9. Nehemia Gordon's "10 Rabbis", Cabbalism and the Origin of the Vowel Points (Part A)
Nehemia Gordon urges that one should consider 'kosher' Jewish sources rather than pagan sources regarding evidence for the pronunciation of the Creator's Name. He has convinced many of the pronunciation 'Yehovah' by claiming that 16 Jewish Rabbis documented the original Name of the Creator to be 'Yehovah'.
Why do these Rabbis agree on 'Yehovah'? Are these rabbinical writings which Nehemia quotes really 'kosher' Jewish sources?
In Video 9, Justin Van Rensburg shows exactly why these Rabbis professed that 'Yehovah' is a sacred name.

8. Is Nehemia Gordon a Trustworthy, Honest Hebrew Scholar?
Many people claim that Nehemia Gordon is a reliable, honest Hebrew scholar and that we should therefore learn from him without any hesitation.
InVideo 8, Justin Van Rensburg shows just how honest and reliable Nehemia Gordon really is - by checking his claims regarding the supposed rhyme of the words 'Yahavah,' 'Ahavah,' and 'Yehovah' in John Chapter 17 of the Franz Delitzsch Hebrew translation.
We trust that this information will help you in your pursuit of the truth. We also hope to highlight the necessity for every believer to acquire a working knowledge of Biblical Hebrew, rather than taking for granted the claims of any so-called honest scholar.
7. Eight proofs from the Masoretic Text that Adonai's vowels were placed on YHWH (Part B).
Nehemia Gordon claims that in the “B 52 Bomber” manuscript, “…This [raphe] proves definitively that these are the vowels of the name of the Creator..!!"
Does this 'raphe' really prove that the Name is 'Yehovah'?
InVideo 7, Justin Van Rensburg presents five more evidences from the Masoretic text which clearly show that Adonai's vowels were placed on the Name.
Although many have heard of e.g. the 'Lamed preposition' argument discussed in Video 6, most of these evidences presented in Video 7 are unknown to the general public.
6. Eight proofs from the Masoretic Text that Adonai's vowels were placed on YHWH (Part A).
Nehemia Gordon claims that in the “B-52 Bomber” manuscript, “…the very prepositions… prove definitively” that the Name is 'Yehovah'!!
All Hebrew scholars know that the vowel pointing of prepositions gives definitive evidence with regards to the vowels that were placed on the Name YHWH.
The only question is, “What do the prepositions prove definitively?” Do they show that the Name is 'Yehovah' or do they rather prove that the vowels of Adonai were placed on the Name?
InVideo 6, Justin Van Rensburg shows that the prepositions prove definitively that the vowels on the Name are those of Adonai – not only in the most accurate Hebrew manuscripts, but even in the “B 52 Bomber”!!
5. Why is the Cholem often missing on the name YHWH?
Nehemia Gordon claims that the scribes removed the 'Cholem' vowel from the name יהוה in order to hide the 'secret,' 'true' pronunciation 'Yehovah'.
In the previous 2 presentations, it was shown that all evidence thus far points to the fact that the vowels of Adonai were placed on the name. Yet, the question still remains - why would the scribes leave out the Cholem?
This question can be answered by evidence from the best Hebrew manuscripts of the Masoretic Text. In video 5, Justin Van Rensburg shows why this 'Cholem' is often missing from the Name יהוה.
4. Would Scribes change a Composite Shewa into a Simple Shewa for Ketiv-Qere Perpetuum?
Nehemia Gordon says: "Don't believe the nonsensical claim that the vowels of Yehovah ( יְהוָֹה ) are the same as the vowels of Adonai ( אֲדֹנָי ) !"
He says this because the first vowel of Adonai (a composite Shewa) is not identical to the first vowel on the Name (a simple Shewa). He asserts: "So, the argument that they had to put in different vowels, as if this is a “Kri-ketiv” or a “Kri-perpetuum,” that's utter nonsense. That's complete nonsense..."
In Video 4, Justin Van Rensburg investigates this "utter nonsense." He presents undeniable evidence from the best Hebrew manuscripts that clearly prove that the scribes of the Masoretic text did change a composite Shewa to a simple Shewa when they put the dummy vowels of Adonai on the Name יהוה.
3. Was Ketiv-Qere applied to YHWH or not?
Nehemia Gordon claims that the vowels on the name יהוה are NOT the vowels of Adonai but the true, original vowels of the Name יהוה. Is this true?
In video 3, Justin Van Rensburg explains what 'Ketiv Qere' is, how it originated, and why the scribes placed dummy vowels on certain words.
He shows that the Name יהוה was indeed pointed with Adonai's vowels, and explains that the vowels 'Shewa, Cholem, Qamets' are actually the grammatically correct vowels for the reading 'Adonai.'
2. Did Nehemia Gordon discover the 'real' name of God?
Nehemia Gordon claims to have discovered the 'true' and 'original' Hebrew Name of the Creator, namely 'Yehovah.' He claims that this pronunciation was previously a secret for more than 1000 years!
The story goes that Nehemia Gordon 'discovered' the 'missing Cholem' vowel on 9/11 2001, and that this 'discovery' revealed the true pronunciation of the Name יהוה after more than a thousand years of it being a secret.
But was this really a discovery? Was the pronunciation Yehovah really a secret for more than 1000 years? Is this new information that we should act on, and change?

1. Nehemia Gordon: Is Yehovah an abbreviation of Hayah, Howeh, Yihyeh?
Many scholars have pointed out that the pronunciation 'Yehovah' for the Creator's Hebrew Name יהוהis grammatically impossible in Hebrew.
Nehemia Gordon offers a very attractive 'explanation.' He claims that the Name יהוה is a combination of three Hebrew words: 'Hayah,' 'Hoveh' and 'Yihyeh.' When combined these three verbs supposedly make 'Yehovah.'
So, if Nehemia's claims about the etymology of 'Yehovah' is correct, it would make 'Yehovah' a grammatically possible Name. However, if Nehemia's claims are untrue, it would simply reconfirm that the pronunciation 'Yehovah' is incorrect.
