The Parousia - Rapture or Second Coming?
Another important term in Biblical eschatology that is often either overlooked or not sharply defined is the Greek word "Parousia," normally translated as "coming" in our English Bibles. Since this term is used so frequently in passages that refer to the end-times, it is crucial that we have a solid understanding of it. The only way we can do that is by recognizing how the Bible actually uses with term, and therefore how we must understand it. Does it apply to the Rapture or the Second Coming? We will examine that in this video.

Apostasy and Antichrist - Before the Rapture or After?
2 Thessalonians 2:2-3 appears on the surface in some English translations (especially the KJV) to imply that the apostasy and the revelation of the Antichrist PRECEDE the Rapture of the Church. If this is true, it contradicts the persistent message of the New Testament regarding Christ's signless and imminent coming since these two events would act as prerequisite signs. There are also those who interpret the "apostasy" (or "departure") as a reference to the Rapture (a "spiritual departure"). What is the truth about this? What is Paul actually conveying here? Join us as we discuss this often misunderstood passage!
