Wall-hanging Hand tool Cabinet with Double Doors.
Making a nice looking tool cabinet tool chest for my babies (hand tools), cause hand tools deserve better than just something thrown together!
I went full send with this cabinet, I don’t like the stuffy looking cabinets so I added my own little touches along the way with some dovetails/lap and through cut by hand.

Sculpted Wooden Bottle Opener.
This wooden bottle opener with magnet will be an elegant addition to anyone’s home and no two are the same, made from carefully chosen woods, hand sculpted/shaped by myself.
Made from Tiger Oak, Rippled maple, Walnut, Wenge and Oak.
In addition to the elegant look, this wooden bottle opener prevents the bottle caps from being wrinkled upon removal. A inset rare earth magnet holds the cap until you remove it.
They come with their own individual bag made from Kantha silk.

Wooden foot stool build inspired by Sori Yanagi’s Butterfly Stool. Made from oak and wenge.
Made from solid oak, no bent lamination, nor bendy ply. Solid oak to sculpted to shape!
With Wenge dowels.
There’s a little tip in the vid too, how to make your own straight dowels.

Modern Writing Desk build.
This writing desk is made from ash and ash veneered baltic birch ply.
This is the end result of a designers idea coming to fruition. The design means it needs to be flat packaged for shipping.
I don't know about you but I miss the tusked mortise and tenon?

Mirka Deros VS Festool ETS Sanders Comparison.
A quick vid of the design flaws of said sanders that for me make the decision easy to decide which sander to buy.
I borrowed the Mirka from my brother for about a month as my Festool sander wasn't working, having been well versed on my festool sanders I was hoping for something better as I've heard so much about it and was clucking to try the Mirka.. Well here is my thoughts...

Rebuilding My Old Table Saw (FULL EDIT) Wadkin AGS 10"
I fully restored this old saw to better than new. I made DIY under dust extraction and over dust extraction, with some extra improvements to aid flow and bring the saw into the 21st century.
I also upgraded the motor to 2.2 kW (3 HP) That's not without its problems.
Every nut and bolt was worked on, with a proper paint job!

Restoring a rare antique mallet (Brass English infill joiner's Mallet)
Antique Brass English Infill Joiner's Mallet, the best mallet I've ever used!
Compact, weighs near the weight of a traditional oak mallet but quarter of the size.
You have four sides to hit with, the brass side is good for hand carving, the infill sides for paring.
Because of its size and now has a better handle the blows are perfectly controlled, I left a square neck cause I like that, I don't have to look at it when I need to pick it up again and have my hand exactly where I want it.

Woodworking Workbench & pop-up bench dogs made from 2x4’s & oak.
Woodworking workbench / Joinery bench (Roubo/English Nicholson style) with pop-up bench dogs built with / 2x4’s and oak, plus storage.
My old assemble table was getting on and unstable so I knocked this up - I didn’t go with a fancy leg vice, my carpenters vice has served me well enough for many years and can’t see the point in them. The majority of the bench is made from 2x4’s with some oak in one area cause hardwood is better for chisel work etc.
With a limited budget I used what ever I could find lying about.

Making myself a kitchen Island with end grain butcher block
Here's the build vid of how I made a rustic standing butcher block island, with 4 two way drawers for access either side for storage.
Made from pine and aged with fire and with chalk paint just to give it some texture, with wenge dowels just for that extra look and an end grain butcher block top.
Finished in Osmo polyX satin for the base.
A very nice friend of mine gave me this used butcher block, pretty much an antique estimated 80 plus years old.
Was a fun to build took about 7+ weeks - so heres 1TB worth of film/edit in 30 mins.

Wooden Waney Edge Oak Bench Dining bench Build.
Waney edge bench build, using a slab of oak very far from flat and I wanted to keep it that way, but this leaves for joinery issues cause theres no straight 90 edges to work from to get the legs straight - heres how I do this using the Sam Maloof joint.
Makes for a nice conversation piece with bundles of character.
I also used oak for the legs, some ropey oak right at the pith of the log which made for some lovely splits which I used epoxy (glass cast 50) to fill with antique bronze metallic flake for some more pop and not to waste any wood that'll normally end up in the scrap bin.
For finish I used Osmo ployX satin.

Rare Burl Turned into One Of A Kind Table
I turn this beautiful Elm burl and sculpt some figured oak to marry the burl and oak together into a desk/table top, and then throw in some epoxy resin.
You’ll learn from my mistakes, and boy did I make a load! I normally only use resin for filling knots in my furniture.

Toothed Bench Dog And Doe's foot for hand tool woodworking.
Here I make a toothed bench dog from scrap wood and a jigsaw blade - I also chucked in some various ways of clamping including a Doe's foot.
Before the widespread use of the tail vise and bench dog, simple toothed planing stops were a main feature of workbenches dating back centuries. Extant benches from continental Europe always feature a planing stop to resist forces when working the faces of boards. These stops were often made from forged metal, but in many cases they were shop made from thin sheets of steel or with the most rudimentary method of driving nails through a stick of wood and nipping off the ends.

Mini Workbench build.
I needed a tabletop workbench for more comfort for fine woodworking detail work as its a great way to bring smaller work closer to your eyes, and to up my saw game. Was also important I have a moxon vice again, I gave my old one to my brother and I've always missed it!
Made from oak, it includes almost all the features I need in one tool, surface planing against planing stops or between bench dogs, straight edge planing, which can be used for both Western and Japanese planes, and a vise. The front jaw has two sides to it, one side with dog holes and the other with a 45 degree chamfer for dovetail work.
It can be either clamped to an existing table or bench, or can work well with friction pads, when not too much force is needed.

How to make a round tenons on the router table.
asy round tenons with this simple router table jig, great for cutting shoulder tenons on square leg stock. Easy and cheap with pretty good results.
All you need is some MDF 12mm/18mm, hole saw and a router table oh and glue, brad gun optional and grove cutter too.
I made this jig so I had options of different size stock with the changeable - I don't have a lathe, nor can afford one.
Need a tool, make a tool!
