Ar Hyd y Nos" (English: All Through the Night) is a Welsh song sung to a tune that was first recorded in Edward Jones' Musical and Poetical Relics of the Welsh Bards (1784). The most commonly sung Welsh lyrics were written by John Ceiriog Hughes (1832-1887), and have been translated into several languages, including English (most famously by Harold Boulton (1859–1935)[1]) and Breton. One of the earliest English versions, to different Welsh lyrics by one John Jones, was by Thomas Oliphant in 1862.[2]
The melody is also used in the hymns "Go My Children With My Blessing” (1983) and “God That Madest Earth and Heaven” (1827).
The song is highly popular with traditional Welsh male voice choirs, and is sung by them at festivals in Wales and around the world.[3]
The song is also sometimes considered a Christmas carol, and as such has been performed by many artists on Christmas albums, including Olivia Newton-John and Michael McDonald, who sang it as a duet on Newton-John's 2007 album Christmas Wish. Cerys Matthews sang it solo on her 2010 album

"Baby Shark" is a children's song and associated dance. Originating as a campfire song, "Baby Shark" became very popular in 2016, when Pinkfong, a South Korean entertainment company, released a version of the song with a YouTube music video that went viral across social media, online video and radio. In November 2020, Pinkfong's version became the most-viewed YouTube video of all time, with over 7 billion views.[1][2] In January 2022, it became the first YouTube video to reach 10 billion views.
"Baby Shark" originated as a campfire song or chant. The original song dates back to at least the 20th century,[5] potentially created by camp counselors inspired by the movie Jaws.[6][7] In the chant, each member of a family of sharks is introduced, with campers using their hands to imitate the sharks' jaws. Different versions of the song have the sharks hunting fish, eating a sailor, or killing people who then go to heaven.[8]
Various entities have copyrighted original videos and sound recordings of the song, and some have trademarked merchandise based on their versions. However, according to The New York Times, the underlying song and characters are believed to be in the public domain.[9]

I can’t really find much out about this song except that it’s a traditional American song and Bob Dylan once covered it.
Lyrics
Alberta, let your hair hang low.Alberta, let your hair hang low.I'll give you more gold thanyour apron can hold,if you just let your hair hang low.
Alberta, what's on your mind?Alberta, what's on your mind? You keep me worried, you keep me restless all the timeAlberta, what's on your mind?
Alberta, don't you treat me unkind.Alberta, don't you treat me unkind.O, my heart is so sad'cause I want you so bad.Alberta, don't you treat me unkind.

"America (My Country, 'Tis of Thee)" is an American patriotic song, the lyrics of which were written by Samuel Francis Smith.[2] The song served as one of the de facto national anthems of the United States (along with songs like "Hail, Columbia") before the adoption of "The Star-Spangled Banner" as the official U.S. national anthem in 1931.[3] The melody used is the same as that of one of the de facto national anthems of the United Kingdom, "God Save the Queen".

"Nearer, My God, to Thee" is a 19th-century Christian hymn by Sarah Flower Adams, which retells the story of Jacob's dream. Genesis 28:11–12 can be translated as follows: "So he came to a certain place and stayed there all night, because the sun had set. And he took one of the stones of that place and put it at his head, and he lay down in that place to sleep. Then he dreamed, and behold, a ladder was set up on the earth, and its top reached to heaven; and there the angels of God were ascending and descending on it..."
The hymn is well known, among other uses, as the alleged last song the band on RMS Titanic played before the ship sank and was sung by the crew and passengers of the SS Valencia as it sank off the Canadian coast in 1906.

"Soft Kitty" is a children's song, popularized by the characters Sheldon and Penny in the American sitcom The Big Bang Theory, and which elsewhere may be rendered as "Warm Kitty".[1] A 2015 copyright lawsuit alleged the words to "Warm Kitty" were written by Edith Newlin, however the lawsuit was dismissed, because the court found that the plaintiffs failed to show they had a valid claim.[2][3][4][5] “They have failed to establish that they own a valid copyright as necessary to state a copyright infringement claim.” [5]
In The Big Bang Theory, the song is described by Sheldon as a song sung by his mother when he is ill. The lyrics on The Big Bang Theory are: "Soft kitty, warm kitty, little ball of fur! Happy kitty, sleepy kitty, purr purr purr!" A scene in an episode of Young Sheldon, the prequel series to The Big Bang Theory, depicts the origin of the song. This aired on February 1, 2018, and shows Sheldon's mother Mary singing the song to her son, who is suffering with the flu.[6]
Versions of the song have been released by Australian children's performer Patsy Biscoe,[7] and by the long-running ABC children's program Play School[8]—a recording sung by Philip Quast and Barbara Frawley was released on the show's 1993 album The Best of Play School,[7][9] which predates The Big Bang Theory and has the lyrics reversed, instead going: "Warm kitty, soft kitty, little ball of fur. Sleepy kitty, happy kitty, purr purr purr."[citation needed] The song remains part of Play School's catalog of children's songs regularly performed[7] on the program: the show's presenters occasionally perform the song for their young viewers.
