'Mandala 5' Original Art Painting Timelapse 10-26-23
This is another installment in my ongoing mandala art practice on Rumble. Mandalas have been used as a method for art therapy, and can be thought of in terms of Jungian Psychology. They are rooted in spiritual practices from traditions such as Buddhism. For me, painting mandalas is a way to enter a flow state where I can just have fun, and the process is more important than the finished product. Mandalas can be thought of as reflective of the unconscious mental emotional conditions and archetypes underlying the individual at that moment. It is interesting to see how they change depending upon the time and circumstances. This mandala is painted on a 12x12" canvas with acrylic paint.

'Brain on Page 2' Original Art Painting Timelapse 9-28-23
A Brain on Page painting is what I call it when I make a piece with no forethought, it is just a spontaneous flow state stream of consciousness, often abstract painting. In a way, I think of it like a screenshot of my brain at that moment in time.

'Buckethead' Original Art Painting Timelapse 9-22-23
This is a 12x12" painting of my favorite artist, Buckethead. Buckethead remains one of my favorite subjects to paint because of his enigmatic, mysterious presence.
I always enjoy painting portraits of individuals who inspire me greatly and it is hard for me to think of anyone who tops the list as much as Buckethead does for me. Phenomenally inspirational musician and artist. Enjoy!

'Inquisitrippy Alien' Original Art Painting Timelapse 8-23-23
This painting actually started about two years ago before I was streaming on Rumble. It has been sitting in my studio space for a long time staring at me, waiting for me to finish it, but the time was never right. Recently, I decided to pick it up and finish the second half of the painting on stream.

'Anastomosis' Original Art Painting Timelapse 8-12-23
This is an acrylic and ink painting on 11x14" canvas. It is a drippy abstract style which I often enjoy painting in, within which I painted a (self?) portrait. I like painting in this style because it allows a freedom of expression, and it accentuates the natural drippiness of acrylic paint. Anastomosis means "a connection or opening between two things that are normally diverging or branching, such as between blood vessels, leaf veins, or streams." 'Chromatic Feminine' Original Art Painting Timelapse 8-11-23
A painting of a female figure which I created live on Rumble. This painting is made with acrylic paint on 20x20" canvas. After the last painting I made in grayscale I decided to do a follow-up in full color without any black. It is always a pleasure to explore the female form in any style. 'Woman in Gray' Original Art Painting Timelapse 8-5-23
A painting of a female figure which I created live on Rumble. This painting is made with acrylic and ink on 16x12" canvas. I really enjoyed painting this because I rarely paint in black and white grayscale tones outside of sketches and drawings. My brain naturally goes towards bright colorful palettes, but I decided to try something different after my last painting, which had the background in gray tones. It turned out to be a really fun, pleasurable learning experience and I plan to do more paintings in grayscale and black and white. 'Mandala 2' Original Art Painting Timelapse 7-28-23
Painting Mandalas is a good way to enter a flow state for me. It provides a certain amount of stability with which I can inject spontaneity. No two are ever the same because they are influenced by the present moment and the flux of environmental conditions and the shifting mental state of the creator. I find the process relaxing, expressive, and reflective, and I enjoy it. I often make mandalas, and other doodles, in my down time. Sometimes, as is the case with this one, these preliminary doodles also become paintings later. This one is 12x12" acrylic and ink on unstretched canvas.
This project has turned into a daily practice which I call 'Morning Mandalas'. I make a mandala every morning and post it onto my Locals channel for my community. Join my Locals community, I plan to make more and more content there.

Art Talk - Art is an Infinite Game
'Art Talk' is what I call videos where I talk about topics related to art. In this video I chat a bit about why I think that Art is an Infinite Game, why that is important, even beneficial. Understanding the differences between a finite and an infinite game is important, because they operate on different rules and with different mindsets.
Featuring a clip by Simon Sinek for illustrative purposes on this subject.

I painted this on a paper bag I got from the grocery store. I'm trying to upcycle things and turn them into art mediums instead of throwing them out. I've been doing sketches and doodles during my downtime at work, so I decided to paint one onto this paper bag. Gesso and acrylic paint on paper bag.

'Rumble Raiders' Original Art Painting Timelapse 6-29-23
I painted this in April during a Rumble Raid event. I imagined a Rumble Raider, skeletal pirate figure, busting in with his pirate crew for the raid. Thanks again to Chris Pavlovski and the whole Rumble crew for facilitating these amazing community events and for supporting streamers on their platform. Rumble is truly the best platform in my mind, and I am excited to continue creating content on here.

'Rumbly' Original Art Painting Timelapse 4-15-23
I made this painting during the first Rumble Raid which took place. I wanted to make a Rumble inspired painting. Creating and recording videos has had a transformative effect on my painting and creative process. Rumble is an inspiring platform to me due to their values and the ways in which they strive to empower individual creators. In today's world, this is invaluable and quite inspiring to me. This painting takes some inspiration from the pirate and rum imagery which Rumble has embraced on social media. Rumble is definitely coming after that Youtube loot, and I think they will displace Youtube as the dominant force in video media online eventually. Their plans are epic and I can't wait to see them unfold and participate in my own way.

'Fluidity' Original Art Painting Timelapse 4-14-23
This is a 16x12" acrylic and ink painting on a canvas board. This piece began by painting over a previous painting created years ago by myself; it was a portrait of a roommate from many years ago. That painting which no longer served me or fulfilled my aesthetic sensibilities will now lie entombed under this new artistic offering. This is another entry in a series of trippy drippy eyes which I like to create, symbolizing the fluidity of consciousness and reality which the artist is able to perceive and tap into at will.
Painting over old paintings is important to me. Not only does this advance upon works which do not hold enough weight to me, but it also imbues new pieces with a hidden energy which lies below the surface, known only to the creator. Sometimes, this adds an important amount of Impasto to the painting above. I personally really enjoy painting on a canvas or object which already has marks applied to it, as opposed to a fresh canvas. It creates another creative dimension which subtly interacts with the process, and it can require more creative fluidity in order to work with this added dimension. Perhaps most importantly, it saves money and recycles important art materials, allowing for stronger pieces to come into creation.

Gratitude - To Steve and Chris: Thank You!
Anyone who knows me knows that I am the biggest Rumble supporter they know. I have put my money where my mouth is, became an investor in Rumble, and even went all-in by creating a channel for my art in order to try to bring the arts to Rumble and participate in my own small way. Every day that goes by reinforces that I have made the right decision with such positive feedback.
Recently, CEO Chris Pavlovski has been doing Rumble raids, raiding streamers on the platform and leaving huge Rumble Rants and donations. To see this type of support from the CEO of a company for the small users, is unprecedented and amazing. Yesterday on Easter, he and Steve aka Stevewilldoit once again raided the streams. After streaming for 4 hours working on a painting I developed specifically for the event I decided to take a break and to my surprise I was raided, maybe just minutes after turning my stream off! I wish I had stayed on a bit longer simply to react and give my profound appreciation to you guys in person, and to say how much I appreciate Rumble. But it really made me feel like my work was appreciated seeing this happen.
I just want to express my gratitude to Chris and Steve and Rumble and the entire Rumble community. I have found everyone to be the most supportive, awesome group of humans. I will be using this donation to upgrade every aspect of my Rumble channel and livestream over the coming couple of months. Thank you to everyone who tuned in during my livestream and Happy Easter.
