Piano SOLO Version - You Got Lucky (Tom Petty)
This is a Piano SOLO Cover Version of Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers song You Got Lucky. I've liked this song for a long time and really enjoyed the detuned synth parts which took Tom and the band in a different direction and opened up just what they could do musically. I wondered, and I hope you did too, what this song would sound like on piano. Well here it is and I hope you enjoy this instrumental version as I did creating this video. *"I Don't Want to Miss a Thing" is a power ballad[3] performed by American hard rock band Aerosmith for the 1998 natural disaster film Armageddon which lead singer Steven Tyler's daughter Liv Tyler starred in. It is one of four songs performed by the band for the film, the other three being "What Kind of Love Are You On", "Come Together" and "Sweet Emotion".
The song was written by Diane Warren, who originally envisioned it would be performed by "Celine Dion or somebody like that"[4]. It debuted at number one on the US Billboard Hot 100, giving the band their first and only number-one single in their home country. The song stayed at number one for four weeks, from September 5 to September 26, 1998. It also peaked at number one for multiple weeks in several other countries, including Australia, Ireland and Norway. In the United Kingdom, it sold over one million copies and reached number four on the UK Singles Chart.
The song was covered by American country music singer Mark Chesnutt for his album of the same name. In early 1999, his version was a top-twenty hit on the Billboard Hot 100 while also topping the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts.

*Lionel Brockman Richie Jr. (born June 20, 1949) is an American singer, songwriter, composer, multi-instrumentalist, record producer, actor, and television judge. His recordings with the funk and soul band Commodores and during his solo career made him one of the most successful balladeers of the 1980s.
Beginning in 1968, Richie was a member of the Commodores. The Commodores became established as a popular soul group; their first several albums had a danceable, funky sound, as in such tracks as "Machine Gun" and "Brick House". Over time, Richie wrote and sang more romantic, easy-listening ballads such as "Easy", "Three Times a Lady", "Still", and the breakup ballad "Sail On". Richie launched a solo career in 1982 and his 1982 debut solo album, Lionel Richie, contained three hit singles: the U.S. number-one song "Truly", and the top five hits "You Are" and "My Love". The album hit No. 3 on the music charts and sold over four million copies. His 1983 follow-up album, Can't Slow Down, sold over twice as many copies, propelling him into the first rank of international superstars. He also co-wrote the 1985 charity single "We Are the World" with Michael Jackson, which sold over 20 million copies.[1]
Over the course of his career, Richie has sold over 90 million records worldwide, making him one of the world's best-selling artists of all time.[2] He won the Grammy Award for Album of the Year for Can't Slow Down, and his other Grammy Awards include Producer of the Year (Non-Classical) in 1985 and Best Male Pop Vocal Performance for "Truly" in 1983.[3] Richie has also been nominated for two Golden Globe awards and won one. In 1982 he was nominated for Best Original Song for the film Endless Love. In 1986 he won the Golden Globe award for Best Original Song for "Say You, Say Me", featured in the film White Nights.[4] The song also won the Academy Award for Best Original Song. In 2016, Richie received the Songwriters Hall of Fame's highest honor, the Johnny Mercer Award.[5] He has served with Luke Bryan and Katy Perry as a judge for the singing competition American Idol since its move to ABC from the Fox network.[6]

Piano ONLY Version - Jump (Van Halen)
This is a Piano ONLY Cover Version of Van Halen's song Jump. I had this on my list of songs to work on but since the untimely death of Eddie Van Halen, I knew I needed to work on this to get it out to pay tribute in my own way to the master. I also know this isn't their best song from a technical or guitar stand point but it reached out to so many people and crossed over and was recognized by so many that I just had to do this one. I hope you all enjoy this instrumental version and I'll have another one for you real soon.

*Van Halen (/væn ˈheɪlɛn/ van HAY-len) is an American rock band formed in Pasadena, California in 1972. Credited with "restoring hard rock to the forefront of the music scene",[7] Van Halen is known for its energetic live shows[8] and for the work of its acclaimed lead guitarist, Eddie Van Halen.[9][10] The band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2007.
From 1974 until 1985, Van Halen consisted of Eddie Van Halen; Eddie's brother, drummer Alex Van Halen; vocalist David Lee Roth; and bassist Michael Anthony.[11] Upon its release in 1978, the band's self-titled debut album reached No. 19 on the Billboard pop music charts and would go on to sell over 10 million copies in the U.S. From 1979 to 1982, the band released four albums (Van Halen II, Women and Children First, Fair Warning, and Diver Down), all of which have since been certified multi-platinum. By the early 1980s, Van Halen was one of the most successful rock acts of the time.[12] The album 1984 was a commercial success with U.S. sales of 10 million copies and four hit singles; its lead single, "Jump", is the band's only U.S. number one single to date and was internationally known.
In 1985, Roth left the band to embark on a solo career and was replaced by former Montrose lead vocalist Sammy Hagar. With Hagar, the group released four U.S. number-one, multi-platinum albums over the course of 11 years (5150 in 1986, OU812 in 1988, For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge in 1991, and Balance in 1995). Hagar left the band in 1996 shortly before the release of the band's first greatest hits collection, Best Of – Volume I. Former Extreme frontman Gary Cherone replaced Hagar and recorded the commercially unsuccessful album Van Halen III with the band in 1998, before parting ways in 1999. Van Halen then went on hiatus until reuniting with Hagar in 2003 for a worldwide tour in 2004 and the double-disc greatest hits collection The Best of Both Worlds. Hagar again left Van Halen in 2005. In 2006, Roth returned as lead vocalist and Anthony was replaced on bass guitar by Wolfgang Van Halen, Eddie's son. In 2012, the band released the commercially and critically successful A Different Kind of Truth.
As of March 2019, Van Halen is 20th on the RIAA list of best-selling artists in the United States; the band has sold 56 million albums in the States[13][14] and more than 80 million worldwide, making them one of the best-selling groups of all time.[15][16][17] As of 2007, Van Halen was one of only five rock bands with two studio albums that sold more than 10 million copies in the United States[18] and is also tied for the most multi-platinum albums by an American band. Additionally, Van Halen has charted 13 number-one hits on Billboard's Mainstream Rock chart. VH1 ranked the band seventh on a list of the top 100 hard rock artists of all time.[19]
On October 6, 2020, Eddie Van Halen died from cancer.[20][21] He had first confirmed his initial cancer diagnosis in April 2001.[22]

And also it was requested by one of my subscribers called PracticePage so I hope you enjoy it and I'm also going to post a full Piano Version: https://youtu.be/Z6DX9zPCybs with other instruments and see which one you all like the best.

*"Changes" is a song by Black Sabbath. It first appeared on Vol. 4 which was released in 1972. Pitchfork author Stephen Deusner labeled it as one of Black Sabbath's best songs. The song's piano melody was composed by guitarist Tony Iommi, who was experimenting with the instrument in the studio.[2] The lyrics were by bassist Geezer Butler,[2] and vocalist Ozzy Osbourne has referred to the song as "heartbreaking". Quite different from Sabbath's previous work, the song was described as a "forlornly pretty" ballad by critic Barney Hoskyns.[3] It was inspired mainly by Bill Ward's breakup with his first wife.[2]
"We're certainly not going to get any less heavy," Ozzy promised in 1972. "We will probably do 'Changes' on stage with a Mellotron but we'll never take strings on stage with us or anything like that."[4]
The song was performed live in 1973[5] but very seldom in years following.
The song was covered by soul artist Charles Bradley on his 2016 album called Changes. Bradley’s version has since been featured as the theme song of the Netflix animated series Big Mouth. That version also appeared in the first season of the HBO series "Big Little Lies", and is included on that soundtrack as well.
"Changes" was ranked the 12th best Black Sabbath song by Rock - Das Gesamtwerk der größten Rock-Acts im Check.[6]

*John Henry Bonham (31 May 1948 – 25 September 1980) was an English musician and songwriter, best known as the drummer for the English rock band Led Zeppelin. Esteemed for his speed, power, fast bass drumming, distinctive sound, and feel for the groove,[1] he is regarded as one of the greatest and most influential rock drummers in history.[2][3][4]
Bonham was born in 1948 in Redditch, Worcestershire and took up drums at the age of five, receiving a snare drum at the age of 10 and a full drum set at the age of 15. He played with multiple local bands both at school and following school, eventually playing in two different bands with future bandmate Robert Plant. Following the demise of the Yardbirds in 1968, Bonham joined Plant, guitarist Jimmy Page and bassist John Paul Jones to form Led Zeppelin. With the band, Bonham mostly showcased a hard-hitting hard rock style, but also handled funk and Latin-influenced grooves in later releases. Like Keith Moon of the Who, Bonham's drum set grew in size following the band's 1969 concert tours, including congas or timpani and a gong. His drum solo, "Moby Dick", was featured on the group's second album and was a staple of their concerts, often lasting over 20 minutes. Outside of Led Zeppelin, Bonham played drums for other artists, including the Family Dogg, Screaming Lord Sutch, Lulu, Jimmy Stevens and Wings. Bonham played with Led Zeppelin until his death at the age of 32, in September 1980 following a day of heavy drinking. The surviving members disbanded the group out of respect for Bonham after his death.
A mostly self-taught drummer, Bonham's influences included Max Roach, Gene Krupa and Buddy Rich. Bonham was also close with Vanilla Fudge drummer Carmine Appice, who introduced him to Ludwig drums. While primarily known for his hard rock style during his lifetime, Bonham's reputation as a drummer has grown beyond hard rock following his death; he is now seen as one of the greatest drummers of all time. He has influenced numerous drummers, including Dave Grohl, Chad Smith, Dave Lombardo and Mike Portnoy. He was posthumously inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1995 as a member of Led Zeppelin. In 2016, Rolling Stone ranked him first in its list of the "100 Greatest Drummers of All Time".[5]

Piano SOLO Version - Tears In Heaven (Eric Clapton)
This is a Piano SOLO Version of Eric Clapton's song Tears In Heaven. Eric, from what I know, originally wrote this for the lose of his son that died and it's so heartfelt, really hitting to the point and struggle he had going on with the loss of his child. And the reason I'm doing this is in dedication to my late brother that died at 18 years old and he would be turning 40 years old here on this earth. I still miss him so much and his life has impacted and colored all of mine and will for as long as I live. I just needed to hear this song today and wanted to share it with you. I hope this helps you if you are experiencing loss too and I hope God helps see you through. God has a plan that is more massive than we could ever know. Love you all.

*Eric Patrick Clapton, CBE (born 30 March 1945) is an English rock and blues guitarist, singer, and songwriter. He is the only three-time inductee to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame: once as a solo artist and separately as a member of the Yardbirds and of Cream. Clapton has been referred to as one of the most important and influential guitarists of all time.[2] Clapton ranked second in Rolling Stone's list of the "100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time"[3] and fourth in Gibson's "Top 50 Guitarists of All Time".[4] He was also named number five in Time magazine's list of "The 10 Best Electric Guitar Players" in 2009.[5]
After playing in a number of different local bands, Clapton joined the Yardbirds in 1963, replacing founding guitarist Top Topham. Dissatisfied with the change of the Yardbirds sound from blues rock to a more radio-friendly pop rock sound, Clapton left the Yardbirds in 1965 to play with John Mayall & the Bluesbreakers, with whom he played on one album. After leaving Mayall in 1966, Clapton formed the power trio Cream with drummer Ginger Baker and bassist Jack Bruce, in which Clapton played sustained blues improvisations and "arty, blues-based psychedelic pop".[6] After Cream broke up, he formed blues rock band Blind Faith with Baker, Steve Winwood, and Ric Grech, recording one album and performing on one tour before they broke up, leading Clapton to embark on a solo career in 1970. Alongside his solo career, he also performed with Delaney & Bonnie and Derek and the Dominos, with whom he recorded "Layla", one of his signature songs. He continued to record a number of successful solo albums and songs over the next several decades, including a 1974 cover of Bob Marley's "I Shot the Sheriff" (which helped reggae reach a mass market.[7]), the country-infused Slowhand album (1977) and the pop rock of 1986's August. Following the death of his son Conor in 1991, Clapton's grief was expressed in the song "Tears in Heaven", which appeared on his Unplugged album, and in 1996 he had another top-40 hit with the R&B crossover "Change The World", and in 1998 released the Grammy award winning "My Father's Eyes". Since 1999, he has recorded a number of traditional blues and blues rock albums and hosted the periodic Crossroads Guitar Festival. His most recent studio album is 2018's Happy Xmas.
Clapton has been the recipient of 18 Grammy Awards, and the Brit Award for Outstanding Contribution to Music. In 2004 he was awarded a CBE at Buckingham Palace for services to music.[8][9][10] He has received four Ivor Novello Awards from the British Academy of Songwriters, Composers and Authors, including the Lifetime Achievement Award. In his solo career, Clapton has sold more than 100 million records worldwide, making him one of the best-selling musicians of all time.[11] In 1998, Clapton, a recovering alcoholic and drug addict, founded the Crossroads Centre on Antigua, a medical facility for recovering substance abusers.[12]

*Ray Charles Robinson (September 23, 1930 – June 10, 2004) was an American singer, songwriter, pianist, and composer. Among friends and fellow musicians he preferred being called "Brother Ray." He was often referred to as "The Genius."[3][4] Charles was blinded during childhood due to glaucoma.[2]
Charles pioneered the soul music genre during the 1950s by combining blues, jazz, rhythm and blues, and gospel styles into the music he recorded for Atlantic.[2][5][6] He contributed to the integration of country music, rhythm and blues, and pop music during the 1960s with his crossover success on ABC Records, notably with his two Modern Sounds albums.[7][8][9] While he was with ABC, Charles became one of the first black musicians to be granted artistic control by a mainstream record company.[5]
Charles' 1960 hit "Georgia On My Mind" was the first of his three career No. 1 hits on the Billboard Hot 100. His 1962 album, Modern Sounds In Country And Western Music, became his first album to top the Billboard 200.[10] Charles had multiple singles reach the Top 40 on various Billboard charts: 44 on the US R&B singles chart, 11 on the Hot 100 singles chart, 2 on the Hot Country singles charts.[11]
Charles cited Nat King Cole as a primary influence, but his music was also influenced by Louis Jordan and Charles Brown.[12] He had a lifelong friendship and occasional partnership with Quincy Jones. Frank Sinatra called Ray Charles "the only true genius in show business," although Charles downplayed this notion.[13] Billy Joel said, "This may sound like sacrilege, but I think Ray Charles was more important than Elvis Presley".[14]
Charles is a 17-time Grammy Award winner.[10] He was honored with the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 1987; 10 of his recordings have been inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame.[10] In 2002, Rolling Stone ranked Charles No. 10 on their list of the "100 Greatest Artists of All Time,"[3] and No. 2 on their list of the "100 Greatest Singers of All Time" in 2008.[15]

Piano SOLO Version - Ain't No Mountain High Enough (Marvin Gaye)
This is a Piano SOLO Cover Version of Ain't No Mountain High Enough and what inspired me was the version by Marvin Gaye but that was a cover also of the song. It was originally performed by Diana Ross and was written by Nickolas Ashford and Valerie Simpson. This is an awesome classic and I hope you enjoy this instrumental version. Thank you all for the love and support.

*"Ain't No Mountain High Enough" is a pop/soul song written by Nickolas Ashford & Valerie Simpson in 1966 for the Tamla label, a division of Motown. The composition was first successful as a 1967 hit single recorded by Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell, and became a hit again in 1970 when recorded by former Supremes frontwoman Diana Ross. The song became Ross's first solo number-one hit on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and was nominated for a Grammy Award.
The song was written by Ashford and Simpson prior to joining Motown. British soul singer Dusty Springfield wanted to record the song but the duo declined, hoping it would give them access to the Detroit-based label. As Valerie Simpson later recalled, "We played that song for her (Springfield) but wouldn't give it to her, because we wanted to hold that back. We felt like that could be our entry to Motown. Nick called it the 'golden egg'."[1] Dusty recorded a similar verse melody in 'I'm Gonna Leave You' on Dusty.
The original 1967 version of "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" was a top twenty hit. According to record producers, Terrell was a little nervous and intimidated during the recording sessions because she did not rehearse the lyrics. Terrell recorded her vocals alone with producers Harvey Fuqua and Johnny Bristol, who added Gaye's vocal at a later date.[2] "Ain't No Mountain" peaked at number nineteen on the Billboard pop charts, and went to number three on the R&B charts.[3]
This original version of "Ain't No Mountain", produced by Fuqua and Bristol, was a care-free, danceable, and romantic love song that became the signature duet between Gaye and Terrell. Its success led to a string of more Ashford/Simpson penned duets (including "You're All I Need to Get By", "Ain't Nothing Like the Real Thing", and "Your Precious Love").
The Gaye/Terrell version was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 1999, and is regarded today as one of the most important records ever released by Motown.

*"Chariots of Fire" is an instrumental theme written and recorded by Vangelis for the soundtrack of the 1981 film of the same name. It has been covered by numerous performers and used for various television programs and sporting events.
Evángelos Odysséas Papathanassíou[a] (born 29 March 1943), known professionally as Vangelis (/væŋˈɡɛlɪs/; Greek: Βαγγέλης [vaɲˈɟelis]), is a Greek musician and composer of electronic, progressive, ambient, jazz, and orchestral music.[1] He is best known for his Academy Award-winning score to Chariots of Fire (1981), as well as for composing scores to the films Blade Runner (1982), Missing (1982), Antarctica (1983), The Bounty (1984), 1492: Conquest of Paradise (1992), and Alexander (2004), and for the use of his music in the 1980 PBS documentary Cosmos: A Personal Voyage by Carl Sagan.[1]
Vangelis began his career working with several popular bands of the 1960s such as The Forminx and Aphrodite's Child, with the latter's album 666 going on to be recognized as a progressive-psychedelic rock classic.[1][2] Throughout the 1970s, Vangelis composed music scores for several animal documentaries, including L'Apocalypse des Animaux, La Fête sauvage and Opéra sauvage; the success of these scores brought him into the film scoring mainstream. In the early 1980s, Vangelis formed a musical partnership with Jon Anderson, the lead singer of progressive rock band Yes, and the duo went on to release several albums together as Jon & Vangelis.
In 1981, he composed the score for the Oscar-winning film Chariots of Fire, for which he won an Academy Award for Best Original Score. The soundtrack's single, the film's "Titles" theme, also reached the top of the American Billboard Hot 100 chart and was used as the background music at the London 2012 Olympics winners' medal presentation ceremonies.[1]
Having had a career in music spanning over 50 years and having composed and performed more than 50 albums, Vangelis is considered to be one of the most important figures in the history of electronic music.[3][4][5

Piano ONLY Version - So Lonely (The Police)
----Please subscribe to my Patreon and help support the channel and you never know what you might get in return www.patreon.com/pianoversion ----
This is a Piano ONLY Cover Version of So Lonely by The Police and it was written by Gordon Sumner AKA Sting. I've always liked The Police and they were the first band that inspired me to make music so I have a special place in my heart for them. A few weeks ago, in the car, I was listening to them and this song came on. My son in the back seat said that he loved this song and it brought such a smile on my face. So I knew I had to do this song and added it to my list. I hope you all enjoy this song as much as I did creating this and I'll have another one for you real soon.
*"So Lonely" is a song by English rock band The Police, released as the third and final single in November 1978 from their debut studio album Outlandos d'Amour (1978), and again in February 1980 as a re-release. The song uses a reggae style, and featured Sting on lead vocals.
"So Lonely" has since been covered by a variety of artists, such as Limbeck and The Militia Group.
The song is known for a famous mondegreen where the title is often misheard as "Sue Lawley," a broadcaster famous for presenting Desert Island Discs on BBC Radio 4 from 1988 to 2006.
Sting admitted that he used Bob Marley's "No Woman, No Cry" as the basis for this song:
"People thrashing out three chords didn't really interest us musically. Reggae was accepted in punk circles and musically more sophisticated, and we could play it, so we veered off in that direction. I mean let's be honest here, 'So Lonely' was unabashedly culled from 'No Woman No Cry' by Bob Marley & The Wailers. Same chorus. What we invented was this thing of going back and forth between thrash punk and reggae. That was the little niche we created for ourselves."
— Sting, Revolver 4/2000[3][4]
Sting recycled the lyrics in the song's verses from his earlier Last Exit song "Fool in Love". The lyrics themselves, about someone who is lonely after getting his heart broken, were thought to be "ironic" to large audiences.[4] Sting denied this claim, however, saying, "No, there's no irony whatsoever. From the outside it might look a bit strange, being surrounded by all this attention and yet experiencing the worst lonely feeling...but I do. And then suddenly the attention is withdrawn a half an hour later. You're so isolated..."[4]
"So Lonely" was released as the third and final single from Outlandos d'Amour in November 1978, following "Roxanne" and "Can't Stand Losing You." The single did not chart on the first occasion but reached No. 6 with its second release.[5] The other singles from Outlandos d'Amour followed a similar pattern of not charting very high in 1978, but doing very well on a re-release.
The video for the song depicts the band walking around the streets of Hong Kong and on the subway trains of Tokyo in 1980.[6] The band lip-syncs into walkie-talkies, while Stewart Copeland performs drum fills on random objects, such as buses and objects being sold.
The B-Side "No Time This Time" was originally a non-album track, but the same recording later appeared on their album Reggatta de Blanc to pad out the short running time.

*Troyal Garth Brooks (born February 7, 1962) is an American singer and songwriter.[2] His integration of rock and pop elements into the country genre has earned him popularity, particularly in the United States[3] with success on the country music single and album charts,[4] multi-platinum recordings and record-breaking live performances, while also crossing over into the mainstream pop arena.[5]
As of 2020, according to the RIAA, Brooks is the best-selling solo albums artist in the United States with 156 million domestic units sold, ahead of Elvis Presley, and is second only to The Beatles in total album sales overall.[6] He is also one of the world's best-selling artists of all time, having sold more than 170 million records.[7]
As of 2020, Brooks is now the only artist in music history to have released eight albums that achieved diamond status in the United States (surpassing the Beatles' former record of six); those albums are Garth Brooks (10× platinum), No Fences (17× platinum), Ropin' the Wind (14× platinum), The Chase (10× platinum), The Hits (10× platinum), Sevens (10× platinum), Double Live (21× platinum), and The Ultimate Hits (10× platinum).[8] Since 1989, Brooks has released 22 records in all, which include: 12 studio albums, two live albums, three compilation albums, three Christmas albums and four box sets, along with 77 singles. He has won several awards in his career, including two Grammy Awards, 17 American Music Awards (including "Artist of the '90s") and the RIAA Award for best-selling solo albums artist of the century in the U.S.
Troubled by conflicts between career and family, Brooks retired from recording and performing from 2001 until 2005.[5] During this time, he sold millions of albums through an exclusive distribution deal with Walmart and sporadically released new singles.[9][10] In 2005, Brooks started a partial comeback, giving select performances and releasing two compilation albums.
In 2009, he began Garth at Wynn, a periodic weekend concert residency at Las Vegas' Encore Theatre from December 2009 to January 2014. Following the conclusion of the residency, Brooks announced his signing with Sony Music Nashville in July 2014.[11] In September 2014, he began his comeback world tour, with wife and musician Trisha Yearwood, which culminated in 2017. This was followed by his Stadium Tour, which began in 2019. His most recent album, Gunslinger, was released in November 2016.
Brooks was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame on October 21, 2012,[12] having been inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame the year before.[13] Brooks was also inducted into the Musicians Hall of Fame and Museum in 2016 with his studio musicians, The G-Men.[14] On March 4, 2020, Brooks received the Library of Congress Gershwin Prize for Popular Song. At age 58, he is the youngest recipient of the award.[15]

Piano ONLY Version - I Got You (I feel good) (James Brown)
This is a Piano ONLY Cover Version of James Brown's song I Got You and I hope you enjoy this song as much as I did creating it. And I'll have another one for you real soon.
*James Joseph Brown (May 3, 1933 – December 25, 2006) was an American singer, songwriter, dancer, musician, record producer and bandleader. A progenitor of funk music and a major figure of 20th century music and dance, he is often referred to by the honorific nicknames "Godfather of Soul" and "Soul Brother No. 1".[1] In a career that lasted over 50 years, he influenced the development of several music genres.[2]
Brown began his career as a gospel singer in Toccoa, Georgia.[3] He joined a rhythm and blues vocal group, the Gospel Starlighters (which later evolved into the Famous Flames) founded by Bobby Byrd, in which he was the lead singer.[4][5] First coming to national public attention in the late 1950s as a member of the singing group The Famous Flames with the hit ballads "Please, Please, Please" and "Try Me", Brown built a reputation as a tireless live performer with the Famous Flames and his backing band, sometimes known as the James Brown Band or the James Brown Orchestra. His success peaked in the 1960s with the live album Live at the Apollo and hit singles such as "Papa's Got a Brand New Bag", "I Got You (I Feel Good)" and "It's a Man's Man's Man's World".
During the late 1960s, Brown moved from a continuum of blues and gospel-based forms and styles to a profoundly "Africanized" approach to music-making, emphasizing stripped-down and interlocking rhythms, that influenced the development of funk music.[6] By the early 1970s, Brown had fully established the funk sound after the formation of the J.B.s with records such as "Get Up (I Feel Like Being a) Sex Machine" and "The Payback". He also became noted for songs of social commentary, including the 1968 hit "Say It Loud – I'm Black and I'm Proud". Brown continued to perform and record until his death from pneumonia in 2006.
Brown recorded 17 singles that reached No. 1 on the Billboard R&B charts.[7][8] He also holds the record for the most singles listed on the Billboard Hot 100 chart which did not reach No. 1.[9][10] Brown was inducted into 1st class of the Rhythm & Blues Music Hall of Fame in 2013 as an artist and then in 2017 as a songwriter. He also received honors from many other institutions, including inductions into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Songwriters Hall of Fame.[11] In Joel Whitburn's analysis of the Billboard R&B charts from 1942 to 2010, Brown is ranked No. 1 in The Top 500 Artists.[12] He is ranked No. 7 on Rolling Stone's list of its 100 Greatest Artists of All Time. Rolling Stone has also cited Brown as the most sampled artist of all time.[13][14]

Piano ONLY Version - Be Yourself (Audioslave)
This is a Piano ONLY Cover Version of Audioslave's song Be Yourself. This is an awesome song and the melody line that is featured is from the legendary Chris Cornell and was also written by all four members of the band including Tom Morello. I hope you enjoy this instrumental version as I did making this. Thank you and remember to keep liking, sharing and subscribing to get the latest songs as they come out. I'll have another one for you real soon and God bless.
*"Be Yourself" is the first single from the second album of the American rock band Audioslave. The song was released in 2005 and topped the Billboard Mainstream Rock Tracks chart for seven weeks and the Modern Rock Tracks chart for four weeks in 2005.
Apart from "Like a Stone", "Be Yourself" is considered the band's most well-known song, and it is still played on radio stations worldwide.
"Be Yourself" has routinely been heard in multiple media. The song is the theme music of the 2005 Raw Diva Search which was held by World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), and it was used as the entrance music of the winner of that contest, Ashley Massaro. WWE once again used the song as one of the official theme songs to Wrestlemania XXVI. "Be Yourself" was also used in the Scrubs season six premiere episode "My Mirror Image". Along with "Your Time Has Come", the track also appeared in the documentary Warren Miller's: Higher Ground. New York Mets outfielder Shawn Green also used the song before his at-bats at games in 2006.
Prior to the vinyl release of the song, Contactmusic.com held a contest in which fans of the band could submit their pictures, over two dozen of which were selected and featured on the 7" vinyl release of the single.

Piano SOLO Version - Redemption Song (Bob Marley)
This is a Piano SOLO Cover Version of Bob Marley's song Redemption Song. This was a great song that I only heard on an acoustic guitar and thought it would be great as a piano instrumental so I hope you enjoy it as much as I did making it and in this version I stayed with the music progression but changed up some of the accompany notes that resided in the chords to give it a little different flavor. Anyways that you all for the love and support and please keep sharing these videos to get the word out. God bless you and have a great day.
*"Redemption Song" is a song by Bob Marley. It is the final track on Bob Marley and the Wailers' twelfth album, Uprising, produced by Chris Blackwell and released by Island Records.[2] The song is considered one of Marley's greatest works. Some key lyrics derived from a speech given by the Pan-Africanist orator Marcus Garvey entitled "The Work That Has Been Done".[3]
At the time he wrote the song, circa 1979, Bob Marley had been diagnosed with the cancer in his toe that took his life a couple years later. According to Rita Marley, "he was already secretly in a lot of pain and dealt with his own mortality, a feature that is clearly apparent in the album, particularly in this song".
Unlike most of Bob Marley's tracks, it is strictly a solo acoustic recording, consisting of his singing and playing an acoustic guitar, without accompaniment. The song is in the key of G major.
"Redemption Song" was released as a single in the UK and France in October 1980, and included a full band rendering of the song. This version has since been included as a bonus track on the 2001 reissue of Uprising, as well as on the 2001 compilation One Love: The Very Best of Bob Marley & The Wailers. Although in live performances the full band was used for the song, the solo recorded performance remains the take most familiar to listeners.[citation needed]
In 2004, Rolling Stone placed the song at #66 among "The 500 Greatest Songs of All Time". In 2010, the New Statesman listed it as one of the Top 20 Political Songs.[4]
On February 5, 2020 (on the eve of what would have been his 75th birthday) Marley's estate released an official animated video for the song.[5] This also commemorated the 40th anniversary of the song's release.
