Canada's road to Beijing — John Carpay on the Trudeau government's move towards a digital ID
John Carpay is the founder and president of the Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms (JCCF). I spoke with him this week about the ongoing enforcement of the ArriveCan app on those entering Canada, the Trudeau government's plan to introduce a "digital ID," and the potential for this to lead to a China-style social credit system.

Kevin Bardosh on the consequences of Covid policy in Canada
Despite the fact most have moved on (or have attempted to, in any case) from Covid fear, things like vaccine mandates, the ArriveCan app, quarantines, and fines for those who fail to follow Canada's ongoing Covid protocols remain. Moreover, Trudeau's Liberal government has yet to acknowledge the enormous harms done by Covid lockdowns and associated policies, including vaccine mandates and bans on gathering, protests, and travel.
Kevin Bardosh is a social scientist, affiliate assistant professor at the University of Washington’s School of Public Health, and lead author of a paper published in February, called, “The Unintended Consequences of COVID-19 Vaccine Policy: Why mandates, passports, and segregated lockdowns may cause more harm than good.” The paper looks at unintended consequences of COVID policy in the areas of behavioural psychology, political and legal effects, socioeconomics, and the integrity of science and public health.
I spoke with him about what he found in his research and how COVID vaccine policies and lockdown measures may in fact have been counterproductive and damaging to public health.

Terry Glavin on fake mass graves and Trudeau's woke lies
Terry Glavin is a Canadian journalist, author, and columnist at the Ottawa Citizen and the National Post. After publishing a piece outlining the journalistic failures leading to national headlines falsely claiming the discovery of "mass unmarked graves of Indigenous children" at the sites of former Residential Schools in Canada, Terry was slandered across social media and the Canadian literary landscape as “a residential school denialist” and "racist," despite his long history of work with Indigenous peoples and that he was correct: no "mass graves" were ever discovered, as reported. I spoke with him about his reporting, the real story, and about the problems with journalism in Canada.
Terry is the author of numerous books, including "The Last Great Sea: A Voyage Through the Human and Natural History of the North Pacific Ocean." His work has covered regional and global politics, natural history, and anthropology. He has published numerous books and articles about Indigenous peoples, cultures, histories, politics, and issues , including, "Nemiah: The Unconquered Country" and "A Death Feast in Dimlahamid." Glavin was awarded the Lieutenant Governor's Award for Literary Excellence in 2009.

Batya Ungar-Sargon on how journalism went woke
How did media and journalism become the domain of the elite? Why does liberal media only represent the ideologies, politics, and narratives of a tiny fraction of the population? What happened to reporting for the masses?
I spoke with Batya Ungar-Sargon — deputy opinion editor at Newsweek and author of the book you all must read immediately, "Bad News: How Woke Media Is Undermining Democracy" — about these issues and more.

Live! Is challenging gender identity racist? Feat. Isabella Malbin and K. Yang
Are "two spirit people," "third genders," and "trans" the same thing? Is saying that sex is dimorphic "white supremacist"?
No! Find out why.
Join myself, Isabella Malbin, and K. Yang ("The Degrogrammer") live on Friday, July 22 at 4PM CDT/5PM EDT for a discussion of the ways culture-specific notions like "two spirit" and "third genders" are erroneously conflated with the modern ideology of "gender identity" in order to present transgenderism as a historic and cross-cultural norm.

Women Leaving the Left
On Friday, June 10, four women spoke at the Austin Central Library, faced by protesters who banged on the windows, chanted and screamed expletives throughout the entire talk, working to intimidate us and drown out our words. Men held signs reading, "I am not my womb" and "Womb=woman is patriarchal ableism." Several protesters held a banner reading, "No TERFs on our turf" and "Hate kills."
Some of us did indeed talk about the impact of gender identity ideology on women's rights, but really, we were there to have a conversation about and with women who have found themselves politically homeless, on account of the left's support for ideology and legislation that runs counter to material reality, civil liberties, free speech, and women's sex-based rights. We are women who do not wish to be boxed in to restrictive political categories, demanding we accept positions and mantras under threat of cancellation.
The panel, Women Leaving the Left addressed the ways in which progressive politics, media, and parties have alienated and abandoned women and, more broadly, the fight for civil liberties and constitutional rights, in favour of 1984-style new speak and identity politics.
This event was hosted by Feminists for Free Speech. If you would like to support future events, you can donate here: https://www.paypal.com/donate/?hosted_button_id=ZFB4XTL26WAK2
Panelists, in order, were myself, Meghan Murphy, Michelle Evans, Keri Smith, and Mary Lou Singleton. The event was moderated by Isabella Malbin. (Bios below.)
BIOS:
Meghan Murphy is a Canadian writer who abandoned her home country for Mexico, fearful about the Liberal government's abject disregard for Canadians' constitutional rights and their clamp down on free speech. She founded Feminist Current, Canada's leading feminist website and podcast, in 2012, and hosts The Same Drugs on YouTube and Anchor.fm. In 2017 she testified against Bill C-16, Canada's gender identity legislation, at the Senate — among the only feminists in Canada to speak out against this encroachment on women's rights. Meghan was permanently banned from Twitter in 2018 for challenging gender identity ideology and correctly sexing a man. She has travelled the world speaking about gender identity and women's sex-based rights, despite protests at every venue and attempts to no-platform her at every turn.
Michelle Evans is a mother of three and fierce advocate for families and freedom. After being blindsided with trans ideology in her own home and her kids’ schools, she began learning more about this pervasive and destructive movement. As a state legislative candidate, she hopes to introduce measures to protect children from harmful medical procedures and social conditioning.
Keri Smith is the host of Deprogrammed and the founder of Civility Dinners, both of which are committed to fostering conversation, creating a culture that respects freedom of speech, and making space for both reason and faith. A liberal and self-described “former SJW" who spent twenty years in “the SJW Cult,” Smith offers firsthand experience on the Social Justice Left and its growing influence in mainstream culture.
Mary Lou Singleton is a mother, midwife, nurse practitioner and medical freedom activist. Mary Lou has served on the boards of directors of the Midwives Alliance of North America, the National Association of Certified Professional Midwives, the Stop Patriarchy Abortion Rights Freedom Ride, and the Women’s Liberation Front. She has been speaking out against female erasure in midwifery since 2014 and is the author of an open letter to the Midwives Alliance of North America protesting the removal of the words “woman” and “mother” from the organization’s core competencies for midwives documents.
Isabella Malbin is a life coach for sovereign women, a trained hypnotist, passionate birth worker and podcaster. Through one-on-one coaching, Isabella teaches women the tools to stop getting triggered by every-freaking thing, cultivate resilience, increase self-confidence and birth in sovereignty.
On the Whose Body Is It Podcast, Isabella interviews radical women from around the world raising consciousness on the harms of transgender ideology, porn and prostitution and exposing all the things we've been told are good for us as women.

Colin Wright was banned from PayPal and Etsy for standing for reality
Colin Wright is an evolutionary biologist pushed out of academia on account of his criticisms of gender identity ideology. He moved into journalism, working as an editor at Quillette before founding Reality's Last Stand, a publication dedicated to providing weekly news, articles, and other content about gender ideology and the science of sex differences. Colin was recently banned from PayPal with no explanation, and then from Etsy for “glorifying hatred” via sales of “Reality’s Last Stand” stickers.

Taylor Silverman on being a female skateboarder and standing up for fair competition in her sport
Taylor Silverman was forced to take on the woke mob after she lost first place to a male competitor in a RedBull skateboarding competition. Lillian Gallagher, who identifies as a "transwoman," took first place. In an Instagram post, Silverman wrote:
"My name is Taylor Silverman. I am a female athlete. I have been skateboarding for eleven years and competing for several years. I have been in three different contests with trans women, two of which I placed second.
At the last contest series I did for Redbull, I placed second. The trans competitor who won took $1000 in qualifiers, $3000 in finals, and $1000 in best trick. This totaled to $5000 of the prize money meant for the female athletes.
I took $1000 in qualifiers and $1750 for second place, so $2750 in total. The girl who took third received $750.The girl who deserved $1000 for best trick took nothing along with whoever would have placed third.
I deserved to be placed first, be acknowledged for my win and get paid. I reached out to Redbull and was ignored. I am sick of being bullied into silence.”
Silverman included her message to Redbull Senior Sports Marketing Manager Erich Dummer in the post, which read:
“A biological man with a clear advantage won the women’s division, best trick, and also won multiple qualifiers. This took away the opportunity that was meant for women to place and earn money.
What happened was unfair and at the time I was too uncomfortable to speak up. I understand that in today's society even some women think this is acceptable, but I believe in doing the right thing even if it’s not the popular thing. I now realize it’s really important for me to speak up and I’d like to schedule a time to talk.”

Keri Smith is the host of Deprogrammed, a co-founder and host at Unsafe Space, and the founder of Civility Dinners. Drunk on power? Sarah Hepola on blackouts, binge drinking, alcoholism, and women
Along with women's empowerment and liberation has come the idea that women can and should "be like men," which has been applied to all sorts of areas, including sex and drinking. While freeing women to be themselves and no longer be restricted to oppressive gender roles has undoubtedly been a good thing, has the push to behave "like men" been harmful?
Sarah Hepola is the author of Blackout, a memoir about her relationship to alcohol and pattern of blacking out. I spoke with her recently about sex, relationships, drinking, alcoholism, feminism, and more.
Sarah's work has appeared in the New York Times, The Guardian, Bloomberg Businessweek, Salon, Elle, and Glamour. She is the host of the Texas Monthly podcast on the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, “America’s Girls.” Sarah is currently working on a memoir for The Dial Press/Random House about singlehood. She lives in Dallas.
Blackout: Remembering the Things I Drank to Forget is published by Grand Central Publishing: https://www.grandcentralpublishing.com/titles/sarah-hepola/blackout/9781455554584/

Is the latest Roe v Wade draft leak cause for panic? What has the abortion debate gotten wrong?
Abortion law in the US remains a heated topic of debate in light of the recent Supreme Court draft opinion leak, and the question of what overturning Roe v Wade could mean for American women. In an effort to have a non-toxic conversation among women with divergent view on abortion and abortion law, I hosted this conversation live on Wednesday, May 18.

Daryl Davis on why you should make friends with your enemies
Daryl Davis is a musician who has traveled the world, learning much in the process about ignorance, bigotry, and the value of talking to those different than you. He managed to convert around 200 neo-Nazis, white supremacists, and members of the Ku Klux Klan simply by talking to them. Recently, Daryl partnered with Minds, an alternative social media platform committed to free speech. In March, the Change Minds initiative published "The Censorship Effect: An analysis of the consequences of social media censorship and a proposal for an alternative moderation model," co-authored by Minds founder, Bill Ottman, and Daryl Davis.
I spoke with Daryl about what he has learned about racism in America, the value of engaging with and even befriending those you disagree with, and the impact of social media censorship.

Michelle Evans is standing up for parents (and kids!) in Texas
American schools are restricting parents' access to their kids — preventing parents from knowing what's being taught to their kids, what kinds of books are accessible in the library, and preventing them from having a say in what their kids are being exposed to at school.
Michelle Evans is a mom, and is fighting back — particularly against gender identity ideology, and the indoctrination of kids into this ideology.
Michelle is running to serve as State Representative in Texas House District 136.

Katie Herzog on the botched case of Florian Jaeger, #MeToo'd despite being cleared of all 'charges'
Journalist and co-host of Blocked and Reported, Katie Herzog, did a deep dive into the case of Florian Jaeger, the University of Rochester professor accused of sexual assault and harassment, cleared of all "charges" numerous times, but whose career and reputation were destroyed regardless. Those who accused him have remained unaccountable in terms of these disproven allegations, and have enjoyed illustrious careers, in some cases celebrated as heroes of the #MeToo movement.
