because, among other things, President Biden is an "elderly man with a poor memory." The Subcommittee on Federal Lands holds an oversight field hearing titled “Biden’s Border Crisis: The Consequences of Failing to Secure Federal Border Lands.” The hearing will examine the environmental consequences and national security implications of President Biden’s failure to secure our southern federal border lands.
