Let’s talk about one of the biggest causes of digestive issues: stress.
It's important to remember that what’s going on in your gut affects your brain, and what’s going on in your brain affects your gut. Healthy digestion occurs when you’re in a low-stress state.
How stress affects digestion:
• It causes the development of biofilms allowing harmful bacteria to survive
• It erodes the mucosa layer, which can lead to ulcers
• It decreases transit time (causes constipation)
• It can lead to leaky gut
• It alters your microbiome and decreases the diversity and number of your microbes, which can lead to inflammation and other health concerns
Stressors that affect the digestive system:
• Emotional stress
• Antibiotics and things that act like an antibiotic (chlorine, artificial sweeteners, glyphosate, and sterilized food)
• Intravenous feeding
• ICU care
The best ways to get rid of digestive problems related to stress:
1. Reduce your stress
2. Take L-glutamine
3. Consume probiotics and fermented foods (if you experience bloating afterward, try a carnivore diet for a while)

0:10 What are goitrogens?
0:20 What is a goiter?
1:03 Foods to avoid for hypothyroidism
4:00 Discover the best foods for hypothyroidism!
Let’s talk about the top foods to avoid if you have a hypothyroid condition.
Goitrogens are things that cause a goiter. A goiter is an enlarged thyroid gland. Goitrogenic foods interfere with certain enzymes and hormones and can lead to a goiter.
Foods to avoid for hypothyroidism:
1. Cassava
2. Lima beans
3. Sorgum
4. Sweet potato
5. Flax seed
6. Cruciferous vegetables
7. Millet
8. Soy products
9. Onions
10. Gluten
If you have cruciferous vegetables in very small amounts (less than five ounces), it shouldn’t be a problem.
Cooking, steaming, or fermenting cruciferous vegetables also reduces their goitrogenic effect. Having sea kelp as well may also help.
You would also want to avoid anything that depletes selenium, iodine, iron, and vitamin A.
Good sources of selenium and iodine:
• Seafood
• Sea kelp
• Sea salt
Good sources of iron:
• Red meat
• Animal products
Good sources of vitamin A:
• Egg yolks
• Butter
• Cod liver oil
• Beef liver

3:35 Carotenoids for the eyes
4:05 What to eat for healthy eyes
6:19 Learn more about the best ways to support the eyes!
Today I want to cover the best foods for the eyes. Your eyes are highly complex, and it's important to support them to help avoid vision problems and other issues.
The most important nutrient for the eyes is DHA, which is an omega-3 fatty acid.
DHA has many important functions and protects against macular degeneration and inflammation. It also inhibits the formation of extra blood vessels in the eyes that could affect vision. DHA is destroyed by blue light, UV light, and omega-6 fatty acids.
Carotenoids are also very protective for the eyes, specifically lutein, zeaxanthin, and meso-zeaxanthin.
The best foods to support the eyes:
• Oily cold-water fish (bluefin tuna, salmon, herring, cod liver, cod liver oil, oysters, and sardines)
• Grass-fed beef
• Pasture-raised, organic egg yolks
• Walnuts
• Chia seeds
• Flax seeds
• Dark leafy green vegetables
• Shrimp
It's also crucial to avoid omega-6 fatty acids and sugar to support healthy eyes.

How To Stop Overeating And Be Satisfied With Your Food

1:37 Protein explained
3:15 Protein requirements
7:40 Learn more about protein!
After learning some interesting new information, I’m going to share how to stop overeating and the best way to satisfy your hunger.
There are three things I’ve covered on this topic before:
1. Consume more fat
2. Eat nutrient-dense foods
3. Support healthy digestion
The above three things are important. But the best way to satisfy hunger and stop overeating is to consume the right amount of protein.
One study found that certain insects will continue to eat until their protein requirements are met. If you put these insects on a low-protein diet, they will overeat.
However, you don’t want to consume too much protein. Excess protein is not stored and will convert to sugar. The right amount of protein will give your body what it needs without converting to sugar or fat.

The #1 Best Way to Rid ALCOHOL Cravings
Sometimes you need to deal with cravings first so you can successfully do the keto diet. Find out how to get rid of cravings for alcohol or sugar.

2:22 Benefits of L-glutamine
3:11 Glutamine deficiency
4:35 Foods high in glutamine
5:20 Other things to help stop cravings
5:38 Learn more about Healthy Keto® and intermittent fasting!
Today I’m going to cover the best remedy to help get rid of sugar cravings and cravings for alcohol: L-glutamine.
Glutamine is the most abundant amino acid in the body. Glutamine turns into glutamate, which is the most abundant neurotransmitter in the brain.
L-glutamine increases gluconeogenesis, which is the production of new sugar. This means that this amino acid can quickly turn to sugar and feed your brain cells, but it won’t spike your insulin.
Both sugar and alcohol can provide a sense of relief to some people. L-glutamine may help provide fuel to the brain and reduce stress, anxiety, and pressure—this may help reduce the need for alcohol and sugar. L-glutamine has many other potential health benefits, as well.
Alcohol consumption can block glutamine and all of the beneficial effects that come with it.
Other things can also create a glutamine deficiency, such as:
• Chronic stress
• Overtraining
• Trauma
• Chronic infection
• A lack of glutamine in the diet
Foods rich in glutamine:
• Beef
• Chicken
• Fish
• Eggs
• Dairy
• Cabbage
• Dark leafy green vegetables
You can also take L-glutamine as a supplement.
Other things that may help get rid of cravings for alcohol and sugar:
• Regular exercise without overtraining
• Getting enough sleep
• Reducing stress
• Consuming less alcohol
• Get on the keto diet and do intermittent fasting

Cyanocobalamin: The REAL Reason Why You Should Avoid Synthetic B12

5:43 Other forms of vitamin B12
6:14 Learn more about the best diet!
Today we're going to talk about a type of vitamin B12 I would avoid: cyanocobalamin.
Cyanocobalamin is a synthetic version of vitamin B12. It's a very cheap version, and it's hiding in many fortified grain foods, synthetic vitamins, energy drinks, B12 injections, and even infant formulas. It's also typically present in very high doses in these products.
The problem is that there is a cyanide molecule attached to the cobalamin. Cyanide shuts down the oxygen to your mitochondria.
Potential side effects of cyanocobalamin:
• Vomiting
• Stomach problems
• Low potassium
• Headaches
• Fever
• Dizziness
It's true that the liver can detoxify small amounts of cyanide. But what if someone consumes large amounts of products containing this synthetic B12?
Some people also have problems with their detoxification genes that could cause them to have trouble getting rid of cyanide. Another common genetic problem with methylation can cause the effects of synthetic vitamin B12 to be worse.
The best form of vitamin B12 is the natural version called methylcobalamin. This version is the active form of vitamin B12 and stays in the body longer than the synthetic versions.
Potential benefits of methylcobalamin:
• It may help improve sleep
• It can decrease the need for sleep
• It can help you wake up feeling alert and refreshed
• It can help you fall asleep faster
• It's great for the nervous system (especially the myelin sheath)
• It supports healthy eyes
• It increases melatonin
• It decreases homocysteine
• It can help regulate cortisol
• It supports the red blood cells
Causes of vitamin B12 deficiency:
• Not consuming foods high in vitamin B12
• Stomach inflammation
• H. pylori
• Low stomach acid
• Gastric bypass
• Inflammation in the intestines

10:45 Heart attack prevention
11:54 Learn more about how to support the heart!
Heart disease is the leading cause of death globally. Today we’re going to talk about a common cause of heart attacks you may have never considered before.
The heart is constantly working. Death from a heart attack is caused by the heart muscle malfunctioning due to a lack of oxygen. Any muscle, including the heart, needs a lot of oxygen to work.
Too much of a certain enzyme called lactate causes lactic acid, which causes your pH to be more acidic, and you can run out of air quickly.
Lactate ultimately comes from burning glucose (sugar) as fuel. Elevated glucose from a high-sugar or high-carb diet is bad for your triglycerides, cholesterol, and your overall heart health.
Adrenaline, caused by stress, also raises your glucose leading to lactic acid and a lack of oxygen, affecting the heart.
Chronic stress can also increase LDL cholesterol and triglycerides. Adrenaline and cortisol can have this effect even in people with low blood sugar levels.
Other potential causes of increased lactic acid and risk for heart attacks:
• Smoking and vaping
• Tylenol poisoning
• Inflammation
• Diabetes
• Fructose
• Cyanide poisoning
• Alcohol
• Certain medications
• Vitamin B1 deficiency
• Vitamin B12 deficiency
How to lower adrenaline and support the heart:
1. Reduce stress triggers
2. Try intermittent high-intensity exercise with a lot of rest in-between and take long walks in nature
3. Avoid sugar (get on the ketogenic diet)
4. Take vitamin B1

STOP Keto/Paleo or Intense Exercise – Burn Fat and Get Shredded
Burn fat and get shredded without doing anything? Is it too good to be true?
0:00 Introduction: The truth about V Shred
1:45 Understanding weight loss
2:42 Why is it harder for some people to lose weight?
5:25 It’s not just about weight loss
6:25 The best diet for weight loss
7:10 Learn more about how to do keto!
You’ve probably seen advertisements offering a program that can help you burn fat and get shredded without doing keto, paleo, or even exercise. This diet only requires you to cut out added sugar and processed foods.
But is this program too good to be true? The short answer: for most people, yes.
Fat burning and weight loss are about what you eat and when you eat. It’s really tied to insulin. If you lower your insulin, your body can stop storing fat and will start burning fat. The lower your carbohydrates, the more fat you’re going to burn.
It’s harder for some people to lose weight than others because they have insulin resistance. Some people can lose weight by only reducing their carbs because they don’t have insulin resistance. But this is rare.
About 70% of the population has insulin resistance. The two main things that increase insulin are carbs and frequent eating. The more insulin resistance you have, the more you have to reduce your carbs and do intermittent fasting.
The problem with the V Shred program is that it focuses on a very small percentage of the population that can lose weight by reducing junk foods and processed sugar. The majority of people will need to at least do fasting to experience results.
It’s also important to remember that it’s not just about weight loss. It’s about getting healthy and looking good as you lose weight. I believe the best way to get healthy and lose weight is to get on the Healthy Keto® diet (lower your carbs and increase the quality of your food), do intermittent fasting, and do the right exercise.

One Simple Change that Eliminates Hypoglycemia (Low Blood Sugar)
This one tiny simple change could help you get rid of hypoglycemia.
DATA:
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7560934/
0:00 Introduction: Getting rid of hypoglycemia
0:10 What is hypoglycemia?
0:28 Hypoglycemia symptoms

5:25 Fix hypoglycemia
6:27 The benefits of running your body on fat
10:04 How to switch to fat fuel
11:20 Learn more about how to switch to fat fuel!
Let's talk about the best way to get rid of hypoglycemia naturally. Hypoglycemia is a condition where you have low blood sugar (below 70 mg/dl).
Common symptoms of hypoglycemia:
• Shakiness
• Irritability
• Anxiety
• Hunger
• Sweating
• Headaches
• Inability to concentrate
• Blurred vision
A person with hypoglycemia has insulin resistance. Chronic consumption of refined carbohydrates and frequent eating trigger spikes in insulin, which causes insulin resistance.
It's rare to have low blood sugar when experiencing hypoglycemic symptoms. With hypoglycemia, you may have normal blood sugar levels, but you also have high insulin.
Glucose absorption in the cells is also dependent on insulin. The more insulin resistance you have, the less glucose you'll have in the cells. This is why you might have normal amounts of glucose in the blood but low amounts of glucose in the cells. This type of hypoglycemia is called hyperinsulinemic hypoglycemia.
The worst thing you can do for hypoglycemia is to consume frequent small meals or sugar. The best way to get rid of hypoglycemia is to run your body on fat (fatty acids and ketones) instead of sugar for fuel.
Switching the body's fuel source only takes a few days, and you don't need insulin to be involved in the process. Switching the body to fat fuel may also help with many other conditions associated with insulin resistance.
Fat fuel is much more efficient than sugar for energy, taking massive stress off the mitochondria. The majority of non-infectious diseases may be related to damaged mitochondria. Other organs like the thyroid, liver, heart, and brain can also function better on fat fuel.
There is only one thing you need to do to switch to fat fuel and get rid of hypoglycemia: lower your carbohydrates below 50 grams per day.

12:18 Learn more about how to reverse diabetes!
Today I want to share some new interesting information on how to put diabetes in remission.
If you fix insulin resistance, you can fix your type 2 diabetes. But, if you have a fatty liver, you can't get rid of insulin resistance.
If you have insulin resistance, pre-diabetes, or diabetes, you need to focus on removing fat from your liver. You can develop insulin resistance with less than two percent of the liver being fatty.
The good news is that the brain and body love to run on ketones instead of glucose for fuel. It’s crucial to start running your body on ketones to fix insulin resistance and other health concerns.
When you decrease your blood glucose, the body starts using ketones. Within six days of running the body on ketones, you can significantly improve the effects of insulin resistance in your liver. The ketogenic diet has been shown to decrease 50 percent of the fat in a person’s liver within two weeks.
Key things to start doing right now:
1. Get on the ketogenic diet
2. Consume a moderate amount of protein
3. Consume apple cider vinegar (one to two tablespoons in water)
4. Let your appetite dictate when you eat (eat less frequently)
5. Exercise on a regular basis

Let’s talk about the dangers of consuming sugar.
Here are a few commonly-known dangers of sugar consumption:
• Weight gain
• Dental decay
• Fatty liver
• High cholesterol
• Acne
• High blood pressure
• Candida infections
• Lowered immunity
However, sugar affects the body in deeper ways. Many people don’t know that most diseases are metabolic diseases, and metabolic diseases are related to mitochondrial dysfunction.
A lot of things destroy the mitochondria, but sugar and foods that quickly turn into sugar, like carbohydrates, are at the top of the list.
The effects of sugar on the mitochondria in the cells can set your body up for a cascade of health issues.
How to improve your mitochondria:
1. Go on the ketogenic diet
2. Exercise (HIIT)
3. Try cold therapy
4. Do intermittent fasting
5. Try high-altitude training
6. Reduce stress
7. Get plenty of sleep

The Protein That Spikes Insulin More than White Bread
Check out the pros and cons of whey protein powder!

1:48 Whey protein for weight loss
2:25 Will whey protein create insulin resistance?
3:20 Is whey protein powder bad for you?
4:32 Learn more about dairy on keto!
There is one type of protein that can raise your insulin even more than white bread or glucose: whey protein.
White bread can increase your insulin by 87%. But whey protein can increase your insulin by a whopping 139%.
However, whey protein has an interesting effect because even though it raises insulin, it doesn’t spike your blood sugar level. Some studies have even shown that consuming whey protein after a meal could help lower your blood sugar.
Whey protein also increases glucagon, which helps neutralize some of the bad effects of insulin. But will whey protein knock you out of ketosis? Yes. Anything that increases insulin will kick you out of ketosis. Will whey protein powder increase weight gain? I don’t think it does.
It’s unknown whether or not whey protein can lead to insulin resistance. While whey protein stimulates muscle growth, it also creates a hormonal effect and stimulates other organs. There has also been data that it’s beneficial for the liver, but other data says that it can damage the liver.
There are a lot of mixed opinions on whey protein powder right now. Personally, I don’t take it. I consume higher-quality protein sources, like eggs, meat, and fish, which also have additional nutrients. But, for certain people, whey protein can create some positive effects.

There is an interesting connection between your microbiome and your arteries. In mice studies, when the mice lack a healthy gut microbiome, they tend to develop a lot of inflammation. Inflammation in the arteries triggers a cascade of damaging effects. An overall imbalance of the microorganisms in the body can also lead to various problems in the arteries.
One of the most important vitamins for the arteries is vitamin K2. Vitamin K2 helps keep calcium buildup out of the arteries. The microbes in your gut have the ability to make vitamin K2, but fermented foods and fatty foods are also rich in vitamin K2.
Keep in mind that vitamin K2 works better when taken with vitamin D3. For every 100 mcg of vitamin K2, consider taking 10,000 IU of vitamin D3.
Probiotics are crucial to support healthy arteries, and your friendly microbes are your natural probiotics. It’s important to support your microbiome and avoid sterile foods like pasteurized and over-processed foods.
The best meal to clean out the arteries:
• Brie cheese
• Fatty pork sausage
• Sauerkraut
Each of these foods is fermented and loaded with vitamin K2. Give them a try, and start adding other alive and fermented foods to your diet.

1:22 How to stop having cold hands and feet
6:14 Learn more about what to do for peripheral neuropathy!
Let’s talk about what natural things you can do to no longer have cold feet and hands.
Top causes of cold feet and hands:
• A thyroid problem
• Poor circulation (peripheral artery disease)
• Raynaud’s syndrome
• Peripheral neuropathy
You may want to try taking benfotiamine if you have Raynaud’s syndrome or peripheral neuropathy. But what do you do if you don’t have any of the above issues and still have cold hands or cold feet?
There is a simple and natural solution you can try that involves exercising your arteries. You only need to do this exercise once or twice a day for about one and a half to two minutes.
What to do for cold hands and feet:
1. Fill a bucket one-third of the way with ice and two-thirds of the way with water
2. Stick your cold feet or hands in the bucket and wait for one to two minutes, breathing normally (your hands or feet will start to feel slightly warm in the water)
3. Remove your feet or hands
4. Repeat daily until your feet or hands have become warmer over time

5:22 Learn more about citrates and oxalates!
Today we’re going to talk about natural alternatives for dyspareunia.
This condition can cause pain during intercourse, pelvic exams, and horse riding, or while inserting a tampon or sitting too long.
My opinion is that this condition is typically caused by oxalates in the vaginal area. Oxalates can form crystals that can look like razor blades and are behind other conditions, as well, like kidney stones and gout.
Thankfully, there are natural remedies for dyspareunia and certain foods that may be helpful. You may also want to avoid high-oxalate foods for a while to help determine if oxalates could be involved.
High-oxalate foods to avoid if you have dyspareunia:
• Spinach
• Beets
• Grains
• Beans
• Potatoes
• Almonds
• Peanuts
• Kiwi
• Wheat germ
• Soy
• Xylitol
• Blackberries
• Chocolate
• Eggplant
• Black pepper
• Swiss chard
• Rhubarb
• Figs
• Turmeric
Try consuming dairy with any of the above foods to help reduce the effects of oxalates.
Foods that are okay to consume if you have dyspareunia:
• Meat
• Fish
• Seafood
• Eggs
• Dairy
• Fats
• Arugula
• Cabbage
• Avocado
• Cauliflower
• Lettuce
• Saturated fats
The best natural remedies for dyspareunia:
1. Vitamin B6 (P5P form)
2. Calcium citrate (before bed)
3. NAG (n-acetyl-glucosamine)
4. CMO (cetyl myristoleate)

The #1 Best Meal for Liver Detoxification

0:10 Liver detox vs. cleanse
0:43 Understanding liver detoxification
9:55 The best foods to detox the liver
12:53 Learn more about how to get rid of a fatty liver!
Let's talk about the best meal to detox the liver. It's important to keep in mind that a liver detox is very different from a liver cleanse.
Liver "cleanses" won't help you clean your liver in any significant way. But supporting your natural detoxification process may be beneficial.
Your liver has two phases of detoxification that help get rid of toxins. The goal of this detoxification process is to turn poisons into harmless water-soluble particles.
Some people have a genetic problem with particular detoxification enzymes. This can make you more susceptible to damage from certain toxins. A DNA test can give you the information you need to avoid a certain toxin and better support detoxification.
Fixing your diet is the best way to support liver detoxification. You don't need a short-term detox or cleanse. You need to make certain foods that support the liver a part of your regular diet.
The best meal for liver detox:
• Eggs cooked with onions, garlic, and sea salt
• Cruciferous vegetables
• Kefir with walnuts and low-carb, no-sugar chocolate chips
• Add herbs to your meal like thyme, sage, oregano, cayenne pepper, turmeric, and rosemary

Common treatments for phlegm or mucus either suppress or pull mucus out. Anytime you suppress mucus, you may end up having the infection longer and weaken your immune system. Typical treatments also come with potential side effects.
Keep in mind that it’s important to exercise your lungs if you're dealing with phlegm. You can do this by alternating breathing through your nose using your chest and breathing through your nose using your stomach.
Radishes are one of the best foods to get rid of phlegm—if you can, try adding them to your diet.

Ingredients:
1 tbsp. onion juice
1 tbsp. honey (Manuka honey if possible)
2 tbsp. lemon juice
Water
Optional ingredients:
