Suicide, A Real Pandemic
According to the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Global Burden of Disease study estimate that almost 800,000 people die from suicide every year. That’s one person every 40 seconds. This statistic alone should make every person’s eyes open to the real pandemic overtaking our nation, suicide. Suicide has been downplayed more and more in our culture by calling it a beautiful tragedy or saying that the person is finally at peace. We even go as far as to rename suicide and defend that that person is now given the chance to die with dignity. Our culture is shifting further and further to the acceptance of suicide as a cultural norm, but what does God say? Does God have an opinion on suicide? Does the Bible talk about suicide? Is suicide a sin? Join Reverend Kenny Yates as he brings awareness to the heartbreaking subject in his somber message, Suicide, A Real Pandemic.

The Spirit of Prophecy Pt. 2: The Testimony of Jesus
In the Church today, we have an uncomfortable relationship with the Holy Spirit and His gifts. We hold to the belief that the Spirit of God no longer works in the Church today and that all of His gifts were only for a time. One of the verses cited to prove this is Revelation 19:10, which states that the "... testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy." This now begs the question, what does this mean? Look, The Fields Are White Unto Harvest
In John 4:35–38, Jesus said to look, the fields are white unto harvest, but what does that mean? Who are the laborers? Are the fields being white a good thing? How do we reap the white harvest? Sleeping with the Enemy Pt. 2: Samson
The enemy doesn’t come as an evil man dressed in all black; the enemy comes as our deepest desires. Territorial Spirits Pt. 2: Getting Prayers Answered
Throughout Scripture, there are stories of spiritual warfare and how answered prayers can be held up by these spirits. Paul even writes that our battle isn’t against flesh and blood but against spiritual beings around us and in the heavenly places. So, if our battle is against the spirit realm, how do we fight the spirit realm if we are in the physical? How can we get our prayers answered? Sleeping with the Enemy Pt. 1: Jehoshaphat
We live in a society that is ever-evolving and changing. The lies of the world are so deceiving that they even lead the elect astray. They convince you that the sins aren’t so bad. What if they’re right? What if you don’t sin but don’t stop or warn others from sinning because it’s their own life? Is it okay? Do you have to separate yourself from all sin, or is it okay to be friends with the world? Does that make you an enemy of God? False Teachings Pt. 2: Beware of the Fruit
Today in the Church, there are several denominations, each claiming that they are right. Is there a way to make sure that what your pastor or denomination is teaching you is actually Biblical and True? The Armor of God Pt. 2: The Sword of the Spirit
The Armor of God is one of the first things we learn about as believers. Your average Christian knows each piece of armor, from the Breastplate of Righteousness to the Sword of the Spirit. The only problem is that many don’t know what these pieces of armor really are, nor do they know how to use them. In fact, many who preach against things such as the Gifts of the Holy Spirit inadvertently also preach against the Sword of the Spirit without ever realizing it. If this is true, then that begs the question, What Exactly is the Sword of the Spirit? And more importantly, how do you use the Sword of the Spirit? False Teachings Pt. 1: The Dangers of Universalism
In the Church today, there is a lot of division on different theologies. Many people, in fact, believe that these different divisions are not right. They believe that the body of Christ should be united as one body instead of separate bodies. Now, while this is a true statement, the body of Christ should be united as one body in Christ Jesus, at the same time, we, as the body of Christ, cannot accept teachings into the body of Christ that are contrary to that of the teachings of Christ. This then begs the question, what theological doctrine is considered to be too contrary for the body of Christ to accept? And what exactly are the dangers of accepting these teachings that some claim to be false doctrine? Isn’t everyone’s walk with Christ Jesus unique? So, shouldn’t each person’s perspective of the Bible be unique? Is there room for more than one interpretation of Scripture? Playing With Sin
From the very beginning, the Devil has been tempting humanity with the same ways he still tempts us with today. He entices us with the lie that sin won’t lead to death. That sin isn’t a big deal. The Devil evil twists Scripture in order to get us to fall prey to his schemes. Many believe that as long as our sin isn’t too great, then we can still make it into Heaven. Think Carefully Before You Act
Today, so many in the Church don't like to think about the future, especially eternity. We focus on what's affecting us at this moment without fully weighing the consequences of our actions. We hold to the idea that as long as we want it in our hearts, it's good, and the desire is from God. But is this true? Can you listen to your heart? Dads Represent
Over the last few decades, fathers have become more and more absent from their children’s lives. Many children today don’t have a father figure in their life anymore. In fact, many don’t even have a male presence in their life to help guide them. There’s a rise in gang violence, children and young adults getting arrested, fights, and shootings in schools. Could this be connected to the rise in father absence in our homes today? According to our ever-changing culture, fathers aren’t important to the family, but is this true? Are fathers replaceable? What Manner of Man is This Pt. 2: Jesus Is God

Is Jesus Really The Only Way?
It’s a common belief that Jesus is the only way to Eternal Life, but is that truly what the Scripture says? Isn’t believing in God enough to get us salvation? Why do we have to go through Jesus? Where's The Power?
The Feast of Shavuot was celebrated from the time of Moses. When the Day of Pentecost (Shavuot) had come in its entirety, the followers of Christ were together in one accord in the Upper Room. When they were in the Upper Room, the Holy Spirit came and filled all in the Upper Room with the Holy Spirit and His power. 2,000 years later, what happened to the power of the Holy Spirit that came down and filled those in the Upper Room? Can Christians Sin?
Many Christians believe and teach that all you have to do is repent, and life will be easier because once you are saved, you are always saved. In fact, some go as far as to believe that Christians no longer can even sin because they have been sealed by the Holy Spirit. Could this be why we Christians are held to a higher standard than the world? We’re supposed to be Christ to the world, so are we perfect as Jesus is perfect? So then are they right, and Christians are saved from sinning because Jesus said, ‘whom the Son sets free is free indeed’? Or is there something more to it?
