Home Schooling Surge In Canada with Patty Marler and Simon Noster
Families choosing homeschooling as their preferred educational option is surging.
According to Statistics Canada, nationwide homeschooling doubled to under 84,000 children in 2021. Public school enrolment has also decreased in all provinces except Quebec.
Provincial governments have been increasingly supportive in facilitating this option for families, with British Columbia, Alberta and Saskatchewan offering funding for homeschooled families. Interest across the board is rising as more families realize the benefits of this educational option.
Here to discuss the homeschooling world, the benefits, and resources for Canadians are Patty Marler and Simon Noster.
Patty represents the Homeschool Legal Defence Association, a non-profit devoted to protecting, empowering, and advancing home-school education in Canada.
Simon Noster serves as the principal of Wisdom Homeschooling and is a personal case study for the success of this educational option.

Natural Health Products and Government Opposition with Shawn Buckley and David Stephan
On June 22, 2023, the Parliament of Canada passed C-47. This law imposes new fees and stricter natural health product market restrictions. The Natural Health Products Protection Association (NHPPA) argues that this will drive many of the smaller and medium-sized producers and retailers (like your local health supplement store) out of business.
Their products will be gone.
The prices will increase for the products that survive. This is because the producers will have to pass on their increased costs to the consumer.
At a time when healthcare across our nation is under strain, most Canadians would agree that we need to be going towards having MORE access to health and wellness products, not less.
Features on this show to discuss is Shawn Buckley, a constitutional lawyer who at one point represented Health Canada but has since become one of the leading litigators against them. He is also a national voice raising awareness on the issue.
Joining him is David Stephan, son of Tony Stephan, a Canadian health products pioneer. David is also a Canadian food supplement company executive who has direct experience with this issue.
Thanks for joining us. Please share.

Vaccine Mandate Act with MP Dean Allison
For most Canadians, COVID-19 is in the rearview mirror, but not for the Parliament of Canada. As a matter of fact, legislation is just now starting to catch up.
In response to the concerns of his constituents, one Member of Parliament is putting forth legislation to help protect the employment and travel of Canadians should we ever face a scenario like COVID-19 again.
According to the Government of Canada’s website, over 98 million vaccine doses have been administrated as of this past spring, with over 55,000 adverse reactions to it.
Some federal employees lost their jobs because they felt uncomfortable taking the vaccine for various reasons.
Others were separated from their friends and loved ones because of the travel mandates, or limited in their ability to travel for work.
This is precisely what MP Dean Allison addresses with his new private member’s bill, C-278. The short title is the Vaccine Mandate Act, and its goal is to prevent the imposition by the federal government of vaccine mandates for employment and travel.
In this program, we show a clip of Mr. Allison’s speech in Parliament about it, and then he joins us to discuss the bill further.
Thanks for joining us. Please share.

Homelessness Solutions with Marcel LeBrun and Peter Durasaimi // SUMMER REAIR
With the rise of interest rates, inflation, housing and rental prices, home insecurity has become a growing issue in our nation.
Here are some eye opening stats:
- 235,000 Canadians are homeless today.
- Over 30% of homeless Canadians are First Nations
- Most Canadians using shelters are between the age of 25-49 and 62% of those are male.
- Toronto has the highest number of homeless Canadians, an estimated 10,000.
- 3,000 children in Canada are homeless.
Governments have put a lot of focus into trying to solve this problem, with over 400 emergency shelters across Canada today. In spite of this, Toronto has released new data that 40 people are turned away from shelters every night due to a lack of beds.
Our two guests on this program are here to shed some light on this issue and what their organizations are doing about it.
Marcel LeBrun of 12 Neighbours Incorporated, and his team have built a village of tiny homes in their area to help tackle the issue.
Peter Duraisami is the CEO of the Scott Mission in downtown Toronto, and is one of Canada’s leading charities in helping the urban poor.
Thanks for joining us. Please share.

Digital ID In Canada with Dr. Leslyn Lewis and Luke Neilson
Digital ID…
What is it?
Is Canada planning on implementing it?
Have other nations?
How is it going for the citizens in those nations?
Is it necessary in our day?
Is it an infringement on privacy?
These are all really great questions that we dive into on this show.
The reality is that billions of people worldwide already use it in some form. China is generally viewed as the most sophisticated nation when it comes to digital ID integration into society. However, nations from Finland to Israel to Canada are all considering it.
Used well, a digital ID can be convenient and even helpful in gathering statistics that give governments useful information in making better policy decisions. However, it also allows the government a level of immediate access to personal information that many feel uncomfortable with.
To help us understand more, we are featuring a briefing by Dr. Leslyn Lewis, Member of Parliament from Haldimand-Norfolk. After Dr. Lewis’ segment, Luke Neilson, Education Programs Coordinator from the Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms sheds light on how digital ID could affect our Charter rights as Canadians.
Thanks for joining us.

58th National Prayer Breakfast Recap
Happy Canada Day!
Did you know that every single year in Ottawa, elected officials from various federal parties gather together and pray? It’s called the National Prayer Breakfast (NPB). The purpose of the NPB is to unite leaders in our nation’s capital in order to pray together, build relationally, and walk together in the spirit of Jesus Christ.
The event is an extension of a weekly prayer gathering at Parliament, with MPs and senators from various parties participating regularly.
Canada was the first nation in the world to establish a National Prayer Breakfast, with Prime Minister Lester B. Pearson addressing it in its inaugural year in 1964.
This year’s National Prayer Breakfast theme was “A Firm Foundation,” and the lead organizers were MP Richard Bragdon (NB) and MP Damien Kurek (AB).
The event sold out a full month in advance, with 770 Canadians participating (possibly making it the highest-attended NPB in our history).
I had the joy of being there in person with some of our friends and ministry partners.
I’m very excited to share recorded highlights of the event with you today.
All footage is shown with permission from the organizers of the event.

State Of The Nation with Franco Terrazzano and Doug Sharpe
What a difference a decade can make.
Since 2013, Canada’s federal debt has more than doubled. It is currently more than $1.2 trillion. The average Canadian’s personal share of public debt is just over $50,000 (including federal and provincial portions). Interest on the debt is now one of Canada’s biggest national expenses.
Who pays for this? Plainly put, every single one of us through taxation and through the reduction of public services.
In spite of this, the current federal government of Canada continues to rack up aggressive fiscal deficits. This year it is expected to reach $40 billion, almost $10 billion higher than forecasted.
Here with us today to discuss are two familiar guests, Franco Terrazzano of the Canadian Taxpayers Federation and Doug Sharpe of the National Leadership Briefing and Canada Family Action. We’ll be talking about our economic situation and other national matters such as the Alberta election results and general citizen action opportunities on the immediate horizon for all of us.
Thanks for joining us.

Stadium Events In Canada With Tyrelle Smith, Solomon Davis, and Art Lucier
There is something to the power of gatherings. All throughout human history they have been used to mark lives, impart ideology and even help set the course of a generation.
Examples include Woodstock the 1969 gathering which drew 400,000 and became a defining event for a generation, the Promise Keepers' Gatherings of the late nineties whose attendance reached an estimated eight hundred thousand and impacted families worldwide, the Billy Graham events of the forties, fifties and beyond, which saw countless thousands give their lives to Christ — and we could go on.
There is something electric and transformational that can happen in these types of events. This is why this particular show is so exciting!
Here with us are three Canadians, representing different organizations, who all have a vision for mass gatherings for the purpose of outreach, prayer, reconciliation, and spiritual renewal in our nation.
Tyrelle Smith hosted the Come Together event in Saskatoon, SK, attracting thousands the first week of June and seeing (saw) hundreds come to Christ.
Solomon Davis is planning the God Heal Our Land event scheduled for July 1st in Hamilton Ontario at the Tigercats Stadium where the Tiger Cats play.
Art Lucier from the Battle For Canada will also be sharing about their upcoming event, Prepare The Way, in Quebec City.
These conversations are both inspiring and eye-opening.

Roe Canada The Film with Kevin Dunn and Josie Luetke
Canada remains one of the only Western nations that allow legal abortions right up to birth for no medical reason and at taxpayer expense.
In the late ‘80s, the law that existed at the time was struck down by the Supreme Court. The Court tasked Parliament to bring forward a new law to fill the void left. As of today, no law has successfully been made.
In the absence of a law, nothing is criminal — even the formation of a fully formed child who is able to survive outside its mother’s body.
Some say the debate is over, while others say it really never resolved. In the meantime, many Canadians are actively engaged in the pro-life movement in one way or another.
This topic has come back to the forefront repeatedly, and recently most notably through the overturning of Roe vs Wade in the US, which sent shockwaves throughout the world — Canada included.
A small group of filmmakers seeking to capture the story and the impact it is having on Canada, have produced a documentary for Canadian audiences. It is called Roe Canada.
Producers Kevin Dunn of Dunn Media, and Josie Luetke are here with us today to share the progress of the project, the reaction and what they hope to accomplish through it.
Thanks for joining us.

Israel And The World with Rick Ridings
Israel has often been at the centre of world events, both spiritually and naturally. Recent days have only accentuated this once again.
Over the past weeks, Israel has faced much civil unrest over the proposed judicial reforms. They also experienced a fresh onslaught of rocket attacks along their border, and the nuclear threat from Iran has increased.
In the midst of this timeline, believers from across the world have been in a 21-day fast called the Isaiah 62 Fast. It was initiated by Mike Bickle of the International House of Prayer, and millions participated.
Rick Ridings joins me to share his insights right from the heart of Jerusalem.
Rick is the founder of Succat Hallel, a 24/7 prayer room made up of Jewish, Arab, and other Gentile believers who pray day and night overlooking the Temple Mount. He is recognized internationally for his leadership in prayer and is also one of those helping facilitate reconciliation between Arabs and Jews — especially in the younger generation in Israel.
Thanks for joining us.

Human Trafficking In Canada with Cathy Peters
Human Trafficking is one of the most horrific injustices being propagated in the earth today, with an estimated 35 million victims of trafficking every single day.
The large majority of trafficking incidents were reported in metropolitan areas, with an estimated 90% of victims knowing their abuser.
According to the province of Ontario’s data, the average age of recruitment is 13, and over 70% are under the age of 25.
This issue affects thousands of Canadians and their loved ones.
Cathy Peters is one of those who were affected, and has stepped up to the plate to be a voice on the issue. She is now one of the nation’s most passionate and effective anti-trafficking advocates, giving hundreds of presentations on this topic, and presenting to every tier of government to raise awareness and save lives.
Thanks for joining us.

Protecting Pregnant Women & Supporting Adoptive Families with MPs Cathay Wagantall & Rosemarie Falk
Strong families make for strong communities and society. When mothers and fathers are supported in their roles and protected, it has a trickle down impact on the children they care for.
This is why the conversation today is so important. According to a general social survey on victimization, 11% of women self-reported being victimized by a spouse while they were pregnant. 40% of domestic abuse incidents begin during a woman’s first pregnancy, and there are many known recent murder cases in Canada where women were targeted because they were pregnant.
Another vulnerable group is children who need adoptive families to become their forever home. Out of the 60,000 children in foster care, 30,000 are eligible for permanent adoption. However, only 2,000 are actually adopted each year.
There are so many more children needing a loving home, and supporting families that want to provide that care in many cases could be the game changer.
Two strong women in the House of Commons that are stepping up to target these needs are here with us today. MP Cathay Wagantall put forward a bill federally to protect pregnant women from violence, and MP Rosemarie Falk just tabled a bill to give more supports to adoptive parents.
Thanks for joining us. Please share.

Canada and Global Health Agreements with James Roguski
National sovereignty and personal medical autonomy have been a growing concern to many Canadians, particularly when it comes to the influence of international bodies such as the World Health Organization (WHO).
Most remember the tremendous amount of influence the WHO had on democracies worldwide during the Covid-19 pandemic through the information and recommendations that they gave.
In addition to the WHO, there is an international legal instrument called the International Health Regulations. It was established in the 1930s to help guide how independent nations will deal with the prevention and transmission of infectious diseases.
Recently the document was amended, and further amendments are planned for late May of 2023. Some of these amendments expand the scope of what might be classified as an international health crisis and expand control over independent nations.
Here with us to shed light on the topic is James Roguski. James is an author and prolific researcher who has been highlighting the development of international health agreements and their potential impact on us all.
Thanks for joining us. Please share.

Homelessness Solutions with Marcel LeBrun and Peter Durasaimi

Isaiah 62 Fast for Israel with Mike Bickle
The nation of Israel is once again finding itself in defining days.
In March, Israel’s president warned of civil war as Netanyahu rejected a compromise on some major judicial reforms the government has been working to implement. There is a clear divide across the nation, and thousands on both sides of the issue have launched protests.
At the same time, Iran is expected to have nuclear arms by this spring — possibly forcing Israel to make a pre-emptive strike.
Without knowing any of this in advance, Mike Bickle, founder of the International House of Prayer in Kansas City, and his leadership team launched a 21-day fast for Israel. They are calling it the Isaiah 62 Fast, and it will take place from May 7th - 28th, 2023. Their goal was to mobilize a minimum of 1 million intercessors through the fast. As of the filming of this show, a million have already signed up.
Mike joins us to discuss the situation in Israel, their initiative, the incredible momentum it is gaining globally and how you can participate.
Thanks for joining us. Please share.

National Prayer Breakfast and Bill C-228 with MP Richard Bragdon
Happy Resurrection Day!
Did you know that every year in our nation’s capital, elected officials from various federal parties gather together and pray?
It’s called the National Prayer Breakfast, and its purpose is to unite our nation’s leaders to pray together, build relationships, and seek to walk together in the spirit of Jesus Christ.
At the heart of the event is a small group of parliamentarians from different political parties who meet for breakfast each Wednesday morning while Parliament is in session.
The man at the helm of all this is MP Richard Bragdon, a former pastor and one of the few Members of Parliament in the Official Opposition who has successfully passed a bill (C-228).
Bill C-228 received all-party support to create a national framework to help prevent criminals from re-offending.
Mr. Bragdon joins us today to share about the upcoming breakfast and his work on the bill since it was passed.
Thanks for joining us. Please share.

Free Speech In Schools with Josh Alexander, James Kitchen, and Lia Milousis
What happens when one person's interpretation of freedom of speech, conscience, or religion clashes with another person's perception of hate speech?
The answer to this question becomes even more complicated when it involves institutions such as schools, which have the power to disrupt the education of students who express “unacceptable” social views.
The highest profile recent example is that of high school student Josh Alexander. Josh spoke up on behalf of a female student concerned about biological boys using girls’ bathrooms. When he did, he was suspended on the grounds that he was making some students feel unsafe by his views. The situation culminated in Josh’s arrest on school property.
Josh's experience with cancel culture is not isolated. Recently, school trustees shut down a parent for voicing concerns about biological boys in the same bathroom as his daughter. The entire event was caught on video by another attendee.
So, how can society allow challenging conversations to take place in a way that doesn't shut down those who raise concerns that might be unpopular to those in authority?
Josh Alexander is with us today to discuss his situation and insights for parents and students. Also joining the conversation are the Liberty Coalition Canada chief litigator, James Kitchen, and lawyer Lia Milousis. Lia experienced pushback from teachers as a young person when she wrote a speech on the issue of abortion.
Thanks for joining us. Please share.

The Battle for Alberta and The Battle for Canada with Roy Beyer and Doug Sharpe
The soon-coming provincial election in Alberta could be one of the most important ones for the future of Canada - economically and ideologically.
Let me break it down for you.
Albertans will go to the polls on May 29th to decide whether to re-elect the UCP (United Conservative Party) with Premier Danielle Smith or return to the NDP under Rachel Notley. Spring polling shows the two parties neck-in-neck.
This provincial election is a battle of ideologies, and which ideology wins out will dramatically impact Canada's economic and freedom issues.
Alberta is one of Canada’s economic engines, largely driven by its natural resource sector (one of the most environmentally friendly in the world). Since the mid-1960s, Alberta has given the rest of Canada over $630 billion in equalization payments. Translation: Alberta’s fiscal strength has helped the less privileged nationwide for decades.
In spite of this, the federal government is pushing Alberta to risk the province’s economic future through their war on the natural resource sector. It's unclear what may happen if a provincial government is elected that is unable or unwilling to push back on these policies.
Alberta has also remained one of the strongest ideological opponents to the federal government on freedom and personal autonomy issues — resisting digital ID mandates and harshly criticizing Ottawa’s pandemic management.
Healthy democracies require strong checks and balances like these to ensure that the best ideas come forward.
So, what would happen to Canada if Alberta ceased to be the strong check and balance that it is serving at the moment? Given that Notley’s provincial NDP is an extension of the federal NDP (who have formed an official alliance with Justin Trudeau’s Liberals), there is a risk of this happening.
Here with us to unpack the implications is Roy Beyer, a long-standing Alberta-based political strategist & director of Taking Back Our Freedoms. Also with us is Doug Sharpe of the National Leadership Briefing.
In this interview, we discuss the battle for Alberta and other opportunities in 2023 for Canadians to make an impact on our nation.
Thanks for joining us. Please share.

Journey To Africville with Crystal Lavallee and Veshone Cunningham
Africville, a little community in Nova Scotia, comprised mostly Black Nova Scotians and existed from the early 1800s to the mid-1960s. It has become an important symbol of black Canadian identity and the struggles against racism, as many of its first settlers were former slaves fleeing oppression in the US.
Some may feel that racism in Canada is a thing of the past but consider these stats:
According to Statistics Canada, 58% of black people aged 15 and older reported experiencing race-based discrimination in the five years prior to Covid, and in 2021, just under one-third of black Canadians, representing over 400,000 Canadians, lived in unsuitable housing, compared to less than 10% of the entire Canadian population.
Stats like these and stories like Africville make today’s conversation so compelling.
During Black History Month this past February, the educational charity I Am Compelled created a documentary to share Africville's story with young Canadians, with over 16,000 students having viewed the program as of the filming of this interview.
Here with us are Veshone Cunningham and Crystal Lavallee of I Am Compelled to discuss how the documentary is creating conversation and the constructive change they hope it will bring.
Thanks for joining us.

Foreign Interference and Canada’s Elections with The Hon. Stockwell Day
Is China influencing Canada’s election outcomes?
Global news reported that Canadian intelligence officials delivered a series of sensitive briefings to the Prime Minister and select cabinet members with evidence that China ran a sophisticated operation to influence the 2019 vote.
They also reported the Prime Minister was counselled to revoke the nomination of one of his candidates, MP Han Dong, whom they suspected was being supported by the People’s Republic of China’s foreign interference network.
In response, Prime Minister Trudeau pushed back, saying CSIS has no power to tell a political party who to run as a candidate and who not to.
As a result, many officials are calling for a public inquiry on the issue, including NDP leader Jagmeet Singh and former CSIS Director Richard Fadden.
The Hon. Stockwell Day joins us to give insight into what’s happening and why it matters so profoundly. While in office, Mr. Day served as the Federal Minister of Public Safety and worked closely with CSIS.
Thanks for joining us.

Asbury University Revival with Lee Grady, Toyin Crandell and Barry Maracle
At Asbury University on February 8th, 2023, a regularly scheduled chapel service sparked revival when students lingered in Hughes Auditorium, repenting, singing hymns, and reading Bible scriptures.
Word quickly spread, and in a short time, the auditorium was filled. After twelve days of continual worship services, an estimated 50,000 people had come through the town (just over 6,000 in population) to attend the meetings. The revival is reminiscent of one which took place there in the 70s.
Eventually, university officials decided to limit the meetings to students under the age of 25 and to move all outpouring-related services off-campus. However, the revival fire is spreading to other campuses, with over two dozen being impacted as of the filming of this show. Churches in Canada are also reporting a tangible increase in the presence of God in their services.
Here with us to discuss what's been happening is Lee Grady, former editor of Charisma Magazine and author. Joining him are debt freedom coach Toyin Crandell, and Mohawk minister Barry Maracle, who both personally visited the Asubury Revival in the first weeks.
Thanks for joining us.

Late-Term Abortion In Canada with Dr. Will Johnston, Dr. Laura Lewis, and Mike Schouten
In 1988, the law on abortion was struck down by the Supreme Court of Canada. The Supreme Court tasked Parliament with bringing forward a new law to fill the gap made by the strike down. No Parliament, led by Conservatives nor by Liberals, has successfully brought forward a law yet.
In the absence of a law, anything goes. This means that abortion is currently legal in Canada right up until birth.
Most Canadians do not know this.
This is why so many Canadians were shocked to learn that a 38-week-old child was aborted in a Montreal hospital on February 2nd.
I personally felt compelled to record a video about the situation and launch a petition. That video has been viewed over 60,000 times, and almost 6500 Canadians have signed the petition.
Visit https://www.4mycanada.com to watch that video and sign the petition.
Here with us to talk about the 38-week abortion and important considerations surrounding the situation are Dr. Will Johnston and Dr. Laura Lewis. Both of them have had successful medical practices and have often spoken on the issue. Joining them is Mike Schouten from We Need A Law, a national nonprofit committed to raising awareness on the life issue in Canada and providing advocacy tools.
Thanks for joining us.
