OBS Studio (formerly Open Broadcaster Software or OBS, for short)[9] is a free, open-source, and cross-platform screencasting and streaming app. It is available for Windows, macOS, Linux distributions,[a] and BSD.[b] OBS Project raises funds on Open Collective and Patreon
OBS Studio is a free and open-source app for screencasting and live streaming. Written in C/C++ and built with Qt, OBS Studio provides real-time capture, scene composition, recording, encoding, and broadcasting via the Real Time Messaging Protocol (RTMP). It can stream videos to any RTMP-supporting destination, including YouTube, Twitch, Instagram and Facebook.[12]
For video encoding, OBS Studio can use the x264 transcoder,[13] Intel Quick Sync Video, Nvidia NVENC and the AMD Video Coding Engine to encode video streams into the H.264/MPEG-4 AVC or H.265/HEVC formats.[14] It can encode multiple tracks of audio in the AAC format. More experienced users can choose any codecs and containers available in libavcodec and libavformat, or output the stream to a custom FFmpeg URL.[15]
OBS Studio also supports plug-ins to extend its functionality.[16]
OBS 24.0.0
The main user interface is organized into five sections: scenes, sources, audio mixer, transitions, and controls. Scenes are groups of sources like live and recorded video, text and audio. The mixer panel lets the user mute the audio, and adjust the volume through virtual faders, and apply effects by pressing the cogwheel next to the mute button. The control panel has options for starting/stopping a stream or recording, a button to transform OBS to a more professional Studio Mode (see below), a button for opening the settings menu and a button to exit the program. The upper section has a live video preview, used to monitor and edit the current scene. The user interface can be switched to a variety of themes, including both dark and light themes, depending on what the user prefers.
When in Studio Mode, there are two canvas preview windows, the left one for modifying and preview of non-active scenes, while the right window is for preview of the live scene ("Preview" and "Program" respectively). In the middle there is a secondary transition button, allowing for transitioning to the non-active scene in the left window using user-defined "quick transitions".

Røde Microphones (/ˈroʊd/; stylised RØDE) is an Australian audio technology company that designs and manufactures microphones and related accessories, audio interfaces and consoles, and audio software. It is recognised as a world-leader in several audio categories across consumer, prosumer and professional markets,[2] specialising in products for music recording, location sound recording, broadcast and podcasting, filmmaking, and content creation.
RØDE is the flagship brand of the Freedman Group, which began operations in 1967 as Freedman Electronics and has since acquired several audio companies, including SoundField, APHEX and Event Electronics. It is headquartered in Sydney, Australia, with offices around the world including the USA and China, and exports its products to 118 countries globally
On-camera microphone success
RØDE introduced the world's first compact on-camera microphone, the VideoMic, to its range in 2004. It found success amongst indie filmmakers and the growing vlogging and YouTube filmmaker markets. The company continued to expand its VideoMic range in the late-2000s and 2010s with the VideoMic Pro, VideoMicro and VideoMic NTG, as well as stereo models like the Stereo VideoMic Pro and Stereo VideoMic X, which received a Red Dot Design Award in 2014. RØDE is widely recognised as a leading manufacturer of on-camera microphones.
RØDE found further success in the on-camera microphone market with the release of the Wireless GO compact wireless microphone system in 2019. Building upon technology first introduced to the company’s product catalogue with the RØDELink range of wireless microphones in the mid-2000s, the Wireless GO was viewed by some as a "a game-changer in the [audio technology] industry" due to its compact size and a form-factor that featured a microphone built into the transmitter pack, allowing for completely wireless operation.
Podcasting innovation
RØDE released its first dedicated podcasting product, the Podcaster—a dynamic USB microphone—in 2007 in response to the early boom of podcasting. Several RØDE products are commonly used for podcasting, including the NT-USB and Procaster microphones.
In 2018, RØDE released the RØDECaster Pro, an "integrated podcast production studio". It features several components typically found in professional broadcast studios, including a mixer with microphone inputs and headphone outputs, sound pads, and channels for integrating remote callers.

The Canon EOS 70D is a digital single-lens reflex camera by Canon publicly announced on July 2, 2013 with a suggested retail price of $1,199. As a part of the Canon EOS two-digit line, it is the successor to the EOS 60D and is the predecessor of the EOS 80D.
The EOS 70D is the launch platform for Canon's Dual Pixel CMOS Autofocus, which provides great improvement in focusing speed while in Live View, both for stills and video. At large apertures such as f/1.8, the 70D's Dual Pixel CMOS Autofocus provides a significant improvement in focus accuracy and consistency over conventional autofocus.
The 70D can be purchased as a body alone, or in a package with an EF-S 18–55mm f/3.5–5.6 IS STM lens, EF-S 18–135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM lens, and/or EF-S 18–200mm f/3.5-5.6 IS lens.
Compared to the EOS 60D, the following changes have been made, including:
Resolution increased to 20.2 MP CMOS Sensor (60D has 18.1 MP)
DIGIC 5+ image processor (DIGIC 4 on 60D)
19-point AF System, all cross-type at f/5.6. Center point is high precision, double cross-type at f/2.8 or faster. (9 points, all cross-type on 60D)
98% viewfinder coverage, 0.95× magnification (96% coverage with same magnification for 60D)
Faster continuous shooting at 7.0 fps (5.3 fps on the 60D)
Built-in Wi-Fi (not on the 60D)
3.0″ vari-angle Clear View II LCD touchscreen (no touchscreen on the 60D)
Maximum sensor sensitivity increased to ISO 12800 maximum (H: 25600 expanded) – compare to 6400 (H: 12800 expanded) on the 60D
New Dual Pixel CMOS AF (only standard contrast-detection in live view on 60D)
Allows the use of high precision phase-detection autofocus in live view, functional across 80% of the frame down to 0EV and f/11
Full HD EOS Movies
Digital Zoom in movie mode—offers a full HD crop from the center of the sensor for an approximate 3x zoom with no loss of image quality, plus a digitally interpolated 10x zoom (only previously available on 600D/Rebel T3i)

Digital Zoom in movie mode—offers a full HD crop from the center of the sensor for an approximate 3x zoom with no loss of image quality, plus a digitally interpolated 10x zoom (only previously available on 600D/Rebel T3i)
AF microadjustment (was introduced on the 50D, but not present on the 60D)

Historical/Background information on interviewing from Wikipedia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Interview):
An interview is a structured conversation where one participant asks questions, and the other provides answers. In common parlance, the word "interview" refers to a one-on-one conversation between an interviewer and an interviewee. The interviewer asks questions to which the interviewee responds, usually providing information. That information may be used or provided to other audiences immediately or later. This feature is common to many types of interviews – a job interview or interview with a witness to an event may have no other audience present at the time, but the answers will be later provided to others in the employment or investigative process. An interview may also transfer information in both directions.
Interviews usually take place face-to-face, in person, but the parties may instead be separated geographically, as in videoconferencing or telephone interviews. Interviews almost always involve spoken conversation between two or more parties. In some instances a "conversation" can happen between two persons who type their questions and answers.
Interviews can be unstructured, free-wheeling and open-ended conversations without predetermined plan or prearranged questions. One form of unstructured interview is a focused interview in which the interviewer consciously and consistently guides the conversation so that the interviewee's responses do not stray from the main research topic or idea. Interviews can also be highly structured conversations in which specific questions occur in a specified order. They can follow diverse formats; for example, in a ladder interview, a respondent's answers typically guide subsequent interviews, with the object being to explore a respondent's subconscious motives. Typically the interviewer has some way of recording the information that is gleaned from the interviewee, often by keeping notes with a pencil and paper, or with a video or audio recorder. Interviews usually have a limited duration, with a beginning and an ending.
The traditionally two-person interview format, sometimes called a one-on-one interview, permits direct questions and follow-ups, which enables an interviewer to better gauge the accuracy and relevance of responses. It is a flexible arrangement in the sense that subsequent questions can be tailored to clarify earlier answers. Further, it eliminates possible distortion due to other parties being present.
Face to face interviewing helps both parties to interact and form a connection, and understand the other.[8] Further, face to face interview sessions can be more enjoyable.

BLUE Microphones was founded in 1995 by American session musician Skipper Wise and Latvian recording engineer Mārtiņš Saulespurēns. The company's name is a backronym for Baltic Latvian Universal Electronics. The company started up in Latvia, with the development of the first few prototypes happening there, and now is headquartered in Westlake Village, California, United States.
BLUE Microphones first creation was the “bottle,” a versatile studio XLR microphone encompassing interchangeable capsules curated to isolate sonic signatures for any application which became widely used among professional recording musicians. The concept of this came from Skipper’s daughter Jessica, an aspiring singer at age 12, suggested to Skipper to create a microphone for sending audio recordings through the internet. The sizing and shape of the snowball was similar in size to a softball. (the Snowball is 325 millimetres (12.8 in) in diameter) BLUE Microphones perspective was to collaborate with other aspiring creatives online, synonymous with the needs of the developing consumer world of technology in the 90’s. With a nudge from Apple Inc., the Westlake Village company created a low-cost condenser microphone called the Snowball for use with music recording software, GarageBand. That microphone became popular with aspiring pro musicians and dedicated hobbyists as an alternative to renting time in a recording studio.
The first BLUE microphone was created in 1995 in Riga, Latvia.
From 1995 - 2004 BLUE microphones were manufactured in Latvia, from 2005 the production moved to China, with some microphones being built in the US.
In 2008, Skipper and Martins sold BLUE Microphones to Transom Capital, a private Equity firm from Southern California.
In 2013, The Riverside Company acquired BLUE Microphones from Transom Capital. Intrepid Investment Bankers advised BLUE Microphones in the transaction.
In July 2018, Logitech announced plans to acquire Blue Microphones for $117 million USD

Røde Microphones (/ˈroʊd/; stylised RØDE) is an Australian audio technology company that designs and manufactures microphones and related accessories, audio interfaces and consoles, and audio software. It is recognised as a world-leader in several audio categories across consumer, prosumer and professional markets, specialising in products for music recording, location sound recording, broadcast and podcasting, filmmaking, and content creation.
