I compare all 50-Watt wideband mobile GMRS radios on the market as of April 2022. The BTech GMRS 50X1, the Wouxun KG-1000G and the Midland MXT500 - so that YOU can decide which one is best for YOU. One thing I left out of the video is that all 3 of these mobile GMRS radios give about the same amount of FARS when transmitting at a full 50 watts. For years the online "experts" have been telling us that if we coil up our unused coax cable it will damage the radio by creating a high-SWR . In this video I test that to see if the "experts" are right. I test two types of coax, one very low quality, inexpensive coax cable, and a higher quality LMR400 coax cable.
