In this video we install the Racingline Catch Can for MQB cars. This catch can install will replace the OEM PCV valve and fine oil separator. Fuel injector failure is not super common on this VW TSI engine. However fuel injector replacement may be needed. In this video we will replace a fuel injector on a TSI engine. The Golf R has 10,000 miles now. I was very curious to see how much carbon build up was on the fuel injectors and on the intake valves. Carbon build up is VERY common on Direct Injection Engines GDI/TSI. In this video we will remove the intake manifold, clean and inspect fuel injectors, clean and inspect intake valves and ports. In this video we are installing an intake on a MK5 GTI. As you know installing an intake will make your car a race car, and give it 1000HP is the wheels. Too fast for my taste. Well that is really not true. The main reason for installing this intake is the FSI engine cover is awful, and a very commonly broken part. Getting rid of a car is not easy. Selling a car, scrapping a car, donating a car, giving it away are all tough. Last week I donated my 2005 VW Passat to Second Chances Garage. The MK7.5 Golf R will only charge from the 12v outlets with the key on. You can make a free modification to the Golf R and other MQB Volkswagens and Audis to have the 12v outlet charge ALL THE TIME! From the factory the Golf uses 15 power, or ignition switched on power. With one simple fuse swap, you can have all the 12v outlets in the car use 30 power.
