13 Innovative, Portable Homes for Travel or Leisure
From expanding campers to easy-to-assemble houses, these tiny homes will make you want to downsize. As space gets harder to find and house prices rise, people are looking to small homes as a solution to the housing crisis! These 13 designs prove that sizedoes not matter. The Pros and Cons of a Tiny Home - The so-called “Tiny Home Movement” means different things for different people. Some homebuyers like the financial advantages of owning a tiny property. There’s less mortgage debt or often no housing debt at all. And reducing housing expenses lets people save for other goals, like retirement or a kid’s college education.
Others enjoy the “hassle free” factor of tiny homes, of not having to fix, maintain and clean as much, or not needing to furnish so many rooms.
And still other tiny home dwellers say their biggest joy is in the freedom they get – freedom from having so much stuff cluttering their homes; freedom from worrying about expensive housing bills; and even the freedom to pick up and travel whenever they want without being overly concerned about their homes while they are away.
In fact, some tiny homeowners actually travel with their homes, since some of these properties are mobile – and set on wheels.
Among the potential drawbacks, most tiny homes – by their very nature – don’t offer a spare bedroom for overnights guests. So if you have family or friends over for a visit, there probably won’t be a place for them to stay the night.
While many tiny home residents say they love their comfy quarters, there is a possibility, of course, of going stir crazy or feeling a bit too cramped. That can happen, though, in any almost any size home.
Lastly, there may be some financial or legal issues to address.
For example, you might have to get special approval from a city or town in order to build a tiny home, since many municipalities actually have a minimum building size, and a tiny home may not qualify.
Additionally, some banks may not offer mortgages on a tiny home, so you might need to come up with the cash to buy or build a tiny home outright.
Because tiny homes are so affordable – usually around $20,000 to $60,000, depending on location, size and other factors – most buyers do purchase or build these properties using cash, without a home loan, according to Fivecoat-Campbell.

Why Your Clothes Shrink In The Wash & How To Prevent It
What causes clothes to shrink? Agitation and high temperatures in the washing and drying cycles can distort fabric and cause clothes to shrink. Washing fabrics, such as cotton, linen or wool, too vigorously can cause the fibers to tighten together and yield a shrunken garment. Hot water washing cycles and high-heat dryer settings can also damage the fabric and cause shrinkage.
How to keep clothes from shrinking - Incorporating the following laundry tips into your routine may help prevent your family’s favorite clothes from shrinking.
1. Check fabric care labels before you buy & before doing laundry
The first step to preventing your clothes from shrinking is to follow the laundry instructions on your garment’s care tag. Check the care tag not only before laundering, but also before purchasing new clothing so you know what to expect.
Checking the care tag for fabric type can give you an idea if the garment is prone to shrinking, such as cotton or linen, or if garments are already “pre-shrunk.” Some garments may be deemed as “dry clean only” and shouldn’t be cleaned in a washer. In addition, be mindful to pay attention to the recommended water temperature, laundry cycle and drying instructions. As a general rule, washing clothes in cold, gentle cycles with low-heat drying can help prevent your garments from shrinking.

2. Use cold water and the proper wash cycles
If you only remember one rule about how to avoid shrinking clothes, remember this: keep it cool. Clothes are much more likely to shrink when exposed to hot water or high dryer settings.
Washing clothes in cold water goes a long way toward preserving the “off-the-rack” size. Avoiding heavy duty cycles, fast spins and high-heat drying can also prevent shrinkage. Use delicate cycles instead, and place delicate clothes in a mesh laundry bag for added protection. When drying, consider a low-heat or air dry setting. When in doubt, always follow the instructions on your garment’s care tag.

3. Select the tumble dry or air dry setting
Drying your clothing on a tumble dry or air dry setting can help keep clothes from shrinking by minimizing wear to the fabric fibers. Your clothing’s care tag will provide the optimal temperature and dryer settings to help avoid shrinkage.
4. Avoid overdrying laundry
Overdrying and exposing your clothes to long cycles of high heat can damage the fabric and cause clothes to shrink. Instead, opt for tumble or air dry settings in shorter intervals in order to preserve your clothing.

5. Try air drying your clothes
Does air drying clothes help prevent shrinking? Yes. Instead of using your dryer, consider air drying your clothes for a fresh, natural drying alternative that helps prevent your clothes from shrinking.

How Long It Takes To Get Frostbite
What is frostbite? - Frostbite is considered a type of burn that happens when the skin and tissues below it begin to freeze. It usually occurs when skin is exposed to below-freezing temperatures for a certain amount of time, which varies based on the temperature and how fast the wind is blowing (windchill). How long does it take to get frostbite?- The colder the temperature, the faster you can get frostbite. And when you add wind and water to the mix, the process speeds up even more. Every person and every situation are different, but here are a few guidelines for understanding the risk for frostbite:
When the temperature is zero degrees Fahrenheit or below, it takes about 30 minutes for exposed skin to get frostbite.
At 15 degrees below zero with even a little bit of wind, frostbite is possible within 15 minutes.
What does frostbite look like?
In more mild cases of frostbite, the skin appears pale blue or grayish. In severe cases, red and swollen blisters can develop after rewarming the affected areas. Afterward, skin can turn dark purple or black if tissues are badly damaged.
Early symptoms of frostbite
Your fingers, toes, nose, ears, cheeks and chin are the most common places for frostbite. Knowing the early symptoms can help you treat frostbite fast and have the best recovery outcome. Here’s what the first signs of it look and feel like:
Your skin starts to become cold
You may experience a pins-and-needles sensation
You have a loss of feeling (numbness)
Your skin turns white or a pale, bluish gray
Your skin feels stiff or rubbery to the touch
Stages of frostbite
There are three stages of frostbite: mild, superficial and severe. These are determined by how deeply your skin and tissues have frozen. Mild frostbite (frostnip)
Mild frostbite is when your skin has been irritated by the cold, causing pain or numbness. You may feel a tingling, prickly sensation when the skin warms again. Mild frostbite is temporary and can be treated at home (we cover treatment remedies below).
Superficial frostbite
When skin layers have frozen farther down, it’s considered superficial frostbite. In addition to the pain and numbness of mild frostbite, at this stage your skin also becomes slightly discolored, turning light blue or grayish. When the skin is gently rewarmed, you may experience a prickly, burning sensation, swelling, and the area might feel warm (a sign it’s been affected more seriously). 12-36 hours later you may notice fluid-filled blisters. You can treat superficial frostbite with home remedies right when it happens, but you should seek medical care soon after rewarming the skin.
Deep frostbite (severe)
Deep frostbite (the most severe kind) means that all the layers of your skin and the tissues beneath it have frozen significantly. When this happens, your skin turns white or a bluish gray, and is numb to feelings of cold or pain. It may be stiff and rubbery when touched, and your joints and muscles may have difficulty working. After rewarming the skin, fluid-filled blisters may appear within 24-48 hours, and the damaged skin will turn black.
Severe frostbite has longer-term affects and requires immediate medical attention – sometimes involving hospitalization. In the most critical cases, tissues are seriously damaged and amputation may be needed if blood flow to the skin is permanently blocked. In other instances of severe frostbite, patients may avoid amputation, but experience lifelong numbness in the affected areas.

How to Save Someone from Choking
If a choking person can cough forcefully, let the person keep coughing. Coughing might naturally remove the stuck object. If a person can't cough, talk, cry or laugh forcefully, give first aid to the person. The American Red Cross recommends the following steps:
Give five back blows. Stand to the side and just behind a choking adult. For a child, kneel down behind. Place your arm across the person's chest to support the person's body. Bend the person over at the waist to face the ground. Strike five separate times between the person's shoulder blades with the heel of your hand.
Give five abdominal thrusts. If back blows don't remove the stuck object, give five abdominal thrusts, also known as the Heimlich maneuver.
Alternate between five blows and five thrusts until the blockage is dislodged.
Some sources only teach the abdominal thrust. It's OK not to use back blows if you haven't learned the back-blow technique. Both approaches are acceptable for adults and children older than age 1.
To give abdominal thrusts to someone else:
Stand behind the person. For a child, kneel down behind. Place one foot slightly in front of the other for balance. Wrap your arms around the waist. Tip the person forward slightly.
Make a fist with one hand. Put it just above the person's navel.
Grasp the fist with the other hand. Press into the stomach, also called the abdomen, with a quick, upward thrust — as if trying to lift the person up. For a child, use gentle yet firm pressure to avoid damaging the internal organs.
Give five abdominal thrusts. Check if the blockage has been removed. Repeat as needed.
If you're the only rescuer, give back blows and abdominal thrusts first. Then call 911 or your local emergency number for help. If another person is there, have that person call for help while you give first aid.
If the person becomes unconscious, start standard cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) with chest compressions and rescue breaths.
If the person is pregnant or if you can't get your arms around the stomach, give chest thrusts:
Put your hands at the base of the breastbone, just above the joining of the lowest ribs.
Press hard into the chest with a quick thrust. This is the same action as the Heimlich maneuver.
Repeat until the blockage is removed from the airway.
To clear the airway of an unconscious person:
Lower the person onto the floor, with the back on the floor and arms to the sides.
Clear the airway. If you can see the object, reach a finger into the mouth to sweep out the object. Never finger sweep if you can't see the object. You risk pushing the blockage deeper into the airway. This is very risky with young children.
Begin CPR if the person still doesn't respond. If the airway is still blocked, use chest compressions such as those that are used in CPR to remove the stuck object. Only use two rescue breaths per cycle. Recheck the mouth regularly for the object.
To clear the airway of a choking infant younger than age 1:
Sit and hold the infant facedown on your forearm. Rest your forearm on your thigh. Hold the infant's chin and jaw to support the head. Place the head lower than the trunk.
Thump the infant gently but firmly five times on the middle of the back. Use the heel of your hand. Point your fingers up so that you don't hit the back of the infant's head. Gravity and the back thumps should release the blockage.
Turn the infant faceup on your forearm if breathing hasn't started. Rest your arm on your thigh. Place the infant's head lower than the trunk.
Give five gentle but firm chest compressions with your fingers. Place two fingers just below the nipple line. Press down about 1 1/2 inches. Let the chest rise between each compression.
Repeat the back thumps and chest compressions if breathing doesn't start. Call for emergency medical help.
Begin infant CPR if the airway is clear but the infant doesn't start breathing.
If you're alone and choking:
Call 911 or your local emergency number right away. Then, give yourself abdominal thrusts, also called the Heimlich maneuver, to remove the stuck object.
Place a fist slightly above your navel.
Grasp your fist with the other hand.
Bend over a hard surface. A countertop or chair will do.
Shove your fist inward and upward.
To prepare yourself for these situations, learn the Heimlich maneuver and CPR in a certified first-aid training course.

How Environmentalists Kill Millions Of People - Banning DDT - A Great Example
DDT: Banned Lifesaver - Death from malaria means convulsions and delirium, retching and diarrhea, joint and abdominal pain so excruciating that coma can be a blessing. The parasitic infection destroys the bodys red blood cells and clogs its capillaries, depriving vital organs and the brain of blood. That malaria strikes some 300 million people annuallyand kills an African child every 30 secondsis all the more tragic given how preventable it is. But modern environmental ideology simply doesnt permit the use of DDT, the most effective means of eradicating the ghastly disease.
Dichloro-diphenyl-trichloroethane (DDT) certainly ranks among the most senselessly demonized synthetic compounds. Despite decades of research vindicating the insecticide, the World Health Organization recently announced plans for a zero DDT world, i.e., the total phase-out of the chemical during the next decade. Instead, the agency, in conjunction with the UN Environmental Program, will spend $40 million to test non-chemical (read less successful) methods of malaria control.
Only three years ago, WHO had endorsed its widespread use, declaring that DDT presents no health risk when used properly and Spraying is like providing a huge mosquito net over an entire household for around-the-clock protection. The agencys sanction in 2006 came 30 years after it renounced DDT amid unsubstantiated claims of environmental risks.
Such policy yo-yo frustrates those on the front-lines of the malaria fight who see special interest politics, not science, driving public health policy. Indeed, groups who prosper by collecting contributions for bed nets and other less effective prevention methods are among the most virulent critics of DDT.
As Roger Bate, of Africa Fighting Malaria, recently told the Wall Street Journal: Sadly, WHOs about-face has nothing to do with science or health and everything to do with bending to the will of well-placed environmentalists. Bed net manufacturers and sellers of less-effective insecticides also don't benefit when DDT is employed and therefore oppose it, often behind the scenes.
It was not always so. Swiss chemist Paul Muller was awarded a Nobel Prize for his formulation of DDT in 1939. Thereafter, it became the premiere weapon in defeating malaria across North America, Southeast Asia and a chunk of Europe, freeing a billion people from the miseries of infection.
However, full-scale eradication efforts were never mounted in Africa, where 90% of malaria deaths now occurmost among children under age five.
Widespread agricultural application of DDT captured the attention of naturalist Rachel Carson and others, who claimed the chemical was destroying wildlife and causing cancer in humans. In fact, a great deal of Carsons conclusions about human health and the environment were patently wrong, more the product of her imagination than proper scientific research.
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency banned DDT in 1972 despite the findings of administrative law Judge Edmund Sweeney, who concluded that DDT is not a carcinogenic, mutagenic or teratogenic hazard to humans nor does it have a deleterious effect on freshwater fish, estuarine organisms, wild birds or other wildlife.
Canada likewise banned its sale and use in 1990.
Nothing better has come along in the ensuing years. DDT remains the most affordable and effective method of vector control, which means it prevents infection by reducing the transmission of malaria from infected mosquitoes to people. Spray the walls of a house and the bugs are repelled from entering. The chemical so irritates mosquitoes that they exit fast. And, it kills any bugs that actually land on sprayed surfaces. Its potency can persist for up to a year, depending upon the concentration of spray and type of wall surface.
Proper and timely applications of DDT reduce malaria transmission by up to 90%.
Despite DDTs benefits and relative safety, the United Nations and World Health Organization prefer instead to promote more costly and less effective control methods. Citing success with a pilot program in Central America (60% reduction of malaria cases), the agencies intend to replace DDT with pharmacosuppression, i.e., dispensing the drug chloroquine to curb infection. But chloroquine has been shown to cause ventricular arrhythmias, while mosquitoes build resistance to the drug over time. Moreover, the systematic delivery of legitimate drugs to millions of people in the poverty-plagued far reaches of Africa will be problematic, if not impossible. (In contrast, locals can quickly be taught proper methods of in-home spraying.)
The zero DDT world campaign also includes promoting bed nets and window screens; planting mosquito-repellent trees and stocking waterways with mosquito-hungry fish; draining ditches; and encouraging personal hygiene. None of which can match the affordability and ease of DDT, but all of which pass muster with the chemical-phobes.
Evidently, elements within the environmental lobby prefer the blood of malaria victims on their hands to DDT on the walls of malaria survivors.

White Slaves in Africa ~ Forgotten History of the Sultans & Barbary Pirates
Subscribe to "A Day In History" Channel - https://www.youtube.com/c/ADayInHistoryOfficial -- “From the halls of Montezuma, to the shores of Tripoli...” are the beginning lines from the United States Marine Corps Hymn, and the “Tripoli” that's mentioned is the largest city in today's Libya. The hymn was written sometime after 1867, and these lines commemorate two of the Marine Corps' most famous battles “the halls of Montezuma referring to the Mexican-American War of 1846-48, and “the shores of Tripoli” refers to the battles the Marine Corps, along with the US Navy, fought with the infamous “Barbary Pirates” who terrorized the coast of North Africa, the Mediterranean Sea and indeed, a large part of Europe for at three centuries.
Slavery had existed in the Mediterranean Basin since before the time of Rome. During the Roman expansion, people from all corners of the empire were enslaved: Franks, Germans, Slavs, Greeks, various people from the Balkans, Africans traded to Rome by Egypt, Jews from Israel and more. Some of the richest people in Rome and the Gothic and Arab empires which followed it were slave traders. Many Viking raiders grew rich and powerful from the treasure they hoarded trading slaves. Slavery was common in Europe, the north coast of Africa, and the Middle East until relatively recent times.
The Barbary States
In the 1500s, the Ottoman Turks expanded along the North African coast. Due to distance and the fiercely independent nature of the Berbers and others, however, Ottoman control of the Barbary Coast was nominal. As long as the people there recognized the Ottoman Sultan as their overlord and gave help when it was asked, the Turks left the people of the coast alone.
One of the many interesting things about the Barbary Pirates is that, as time went on, many of them were not from the region. Many were Europeans, acting much like today's mercenaries, looking for adventure and a quick buck. Unfortunately, what they were mainly looking for were other human being to sell into slavery.

The Reason Why Most Plane Seats Are Blue - Color Psychology
Ever wonder why nearly all planes have blue seats? You've probably never noticed. Or why brand new models are still equipped with ash trays when it's illegal to smoke on board these days? Well wonder no more. Here we unpack some of lesser-known facts behind the design of an aircraft cabin.
Why seats are generally blue
From Ryanair and British Airways to American Airlines (the world’s largest carrier), airlines across the board incorporate various shades of blue in their cabin seats, and it’s no coincidence. There does appear to be some psychology behind it.
Blue is associated with the positive qualities of “trust, efficiency, serenity, coolness, reflection and calm,” according to Colour Affects, the London-based consultancy run by Angela Wright, author of The Beginner’s Guide to Colour Psychology.
Nigel Goode, lead aviation designer and co-founder at Priestman Goode, which has been delivering aircraft interiors for 30 years for airlines, including most recently the Airbus Airspace cabins, states: "Our job as designers is to reinforce the airline’s brand and make it more recognisable, but our primary concern is to deliver an interior that maximises comfort to create a pleasant environment. “It’s all about making the travelling experience less stressful and blue is said to evoke a feeling of calm. While some of the more budget airlines might use brasher, bolder shades, most others go with muted tones. The overarching aim is to create a home-like relaxing feel, so airlines tend to use muted colours that feel domestic, natural and earthy for that reason."
It's also a trend that emerged decades ago and has simply stuck, he added: “Blue became the colour of choice because it’s a conservative, non-contentious, corporate shade that symbolises being trustworthy and safe, so you see it used in all of the older airlines like British Airways.”
Several previous studies have indicated strong links between colours and consumer perceptions of a brand, including one where researchers found that up to 90 per cent of snap judgments about products are made based on colour alone, Psychology Today reported back in 2014.

The Sound of a Black Hole - NASA Releases Spooky Audio
NASA has just released sound from a black hole and it's very eerie. NASA's exoplanets Twitter account unveiled audio from the galaxy cluster Perseus, 240 million lightyears away from Earth. The sound waves were actually previously identified by astronomers but have been made audible for the first time. Scientists say the black hole sends out pressure waves that cause ripples in the hot gas, which can be translated into a note. To be clear, though, the actual note is one humans can't hear. It's about 57 octaves below middle C. But the people at NASA say they shifted the note so we could hear it — amplified it and then mixed it with other data they have about black holes.

Saber-Toothed Tiger - Ice Age Prehistoric Predator - Full Documentary
Until about 10,000 years ago, the saber-tooth cat Smilodon fatalis was a fearsome predator in what is now the American West. More than 3,000 fossilized cats have been pulled from the acrid ooze of the La Brea tar pits in California, and researchers studying them have long pictured Smilodon as a lion-like hunter, chasing bison and horses out on open grasslands.
But now, analyses of hundreds of teeth from La Brea are painting a vastly different picture of this prehistoric terror, which could weigh up to 600 pounds and sported seven-inch-long canine teeth.
“The iconic images you see of saber-tooth cats taking down bison, that’s actually not supported at all,” says study leader Larisa DeSantis, a paleontologist at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. The research, published today in the journal Current Biology, provides evidence that Smilodon may instead have been a forest dweller that primarily feasted on leaf-browsing creatures.
“[They] were more likely to be taking things like tapirs and deer, as opposed to horses and bison,” DeSantis says.
Her team’s comprehensive study also helps to explain why smaller predators such as coyotes and grey wolves were able to survive to the modern day, while larger carnivores such as saber-tooth cats, dire wolves, and American lions all went extinct 10,000 to 12,000 years ago. (Also find out about a type of saber-tooth cat that may have encountered the first humans migrating into Europe.)
The key, her team suggests, was dietary flexibility following the disappearance of many of North America’s large prehistoric herbivores, such as giant ground sloths, mammoths, mastodons, and camels. For instance, previous work found that coyotes got 20 percent smaller after the herbivore extinction event, and the new look at their teeth shows that they also adjusted their lifestyles to adapt to their new reality.
“When the large predators and prey go extinct, not only do they shrink, but they fundamentally change their diet and start scavenging to become the opportunists we know today,” DeSantis says.

Viagra Prevents Alzheimer's by 69% - New Study
Viagra associated with reduced risk of Alzheimer’s disease.
People who took the drug sildenafil were less likely to develop Alzheimer’s disease.
In cultured human neurons, sildenafil enhanced growth and reduced Alzheimer’s biomarkers.
The findings support further investigation of sildenafil as a possible treatment for Alzheimer’s disease.
Alzheimer’s disease (AD) is the most common form of dementia. It is expected to affect 16 million Americans by 2050. The hallmarks of AD are amyloid plaques and tau neurofibrillary tangles in the brain. Efforts to develop new drugs that directly target amyloid or tau proteins haven’t yielded significant clinical benefits for patients. Another approach to developing AD treatments would be to seek existing drugs that could potentially be repurposed.
A team of researchers led by Dr. Feixiong Cheng at the Cleveland Clinic developed a computational method for identifying FDA-approved drugs that might be effective against AD. NIH’s National Institute of Aging (NIA) supported the study. Results appeared in Nature Aging on December 6, 2021.
The researchers began by identifying genes associated with AD pathology. Then they constructed a network of molecular interactions connecting these genes. They focused on the subset of genes associated with both amyloid plaques and tau tangles, instead of one or the other. They also constructed networks of drugs and their molecular targets for more than 1,600 FDA-approved drugs. Then they calculated the relationships between each drug’s targets and the AD network components.
The team identified 66 drugs with the closest relationships to AD-associated genes. Many are already being tested in ongoing AD clinical trials, proving the soundness of the approach. After considering other factors, the top candidate was sildenafil, also known by the brand names Viagra and Revatio. Sildenafil is FDA-approved to treat erectile dysfunction and pulmonary hypertension.
Next, the team analyzed insurance claims data from more than 7 million Americans. They found that the people (mostly men) who took sildenafil were 69% less likely to develop AD over 6 years than those who did not take the drug. This association between sildenafil and AD held after adjusting for sex, age, and other diseases and conditions.
To understand how sildenafil might affect AD, the researchers grew neurons from stem cells derived from AD patients. Exposing the cells to sildenafil led to increased growth of neurites, which connect neurons to each other, and decreased tau phosphorylation, an early biomarker of AD.
Taken together, these results show an association between sildenafil use and reduced AD risk. But the researchers emphasize that they haven’t shown that sildenafil prevents or reverses AD. There may be other factors responsible for the association.
“Because our findings only establish an association between sildenafil use and reduced incidence of Alzheimer’s disease, we are now planning a mechanistic trial and a phase II randomized clinical trial to test causality and confirm sildenafil’s clinical benefits for Alzheimer’s patients,” Cheng explains.
“This is one of many efforts we are supporting to find existing drugs or available safe compounds for other conditions that would be good candidates for Alzheimer’s disease clinical trials,” says Dr. Jean Yuan, a program director at NIA. Repurposing existing drugs could save time and costs of bringing AD therapies to patients.

Fix Your Neck Pain with POSTURE PUMP - And Your Lower Back Pain Too
Get it on Amazon- https://amzn.to/3Jg6Oot --- Great Animation by Posture Pump® - Chiropractors love this device - Stop Suffering from Painful Neck & Back Stiffness. Get Deep Corrective Relief at Home with Posture Pump® ...With the undeniable connection between postural curve loss and early degenerative joint changes while analyzing spinal x-rays (static and fluoroscopic), MRI's and CT scans of over 16,000 patients during their treatment. Common complaints were neck pain and stiffness, back pain and stiffness, headaches and nerve pain. Common radiographic findings were cervical kyphosis and other postural curve loss, osteophyte formation, disc compression, disc herniation, and aberrant spinal joint motion and alignment. Various methods available at the time failed to ameliorate postural curve loss and disc compression when viewed on post x-rays and MRI's. It became apparent that commonly used traction devices did not expand the discs properly and further compromised the natural postural curves.
Necessity being the mother of invention, Expanding Ellipsoidal Decompression (EED®) via Posture Pump® was born. Under EED®, high level joint separation is achieved by expansion of elliptical air cells into the lordotic concavities (curves) of the neck and back. As EED® occurs; bulging disc material is drawn toward the nucleus pulposus and away from the spinal cord. This unique action aligns joints in a curved configuration while increasing disc height in a ratio corresponding to the disc’s natural wedged shape. As concluded in both 2008 and 2006 IRB Approved MRI Studies done by neurosurgeon and researcher, C. Norman Shealy, M.D., “Considering the cost, effectiveness and ease of therapy, Expanding Ellipsoidal Decompression (EED®) via Posture Pump® appears to be the first choice for treatment of cervicogenic pain and cervicogenic headache.”
Posture Pro, Inc., manufacturer of Posture Pump® Disc Hydrator® products was established in 1994 and is located in Huntington Beach, California. All Posture Pump® products are made in the U.S.A.

67 Most Ridiculously Expensive & Unique Things In Dubai
The city of Dubai has evolved into one of the world’s most architecturally and technologically advanced cities in just a few decades. The citizens of the futuristic city have a taste for the more luxurious things that life has to offer. The UAE, and Dubai in particular, attracts tons of celebrity travelers every year, such as Robert De Niro, the Kardashians, and pretty much every Instagram influencer worth their weight in likes. The city, which has a GDP of $108 billion, boasts incredible resorts, marine-life parks, skyscrapers, and artificial islands. The ultramodern architecture and man-made landscape contrast nicely with all of the natural flora and fauna in the area.
For those able to afford the luxe lifestyle, Dubai locals are able to indulge themselves in everything from 24-karat gold desserts to exotic pets that belong in zoos. Given the right amount of money, there are not many things that Emiratis are not able to purchase. The following are just a handful of life’s hidden pleasures that one can find perhaps only in Dubai. Dubai instantly conjures up visions of a billionaire playground with luxury shopping, fine dining and the exotic and opulent lifestyle of the rich and famous. The name refers to both the emirate and the largest and most renowned city in the United Arab Emirates, and Dubai’s reputation means it has a lot to live up to. It certainly delivers.
Rising from the desert landscape on the edge of the ocean, the city’s skyline is a dazzling sketch of high rises, including the jaw-dropping Burj Khalifa, the highest building on the planet. Even for those who’ve never set foot anywhere in the UAE, the city’s artificial palm-shaped islands, proliferation of glitzy shopping malls and high-octane lifestyle are definitive and recognizable.
But look beyond the highly stylized surface of this holiday hotspot and there’s also a depth that is, for some, quite unexpected. There’s still a strong sense of its humble fishing town history in the old neighborhoods’ souks, forts and architecture, and exploring both sides of this extraordinary city of two halves is as fascinating as it is surprising. Bold New Theory ~ How The Great Pyramids Were Made ~ Water & Sand Construction
https://www.secretofthepyramids.com/ -- This video combines all aspects of my theory using illustrations, animation, and detailed descriptions to demonstrate precisely how the Egyptians harnessed the power of water to build the pyramids. I detail the likely terrain of the area, the waterways, and the dam constructed to control water flow and prolong transport; the sluices and shadufs utilized to navigate elevation changes and facilitate construction; and finally, the amount of time and the number of workers required to create one of the most remarkable structures ever created

Top 10 Strangest Archaeological Discoveries Found on Earth
Giant stone spheres — some dating as far back as A.D. 600 — pepper the Diquis Delta of southern Costa Rica. Known locally as Las Bolas ("The Balls"), these monuments were the works of a Pre-Colombian civilization, and most are made from gabbro, a rock that forms from molten magma. The people who carved the stones into their perfectly spherical shapes likely did so using other small stones, according to archaeologists who study the ancient rocks.
Many non-experts have speculated that the so-called Diquis Spheres were used for astronomical purposes, while others think they may have pointed the way to significant places. The truth is that no one knows for sure. The Chibchan people who once populated Costa Rica and other parts of Central America vanished in the wake of the Spanish conquest, and the purpose of the spheres vanished with them.
Nazca Lines
From the ground, the Nazca Lines of Peru are nothing spectacular. However, seen from the air, from which they were first spotted by commercial aircraft in the 1920s and 30s, they are staggering.
Archaeologists agree the enormous shapes there are hundreds of them, ranging from geometric lines to complicated depictions of animals, plants and imaginary figures were made over 2,000 years ago by people of the pre-Inca Nazca culture, who simply removed the red surface pebbles to reveal the lighter earth below in designs of their choice.
Just why they did it remains enigmatic, prompting conspiracy theorists to float ideas about alien landings and ancient astrology. The lines were more likely to have been a ritual communication method with the Nazca's deities, say archaeologists.
Gobekli Tepe
Humans first settled into permanents towns, farmed and then built temples, in that order, starting in 8,000 B.C. Or did they?
An amazing archaeological discovery made in 1994 at Gobekli Tepe, a rural area of Turkey, has blown that hypothesis apart, prompting new questions about the evolution of civilization.
Containing multiple rings of huge stone pillars carved with scenes of animals and dating to the 10th millennium B.C., Gobekli Tepe is considered the world's oldest place of worship. Yet evidence also suggests the people who built it were semi-nomadic hunters, likely unaware of agriculture, which followed in the area only five centuries later. Because of Gobekli Tepe, archaeologists now have to ask which came first.
The Sacsayhuaman (also Saksaywaman or Saqsawaman, meaning ‘Royal Eagle’) fortress-temple complex lies at the northern edge of the former Inca capital Cuzco. Constructed during the reign of Pachacuti (1438-1471 CE) and his successors, its massive, well-built walls remain today as a testimony not only to Inca power but also the skills of Inca architects and their approach of blending their monumental structures harmoniously into the natural landscape. The Sacsayhuaman is still used today for reenactments of Inca-inspired ceremonies.
The Frightening Discovery of the Mount Owen Claw
Nearly three decades ago, a team of archaeologists were carrying out an expedition inside a large cave system on Mount Owen in New Zealand when they stumbled across a frightening and unusual object. With little visibility in the dark cave, they wondered whether their eyes were deceiving them, as they could not fathom what lay before them—an enormous, dinosaur-like claw still intact with flesh and scaly skin. The claw was so well-preserved that it appeared to have come from something that had only died very recently.
The archaeological team eagerly retrieved the claw and took it for analysis. The results were astounding; the mysterious claw was found to be the 3,300-year-old mummified remains of an upland moa, a large prehistoric bird that had disappeared from existence centuries earlier.
The upland moa (Megalapteryx didinus) was a species of moa bird endemic to New Zealand. A DNA analysis published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences suggested that the first moa appeared around 18.5 million years ago and there were at least ten species, but they were wiped from existence “in the most rapid, human-facilitated megafauna extinction documented to date.”
